  1. Yes, I've been going for a very "capitalist layout", so I have the cola/Iveco ship, a Maersk train and a Vestas powerplant (I found the large plates with the stickers for pretty cheap on BrickLink). I would love to get the Mcdonald's sticker sheet from 3438 to make a space Mcdonald's but it's so expensive. I guess I'll just have to have a day when I feel like going on a splurge. I would also love the Ramboll sticker but that's a far, far away dream. I would get reprints of these stickers but I just hate to use fake stuff, I would rather spend a lot of money on real piece rather than customizing or getting a fake and have to say "yeah, that's fake".
  2. 4000014 inside tour LegoLand Train Thanks! :)
  3. This is the first MOC I'm posting here so bear with me. This is a CocaCola transport ship I built for my space layout. It has a cockpit, a storage area and two engines on either side. The back has an opening door to allow the case of cola bottles to be put in, It's built with some technic lift arms to give it a smooth open and close. I used the Coca Cola stickers from those 2002 Japanese football/studios promos, no fake decals or prints here! It's a fairly simple ship but it gets the job done as a cargo ship.
  4. Ha ha. I will be doing up some baddy ships and I've already been working on some aliens/bounty hunters. I mean, what's a space scene without some aliens attacking?
  5. Hello everybody! I'm an active member on Brickset's forum but I thought I would give this one a whirl. I love to collect rare Lego, (at least what I can afford, ha ha) especially minifigs and sealed classic space sets. I've also gotten a little into some of the HO cars. I would have to say my favorite theme is StarWars and I try to get the new UCS set every year. I also like to make MOCs. My current project is a sci fi space mining colony and its full of ships and vehicles all around and it has a space Maersk train going around it all. Unfortunately I don't have much space so my MOC is a bit restricted and going to be a bit crammed until I can get more room. Here's a picture of my favorite thing in my collection (6930 Space Supply Station sealed)
  6. Great stuff! Is the green tube 1 piece that wraps around the back or are there 2 tubes?
  7. Looks like 8 of these arm pieces with the bottom part painted blue. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=62691&idColor=95#T=S&C=95&O={"color":95,"ii":1}
  8. I've never seen a design like that before, it's pretty awesome! If you ever want to re-purpose it, it would probably look pretty good as a mech head, ha ha.
  9. Or this piece would look good for the face. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=14769pb003&idColor=86#T=S&C=86&O={"color":86,"ii":1}
  10. Awesome! I love how you used those crane supports and all the greebling (that how you say it? :P) and the engine detail is great!
  11. I would love to see the zeppelin, the tank (unlikely as that's a no no for Lego) and the temple in Last Crusade. Also some more Temple of Doom stuff as I think Lego focused more on Raiders and the new movie when they did those sets.
  12. I think it really matters what the "good price" is that you got it for. The cheapest price on BrickLink for a complete set is $2500 US so I would say as long as you are spending quite a bit less than that for your set plus the parts go for it. It also matters how much you want to spend on this set as mentioned above.
  13. I really like the way you connected the cars. I wish I could get my hands on a monorail, ha ha... one day...
  14. Ever since they noticed that they got killed too easily. ;P
  15. Test test test test test TEST. test. test test. tiny test. Okay, I'm done testing.
