DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Really, that soon? Plus Nuremburg in February, and NYC around then too. So in the next month and a half or so, we should have what we're looking for.- 8,446 replies

I got a Loki helmet like this in 2012 where the sides were equally distorted. It could be that, or less likely its a prototype piece. -

Given his many uses in the Disney franchises, could we expect at least one Prince Charming in the series? I also feel we could see the fairy godmother, regardless of any princesses.- 4,155 replies

Doctor Strange vs Hannibal! It is interesting, as Dormammu is the obvious route. With filming underway, I'm sure details and/or set photos will emerge soon elnough. We could also see a synopsis sometime in the future. But we are a while out, so I wouldn't expect much news or set details anytime too soon in the future. -

Well, Mordo is the main villain of the film, right? Not much spoiling there. -

He doesn't mean reuse the piece, he means the concept. The rubber ring piece for the top of the head could be used with big circle ears, rather than pointed ears or horns, as it's been used for Black Panther & Darth Maul. The piece could be custom made for Mickey, possibly with a hole in front that could allow the piece to be used for Minnie with a bow piece put into the front.- 4,155 replies

No, but in that era the closest thing was a Batcycle loosely based on the Bat-Pod in a set with Batman and the cycle chasing Harley Quinn in her hammer truck. The next best thing will indeed be the slightly oversized-looking Batcycle from next year. However, the 2008 Batcycle did have large Bat-shaped wing pieces on the back, but you could always take those off.- 8,446 replies

I don't think its the USM this early, I doubt we're getting an X-Men set, and I think Mighty Micros would have individual numbers. -
Finally found this thread! I saw the film twice, and I caught the snowspeeder both times. It did not, IMO, warrant a set. Also, the first order transport didn't really need to have the wheels to give the hover effect, as the transport flies rather than hovers. Kylo Ren's ship goes without saying of course. Otherwise, I believe they've done a fine job with the wave, along with the upcoming sets. Sorry if I'm late to the party. One question: does anyone know if the speeder in the Resistance Battle Pack is a made up model, or if it's

Well, I believeLego was going for the animated look. Not necessarily bearing any resemblance to anyone, but in fact looking animate. Cartoonish, goofy-looking was their goal.- 8,446 replies

2015 was the first year that we got a summer wave not based on a movie. (2014 was the only other summer wave, consisting of GotG and an X-Men set) so there's not really much to go off of. However, I'd love to hear your ideas for the deadpool set in the Wishlists forum! -

^ Wow! That is really cool, I wonder if they'll keep the reboot set in that theme, or liscence it as the new reboot individually. This is probably a sign that it will be a continuation of the theme. -
Beautiful, it bears a striking resemblance sometimes not found in MOCs. Great job!
