  1. We did not get the pre-order, only the June promotion with purchases of $75+. Yeah, no kidding. The set is a great one for its price and contents, and is very popular. My Target is just about sold out and my WalMart had one left yesterday.
  2. I do agree with Oky, this year was a fantastic year for moviegoers, fans, and the Box Office alike. I loved films like Furious 7, Kingsman:TSS, Avengers: AoU, Jurassic World, Ant-mNa, Mockingjay: Part II, and Star Wars: TFA. Those were just the films I've already seen. I enjoyed every one of them, from the Jurassic reboot/sequel to the end of Marvel's Phase 2. I believe next year could be better, with Batman v Suoerman, Deadpool, Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: Apocalypse, Suicide Squad, Doctor Straneg, Finding Dory, The Jungle Book, Independence Day: Resurgence, not Ghostbusters , and many more! We live in a great time. Not to mention all of the Lego sets produced on the films this past year! Personally my favorite was SW: TFA, given Mr. Abramms film's feeling of completion and total commitment to the original trilogy and preceding saga. However, others like Jurassic World and Avengers were fantastic in their own ways, whether it was nostalgia or fandom and the fun thrills they gave viewers, plus the amazing special effect, also found in many other films last year, such as Star Wars.
  3. Very menacing! You should have another on the other shoulder with a halo on its head.
  4. I agree with you about the Super Hero Airport Battle. It looks fantastic, the tower looks like a very good build, and of course....Giant Man! The Quinjet looks pretty good, with the rifts in its armor, even if we haven't seen the source material. The minifigure selection is stupendous, especially for that price set, and with new variations of characters that are mostly improvements, such as War Machine and Scarlet Witch, and new character Agent 13, the set does not leave much to be desired, unlike its counterparts. I personally like the Crossbones Hazard Heist and the Black Panther Pursuit, but they could be a bit more fullfilling. Edit: Milano has to be my top favorite Marvel set, if not a close second! So the ship isn't exactly on par, especially if the majority of the inside is used for the lowering rope winch.
  5. Oh!!! I didn't even notice that the wings still don't fold! That is so bad! Just trust him, it's what he does that matters, not how he does it. Plus, those with sources aren't allowed to disclose.
  6. Ah, blast to the past. Good job making the Firehouse even more nostalgic.
  7. Correct; I'm saying that it may be that way for Europe, and the U.S. may get the qualification promotional. Edit: Not saying, hoping!
  8. Here's the shuttle: Just follow the link, you won't have to log in or anything. It looks pretty good, but.....it's still in dark grey! Come one Lego!!!
  9. Does that apply to Ep. III, or is it an Imperial one?
  10. Just in the UK/ Europe though, right? Because here in the US, we always get "with qualifying purchases" promos, for things such as May the Fourth celebrations and new set releases. (such as Ewok Village or the Helicarrier). The polybag is redeemable throughout purchases within the theme.
  11. True, they could design it such as they did with the exploding one back in 2001. But this is all just soeculation, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.
  12. I could see them doing a top section with the library/study with descending poles using the new fire pole piece from the GBHQ. They could design that part such as they did the TMNT Turtles' Lair in 2013.
  13. I'm sure we'll see Boba Fett coming, and probably Chewbacca and Maul. However, I'm not sure about C-3PO, as they're being marketed as "battle-action figures"
  14. I like the way you did the window blinds! Cool vigintete build.
  15. Woah, Mr. Freeze is a poly? That's new, kind of wrong considering he wouldn't be put into any other sets beisides this. Is it a month long promo or just with that set?
  16. Sorry, I thought he was talking about the original catalog ones. These are a bit better.
  17. There's a 2015 set forum for these things, man. Otherwise, there's also a recent buys forum you could just post the deal in. Thanks, this isn't the first time so I just wanted to let you know.
  18. We got official, higher-res pictures. http://brickset.com/article/18530/official-captain-america-civil-war-images-revealed
  19. Not to mention, though it'd make no difference, the Starkiller Base is at least ten times bigger than the Death Star.
  20. Yikes! No way, that'd be an utter disappointment! And just low on Lego's behalf.
  21. There is already a thread on this, contact a mod. And yes, there is a reboot set coming.
  22. We got Helicarrier pics about four weeks through last January for a release on Feb. 17th. I expect them a bit earlier, unless there's an embargo on the images.
  23. Price is approx. $160-$200, in the same range as the last two DC Comic Super Heroes D2Cs. (Arkham Asylum Breakout & The Tumbler)
  24. Oh? Did not know that. Hopefully no more plain humans. (though Poe was pretty good, IMO)
  25. Okay, so here they are. May 4, 2016 will bring a new UCS Hoth Echo Base. There will be either a UCS Starkiller Base or another Death Star, sources believe it's the latter. (No word on it being a playset or a model) Lastly, UCS Snowspeeder is coming, as confirmed by its inclusion in the Brickset database.
