  1. I'm curious as to if/when the general public will get burnt out by all the cars, or if we'll still be here ten years from now
  2. Looks good, nice work :) To add on to it, note that it didn't embed the images into your comment - if you want it to do that, you should open each image in a new tab, then copy that link to your comment. That way this'll happen:
  3. Pretty much. I'd recommend just uploading to imgur, then posting the link to each .jpg/.png. It should automatically embed the image into your comment
  4. Heheh this is awesome, I really like the graphic design going on here. It'd be interesting if other people joined in on this and made their own Technic spaceships with lore
  5. ooooh i'm excited to see how this turns out!
  6. I don't see how F1 is enforceable to be honest, so I wouldn't really worry about it. Even with the original F4 wording, I'm not surprised they're not allowed - all they'd do is clutter up the website. The only argument I can see in response to this is that Rebrickable should be able to check your inventory to see if you have enough parts to for a colour swap. I have no idea if it already has this ability though.
  7. Definitely a heinous price tag but that's the Ferrari license for you! Quite a pretty model regardless
  8. @johnnytifosi prez quoted me instead of you so here you go :)
  9. I think I identify with this opinion the most. I wish people didn't charge money for instructions, but hell it's not my place to tell people what to do.
  10. It won't, it'll just be a Ferrari license
  11. I'm quite surprised by that, to be honest. Lego pneumatics are usually pretty good at lifting stuff
  12. Your modification is starting to get there, but I think two other changes need to be made: The outsides of the headlights should drop well below the contour of the front bumper, not effectively merge with it like in the 570S, see below comparison The top corners of the headlights should be rounded out a bit more
  13. Get ready for it to look the same, because there are effectively never any changes at this stage
  14. I uh... just nah man. The CaDA Assassin is a hodge-podge mess of angled connectors, and the rear fender is pretty much straight and doesn't capture the P1's form at all
  15. Ah finally a McLaren P1 build that looks to get the rear quarter panel curvature's proportions correct. Don't care about all the whinging that this car is over 10 years old, it's still beautiful and an excellent candidate (although I do kinda prefer the Speedtail)
  16. Kinda think it looks better... How about two studs? Fully acknowledging there's nothing there to stop the gear from pitching over. Also how's it look in 3D?
  17. I assume that stud.io file is yours - how would it look if the rear landing gear was moved three studs forward to the LBG 3L axle?
  18. Can't say I had much hope for this set to be perfectly honest, and I find myself proven correct... It seems so boring. Like Erik said, it's a whole lot of not much going on... The excavator only having two cylinders feels like a spit in the face
  19. That is true. I think it's quite possible that the truck will be a flatbed rather than having a trailer, for that very reason.
  20. Apologies, I should have been more specific. I was asking in terms of brittleness
  21. That sounds about right, NASA's LRV was battery powered - no combustion engines in space I love the idea of mixing multiple vehicles in the one set, but I'm just so sick of pneumatic excavators. I just want a pneumatic logging semi truck with a crane for heaven's sakes That's technically true, however I'd argue that's quite a minor thing, since it's still perfectly functional without it PFF naaaaah dude trailers are awesome. Imagine if it were a self-steering trailer as well! Doubtful but I can only hope
  22. Ahh, bless the silence Can anybody comment on the plastic quality of CaDA nowadays? Has it significantly improved since the Centenario?
  23. Remember though, 8043 and 42006 were from a different design era in Technic history. Nowadays the builds have more pieces dedicated to aesthetics
  24. That's just the opposite one reflecting off the beam
  25. The SPIKE hub has a fair bit more going on in it than a PU smart hub though, no? Yeah, with a medium linear actuator
