Thanks everyone for the comments. Yes Optimus and the A-team like to make appearances in many of our shows. Also Trolls dont like skiing that much but the rock monsters and storm troopers do. Merry Christmas everyone!

Very nice Truck. It looks great in the dark red. Just like my F150. I might use this to inspire mine when i get around to building it. The highway patrol looks very good as well. The black 1x1 plate with round clip bugs me though. It needs to be higher(if supposed to be a mirror) or replace in my opinion Play Well,

This is a current display our club did for the Make A Wish Foundation to help them raise money during a local Christmas display. It features a quaint little town connected by bridge to a ski hill (with hidden Santa's workshop) and winter village. I agree with some of the above ideas and thoughts. The vehichles hae evolved into better designs and better scales. I am very excited about the new fire truck ladder piece. I am not a big fan of the large <insert that tiresome argument> airplane pieces but at least the aircraft are closer to a believable size. I realize that the target audience is 6-10 year boys, but is it just me, or does anyone else notice that the hardest sets to find are the non emergency town/city sets? It seems like they are first to sell out. I too would appreciate more variety to collect and use to build up my own city. Having said all that, I do appreciate the Modulars and how they are geared toward the older builder. As long as the keep coming out with those, I'll turn a blind eye everytime a new Police/Fire set comes out. I must say that I do like the fact that some of the 2013 Fire sets actually have buildings on fire and other fires to be put out.

Thank you for the comments. Unfortunatley the top section is not a functional structure. I may alter it at a later time or make it more into an arch. I borrowed different design elements from local bridges where I am from. The curved arch design was inspired by a bridge my friend made a couple years back - http://www.flickr.com/photos/29844928@N07/sets/72157622529129734/ I need to order a bunch of tiles to finish it off before I take some final pictures.
