I like that it's a Classic Castle set. It's all about history. It's a collector's piece. To be honest, I'd prefer to see LEGO produce the same set as a redesign. The classic Crusader torso is great for nostalgia, but I'd love to see it re-invented. It could have been the logo on a tabard, over chainmail. The shield could have been redone on the new shield mold from the Egyptian / Frightening Knight. I can't tell the color of the weapon, I hope it's a pearl grey. Basically, while I appreciate the homage and historical value, I want to see an update to the theme.

I'm not sure what would bother you about that. Is it an issue with quality differences over the years?

For some reason, LEGO considers Nexo Knights to fall under the umbrella of Castle, despite how very un-Castle it is. I think it's funny, but it doesn't take away from the set in any way, so I'm still excited to get my hands on it. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to buy that will add up to $50. Time to go through Pick-A-Brick, I suppose. They should have used that space for the CMF King.

There has been talk of a Shepherd or Goatherd minifigure in wishlists, and I'd love to see that as well. I didn't pick up too many Farmers, pigs only interest me so much and the minifigure himself was very plain. I would likely buy at least a couple more of a minifigure that comes with a goat.

It does look nice, and more authentic than the Pirates set. It seems odd to include the Nexo Knights king in their history lineup, but LEGO seems to consider that to fall under the Castle umbrella despite its very un-Castle concept and aesthetic. It doesn't really take away from the set at all, though.

This is awesome! I've been waiting for this. I have the Space and Pirates sets already, and this will complete the set nicely. I'll be likely to spend $100 to get 2 of them, actually. I guess I'll be buying a lot of Pick-A-Brick cups, since there aren't that many sets that appeal to me right now.

I'm super excited about this. After the similar Space and Pirates promos, I figured it was only a matter of time. Mill Village Raid was the only set to include the goats. It was $70 (USD) at retail. I agree, a more affordable set with goats would be a must-have. A goat army-builder.

Speaking of animals, I'd love it if they put the goats up on Pick-A-Brick. It'll never happen, but it would be fabulous. Maybe they could just put them in some new sets. I'd probably even buy a moderately sized Nexo Knights set to get some.

I'd love to see a re-release of Mill Village Raid (Kingdoms) with updated minifigures. Or a similarly new version of Medieval Market Village (Fantasy Era). Not exactly a theme to reboot, but we could use more villager sets, and these were 2 of the best.

Same here, but the problem is they want too much of it. They expect us to buy the whole set for the pieces we want. To me, that's just not economically sound. In the end, I don't spend at all. So yeah, I really hope that LEGO will want the money I'm willing to part with.

Have LEGO products become more violent?

Products may have increased the depictions or availability of violent play. This is a good thing. As others have said, this can actually aid in their development. I don't think LEGO is making kids more violent. LEGO could easily have more of these types of sets, or push that envelope further, and I still don't think it would have a negative effect. -

They have the lists of parts on Bricks and Pieces now. Some are still unavailable, but it looks like the lists are complete. There are no minifigures, as far as I can tell. I was looking to get Ash Attacker pieces, but they are not in the lists. I was also looking to get Lance's visor, but it is the only Knight visor that is not in the lists.

Castle, especially Forestmen and Wolfpack, needs a reboot. And not a complete reinvention like Nexo Knights, which loses the spirit of the original by combining it with something like Space. Also, Space could use a reboot.
