  1. At least we know it would be useful for hitting Donald Trump in the eye.
  2. The animations are definitely more watchable. It must be the Beginning set. There hasn't been a Complete Hartnell set and if there was, it would cost at least £80.
  3. Not unless there's any millionaires on here.
  4. Ridiculous that we are no longer allowed to discuss the upcoming film in the thread for the LEGO set. I think this forum's now in serious danger of becoming forgotten/abandoned.
  5. Right...so we can't talk about the film, we can't talk about the set because it's trolling. What exactly can we talk about then? If you keep enforcing strict/unclear rules like this, the forum's going to die. How's anyone supposed to find anything to discuss in any thread? There's only so many times people can have discussions about a set's appearance.
  6. Yeah, I'd say so. There are a lot of references to the classic series.
  7. That white brick looks nice. Doesn't that white brick look nice? Especially the way it's white.
  8. There's only so much you can discuss about a LEGO set without delving into discussing the film it's based on...
  9. Spearhead From Space is a good starting point.
  10. Ask anyone what the car from Back to the Future looked like, they'll tell you it was a Delorean immediately. Ask the same about Ghostbusters and they'll struggle to picture it in their minds in comparison. It's pretty much iconic but nowhere near as iconic as the Delorean and I certainly don't think many would be able to name the make of the car in the same way that even a casual viewer of Back to the Future knows it's a Delorean. Actually, recent rumours suggest that
  11. He wouldn't even need to do instructions. That's up to whoever would design the set to make it viable for a official LEGO release.
  12. Nice to see someone interested in the classic series of Doctor Who as opposed to just the new series.
  13. I disagree, I really like the original films also (well, not so much the second one) and I think the 2016 Ecto-1 looks nicer. I love the irony of it being a hearse. Hardly. I wouldn't call the Ecto-1 as iconic as the Delorean from Back to the Future. 1. It's not a remake. 2. The film won't bomb at the box office because A: It's Ghostbusters, B: It's directed by Paul Feig - a comedy director in huge demand at the moment and C: It features four of the most critically acclaimed comedy actors in Hollywood at the moment and Chris Hemsworth.
  14. Not as a LEGO set though. I'd love to be able to build the Indominus Rex.
  15. If they don't approve the Indominus Rex, I may go on my own dinosaur rampage. I don't care if it's too big.
  16. I wish they'd do smaller sets that don't cost £169 or something ridiculous. How about a £80 Android's Dungeon? Or a £50 Family Sedan?
  17. If there having a specialist announce something to do with the Ideas review, I'm guessing one of the licensed sets must have been approved (it would surely have to be something big to have an announcement like that).
  18. Yeah, I hope Rowan's Ghost is released as a playable minifigure. It would be great to be able to have him on the Toy Pad with Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
  19. No Mickey Mouse minifigure reveal at least? LEGO are just being unfair now.
  20. Agreed. The only chance a Fantastic Four movie has of working now is if Marvel get the rights back. Wish there was a chance of them getting the characters back in time for Phase 4.
  21. I see the cutscenes are a lot shorter than in LEGO Marvel Superheroes.
  22. I hope we get to see a picture of the inevitable Mickey Mouse minifigure from the Toy Fair.
