That... is actually a very well designed T. Rex, the gates too, but I do hope they pick up the pace for JP1 sets next year. I wonder if these big brickbuilt models sell well, I hope they do even if they're not my thing they still look very great.

Looks like that museum sign in the Trike set doesn’t mean anything, maybe next year. That is if this image is real but it’s weird because it does seem like it would ripoff the ideas submission, which I’m pretty sure LEGO rejected and I know there was controversy over a similar situation with the ghostbusters firehouse.

Last year we only had leaked figures as well, until about a month before the set released there was finally a rumor about what it’d have.

I’d been wanting to see those tiles in the dilophosaur set, they’re all pretty good. Masrani has a new face too, an open mouth smile.

That’s good to hear, that must mean they should be out soon, hopefully this June. Maybe a reveal of the d2c as well.

I still think they’re saving the T. rex breakout scene for its own d2c. All that’d be left is the raptor pen, but I doubt that will be made. Anything else should just be park expansion sets with paddock fences and shrubbery for dinosaurs who’s scenes don’t provide much for builds like Brachiosaurus and Gallimimus.

Those fossils look great, and they could also be used to expand Lockwood manor.

I think it works fine unlike Tim, and it’s probably to differentiate him from Danny. Love the Lost World color scheme too, and I noticed the torso is the more detailed game version as well. The head looks exactly like the leaked one except it’s a stern expression so I wonder what’s up with that.

I’ve been thinking that’s the variant we’ll be getting as well. I believe Alan will be a reissue and the muddy survivor versions of those characters will be saved for later. This set would be a pretty good opportunity for Lex in her cap too.

One of the harry potter characters who reused Ellie’s head has a variant in a set revealed today that’s got the same face but with a new smiling expression. I wonder if Ellie is in the JP set and this is her new head that they again reused for this character.

I thought the new Harry Potter hair would work for Mike too.

I doubt LEGO won’t do it unless the theme totally fails before we can get the most iconic Jurassic vehicle. Besides, they straight up made the mech in its color scheme, they’re not dumb. Just watch, they have a strategy to ride out the demand in order to get our money: The control room was an affordable set with three recognizable scenes and the main cast. This upcoming d2c presumed to be the visitor center will be larger and more detailed while rounding out the rest of the characters. Then, a T. Rex breakout set, with mainly rereleased figures, would be a case of the builds being the selling point, as it can stand on its own as shown in this ideas set. Get rid of the gates and the road and I think that’s what we’d get.

Yeah, Wheatley did not need to appear twice. I haven’t watched the show, but I was under the impression it was r rated for some reason. I look forward to seeing what we’ll get, i liked the houses and forest lab I saw in the universal studios maze lab.

I’m actually glad there’s only five sets to worry about this time. It was a smart move to release a smaller, more affordable JP set among the seven other JW sets. It also gave LEGO a better idea if it would sell well, which it apparently did.

I think we’re getting the visitor center with fossils, the gates, a Jeep or two, and a young Dilophosaurus. I truly have no idea how pricing works, I mean I understand how a T. rex drives up prices but at this point I thought it’d be easy to include just one raptor. I have a feeling Alan will be reused. Muldoon had a way bigger role than Ray so I think he’s likely along with survivor Ellie, or they could put them both in rain coats like Nedry. Gennaro wears a coat and hat that he takes off on the tour, so I could see them including him in that variant. I’d even bet Wu will show up.

Nedry didn’t take a tour vehicle, he took a Jeep. The Malcolm figure we’re getting does have a scared face for the rex chase scene but that outfit is well known for his pose in the visitor center. I think they’re going to save Rexy’s breakout as the one JP set for next year, that scene is way too iconic to not make into its own detailed set. The ford explorers alone would be a huge draw.

I would’ve been disappointed if that was the actual set. I wonder how many rooms we’d get out of the visitor center. The main hall with fossils, the hatchery, and dining area are all I can think of that’s left.

I guess this is the year of Sam Jackson. I’m so excited to see even just parts of these characters in physical form, I can’t wait to see what else we’re getting. Muldoon is a must if they’re including Arnold, I’d say Gennaro too unless they do a T. rex breakout another time. I’d like Wu and Gerry but I can see them being skipped. I noticed Malcolm’s face looks exactly like Jeff’s marvel character rather than the bricktober version.

Are dual mold arms that expensive? I’d think with the white and flesh ones being available in so many sets and cmf figures they’d be cheaper. I too love how much the face resembles Richard Attenborough, I appreciate how the Jurassic theme gets spot on likenesses for pretty much every main character; only Lex, Tim, Maisie and Mills reuse generic faces.

3120 pieces, 249.99 euros I believe

Most likely since I’m a fan of all the films, but that’d depend on how they pull it off. It’d have to be very justified at that price, like I wanted the Lockwood Estate set but since it’s underwhelming for $130 I just bought it recently because it was half off. Its just I can’t really think much of what the interior would have that LEGO can sell people on other than the holograms and informational walls. If anything, I think it’d have to be a part of a modular Main Street, because this ideas set actually looks like something I’d want. Just add another building or two and this could be like the diagon alley of this series.

Leaked figures have always had imperfections since they are taken from factories, I’m sure they’ll look a lot better when they’re actually released.

We should expect a reveal of the d2c next month right? Like last year, the Velociraptor escape and Dilophosaurus Outpost sets were revealed before the entire wave released that same month in April.

That's mainly the reason I've wanted a new face for him, something that's more of an updated 06 version.

It looks way better than I thought, the torso is perfect, the left side of the leg print nis just obviously so far off. I just wish we got older grey haired Gordon.
