  1. Indeed. The hub is right at the back of the cabin. It has to be there so that the motor in the rear half can connect to it.
  2. Cuz I realized this thing is better than a mere part pack
  3. I've bought this set and 42009 lately. This set brings a better play experience than 42009 does, as I like the feeling of turning the knobs. And all the functions work more smoothly. I have a slight dislike with the winch. It rotates counter to the winch drum, so if I want to lower the winch I will have to rotate it upward.
  4. What kinds of models would use the XL LAs? Im trying to speculate where that part will appear next. Excavators. We already have the 42100. Cranes, of course. Didn't expect haulers to have them as well. Reach stacker. Anything else?
  5. For the Bugatti, at least there was a teaser pic with new rims and new parts. This time there is nothing. First leaked pic was on May 16th 2018. Funny back then people said it's a photoshopped picture of a diecast model. And I thought the black patches were big gaps. Oh how wrong we were.
  6. You can insert a 20z bevel gear instead and there should be enough space for it to mesh with a 12z half gear.
  7. TLG seems to use the XL LAs for flagships now, so Im hoping for a reach stacker with Unimog tyres that use those LAs.
  8. I think the tail and the rudders will give us 5x11 tapered panels in DBG.
  9. - What's 42113's official name? - Prey. Awe's Prey. /jamesbondstyle
  10. You get a license! You get a license! You all get a license!!
  11. Is it just me, or does Bricklink load significantly slower these days?
  12. It's more like a modified tractor to me.
  13. Besides, a forwarder isn't big enough to warrant the Claas wheels. Models with Claas or Unimog wheels in real life have a wheel diameter of 1.8 meter or above. A 8x8 Tatra truck is more suitable. And an RC all-terrain mobile crane would be a good model for 8 Unimog wheels.
  14. I think the mining truck will be reserved for another A model flagship, possibly 5 years later. It may have a Volvo license, or a Liebherr one,
  15. This is exactly what I've been wondering for the past few days. The Porsche wheel arch is too squarish, and adding a 3x13 curved panel on top only makes the design more bulky.
  16. I think the new left and right 3x13 panels will be used in the roof. The middle part can be the normal 3x13 panel, or maybe a new type: 3x13 with tapers on both sides.
  17. As the Porsche and Bugatti came with new parts that overcame the limits of Technic of their times and broadened the scope of possibilities, I think the Lambo will do the same. That leads me to pose the question: what are the current limits of Technic supercar functions at the moment? These are what I came up with: - Sagging suspensions. Since the Ducati has a new pair of springs I expect to see them in the Lambo. - Engine size. 2L standard engine blocks are too bulky in some cases. Corvette engines are not realistics and dont work well in other cases. So the Lambo can introduce a kind of medium size engine block. - Brake calipers. The Lambo can introduce some kind of soft part to make working calipers that dont damage the brake discs. As the Bugatti already introduce the part that allows a compact 8 speed gearbox, I dont think there's any limits left with the gearbox. Any ideas of other limits for the Lambo to overcone with new, specialized parts?
  18. What if this thing is not a Sian but a Terzo Millenio?
  19. Or they can do it like 0.5L offset + 1L cranks + 1L cranks + 0.5L offset
  20. I suspect that as well. Maybe the new engine block will come in the shape of 3 studs for 2 cylinder holes.
  21. A V12 with the proper engine blocks will take up a whopping length of 14 studs.
