Heroica RPG - Quest #50: 108 Stars of Destiny
Darkdragon replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I'm sorry, but this seems like a waste of my skills to investigate things. Especially if this guy is going to just investigate the same thing." Cinna sighs and gets back into fighting position. If the Traveller is sealed: Attack Magic Traveller from the back row with Mauryl. Otherwise: Turn one -Take smelling salts. Turn two - Take grand tonic -

I completely disagree. But we won't bother debating the issue because, really, we will probably never agree on this (am I right def? lol). Ah mafia, you are so fun and annoying and stressful and fun. -

I don't think so. there was the jack of all trades and the inventor and the reporter. a host can only plan for so much and then it's on the players to maybe not spill all the roles to one person. -

The way the lunch flavor cops worked was each night was assigned a hint about the item a full flavor cop would have found, each night was different until it looped back. it just happened that two people who copped you first were the same night so they got the same result. Hinck did it on a different night so got a different clue. Traitor = disguise = that item, that's my mind process. for better or worse. -

yes. when town is dropping right and left and there was a cult claim on an earlier day, yes i would re-investigate the town block leader and i would not announce it in the day thread either. -

Verify verify verify! With the scum (and a traitor) and a cult, the town needed ways to verify and it needed to be spread out. RE Hinck: I really didn't expect him to go announcing he was bulleproof, expcially since he knew it was only one-shot. And then I thought for sure you guys would have investigated him somehow again on day three after he was converted but nobody actually did, which was pretty funny. It's so interesting how things work out when all the people start playing. I was so surprised that A)not one cult member was killed except the Shadows lynch and B)even when people were thinking "maybe there is a cult" and "we should work together", the scum and town didn't at all. -

He would have become the doctor, taking over the protection portion of Cecilie's role if she had been killed. The block portion would be gone. That's the way I consider Jailkeeper, as one person doing two roles. -

Indeed! It's in the role PMs which are posted on the first reply. Nobody. He wasn't lynched. -

def, I'm saying that (like someone else pointed out) the town should have looked harder at the people involved in the day 2 things. even the scum at one point said that maybe amy was cult leader. You don't feel it was balance, and that's perfectly your right. The losing side usually doesn't feel a game was balanced, I totally expected all the town and all the scum to say this when i posted the conclusion. I feel the game was balanced and I don't feel like I really have to defend myself on this, so I won't really argue it anyway. Glad you had some fun, sorry you are disapointed, looking forward to your game. -

I know It's because the way I worded your role, it seemed like if you just looked at mafiascum then technically i was totally misleading you. I don't think a host should mislead a player like that (aka lie to them) unless that lie is part of the role (like cops who always get wrong result). anyway, i kinda freaked out and said the wrong thing but then i culdn't take it back so i just left it alone. -

I'm not saying I made no mistakes. Learnign to ignore PMs that I shouldn't answer is something every new host has to learn I think (and even some very experienced ones). Oh yeah, you were blocked. But when you sent in the first action you were not blocked and she was not protected. I was kinda laughing (sorry cult, but it was funny ) Then when you changed targets I was laughing again, and then cec blocked you and it didn't matter anymore. -

I'm sorry def, but you are totally wrong here. You should really wait for the roles before assuming too much. I'll tell you all right now that the cult almost lost the game last night. The cult leader was completely unprotected and the hit had been put out on her, but switched at the last moment. I am not joking when I said this was a close game and it was anyone's game to win up to the last second (surprisingly even scum).
