I have to say that as a theme, Friends has pleasantly surprised me. I was fairly excited about it for the colors and the possibility of new "girl oriented" minifig tools. When I first heard about it (the hints), it was in the context of "lots more plants and animals" which was very exciting. The animals specifically are just so adorable! My biggest fear with this theme when it came was the figures. I was very nervous about yet another different type of figure and was worried it would make the whole theme doomed to failure. However, the figures are being embraced by the community, and the target market seems to love them. I've even grown to really like them Overall, this theme is I think just what the doctor ordered.

I totally agree, I think PMs was probably not a good way to go but just thought since Pandora asked why he would do it...I'd just explain why he might have done it that way.

I think it makes some sense in that Hinck was the only other person on the list that was close to a majority and it sounds like this was very close to the end of the day. The other thing about PM instead of posting, is that maybe Flare thought anyone line at the time might get instant notification of the PM but perhaps not subscribed to the thread. Since he was contacting those who didn't vote him, maybe he thought that it would be easier to get them to switch quickly than to get someone who voted him to switch, which does make a lot of sense really. * anyone online at the time

I never said that. I said that I don't think we should worry about the photos and spend the day discussing what killer did what kill because coming to the wrong conclusion (easy to do with only one photo for each kill) can be more damaging to us than just waiting one more day. How dare you say I didn't give it any second thoughts, that is a mighty big assumption on your part. It wasn't some flippant vote following someone else and I've already explained my reasons for the vote. I also explained, when I voted, that I agreed that it was a good idea to pick someone from the newer players list as our mayor. Well, I'm sure your busy version of life and mine are different, but I won't hold that against you. Yes even when I'm busy I try to keep up with reading things (which was even difficult at times yesterday). You know this though, so it makes me wonder why you bring it up here. I was online somewhere else and extremely more quiet than usual there too, which you probably know, so hmm that makes me wonder what you are up to with that particular point.

I'm not sure why so many people are saying I never explained my mayor vote, I did earlier in the day. Here's the quote for your convenience. As for today's vote. If Big Cam was cursed with something that makes him act/talk like he is, which I have no doubt about because I have never seen him ever act like this before, I don't think that it should stop him from putting forth something other than just that baby talk. So the fact he is only doing that makes me feel like he's using it as a day one crutch so he doesn't have to help, but on the other hand I have some reservations about voting him because of it. Though without this role play curse thing, maybe he wouldn't be saying anything and his head wouldn't be on the chopping block at all. It's really a tough call because if he is using it as an excuse to not contribute, he'll be living another day because of it but on the other hand if he is just cursed and we lynch an innocent person over that, it will not help us figure anything out and we'll be stuck tomorrow with the same information. The only other candidate to stand out today is, of course, Flare. I think everything has been covered in regard to his strange actions and words. While I'm not completely convinced that he is scum, I do think that of all the people his lynch will give us the most to go forward with tomorrow. Vote: Flare

I don't really know what to say to this. I was very busy all day actually, and I posted my piece when I got the chance today. If I posted first, I'm sure you'd say that was odd that I posted so quickly, so it's just one of those types of situations. Sorta like statistics, the person doing the reporting will easily find whatever conclusion it is they wanted in the first place. And it's almost 4am here, I'm going to bed.

Yes. How long were you writing your post? Sometimes things get missed while creating the post, it's pretty common and not just in these types of situations. Also, for Hinck's convenience? That's a strange thing to say. Because I thought it was silly, but decided to go ahead and do it today (this current 24 hours timespan). It really doesn't matter, and I still think it's silly that we were all "forced" to post them, but whatever. The only post-solving piece posting that has me worried is the one from Big Cam a bit after the start of the day, everyone who posted after the whole "I know it's over but lets all post anyway so we can make lists" conversation probably posted whenever they got the chance to and saw no rush in doing so.

I really don't see the point in this. The puzzle is solved, and it hurts my eyes. Yes, I had a piece and didn't post it. I didn't think it was a good idea to post it on night zero for all the reasons already stated by many others. Guess I'm number 17 and in eyestabbing lime text too.

I meant what side he is on...allegiance? What the hell is the word. No, that would be pretty dumb of a scum team to try and get the Mayor elected and to let Flare post that strange reply to you. I don't think there was a team behind that. So, this Big Cam thing...well it's quite true he hasn't been posting anything of substance. If he was some sort of target of a roleplay action, I wouldn't expect it to make him be useless, it seems to just make him have to talk about pooping all the time. I think even with that, he should be able to make a decent post with some kind of info in it. I think we should wait to see what he has to say first, hopefully it's something that isn't just all about poop. I'm a bit troubled by people throwing a vote out already and saying "because it's mandatory to vote", i mean there's over 24 hours left (i think around 36?) in the day and yet they feel like they HAVE to vote now without a whole lot to go on. I just don't feel comfortable with that, it's like they want to hurry up and get voted before any bandwagons form so they can say they weren't on one...maybe?

I agree with you Hinckley that Flare's response to your vote was really strange, having not seen any previous behavior from him in these situations it's hard to say if that's normal for him or not though. When I voted him for mayor it was because he was on the short list of what I'd consider new players and the fact that I know him from Heroica, so I know he does pay attention to the games and read things...and he didn't do anything crazy in Heartlake like some people on that list. Anyway, I hadn't even seen your vote for him when I wrote mine. I've been busy catching up on today's discussion and have to agree that these games of chance are very dangerous for town to play. Yes we all want to have fun, but we shouldn't just throw our votes away to the winds of chance. Come on, think a little folks. With so many votes already lost, perhaps the mayor will be a more powerful position than we first thought. I agree with some of Pandora's reasoning behind voting Flare, I think it would be good to clear that alliance question up, but I'm really not ready to vote him yet. There's so little to go on yet, but the day is still relatively young. We have more than normal with that whole night zero discussions to go through. Right now, I just don't have a strong feeling on anyone.
