  1. If there's a new 12z clutch gear, what are the ways to make it mesh with the driving ring?
  2. What if TLG deliberately gave the suspensions in 42056 and 42083 poor treatment so that there can be something to improve upon? There's not gonna be any progress if you went all out and gave your best in a single product right?
  3. 1 vote to the island! So back to the topic, there's still this nagging question I posed from the beginning of the thread: What can TLG do to up the game in terms of technical functions/capabilities of supercar now? 42056 trailblazed the whole supercar line with wheel arches and gear box. 42082 upped the game with the orange wavy gear changer. 42115 will....???
  4. Hah, I told chu guys, the front art is put to the back. Now who was is that said the box is fake just because the former front isn't at the front anymore?
  5. "And for the next supercar, we partner with Tesla to demonstrate the inner workings of a supercapacitor battery with Lego parts!" - said no TLG ever.
  6. Which automobile group can TLG partner with next?
  7. 1 vote for that guy to go to the island! ("To the island" means "banned" in my language)
  8. The box is fake. Move along people, nothing to see here. We just fell victims to fraud. No biggie.
  9. These are the brands that VW Group owns. 4 have appeared in Lego Technic. Im not sure the remaining ones are supercar brands. The next supercar may come from another automobile group.
  10. Since the production for the last supercars takes generally 2 years, I suspect that as we are discussing the Lamborghini right now talks are already underway for the next one. And a clue for the next supercar lies in the surge of a certain color. 2015: 42038 in Orange 2016: 42048 and 42052 in Orange 2017: 42070 in Dark Azure 2018: 42074 and 42077 in Dark Azure, and 42079 in Dark Blue 2019: Nothing in Lime though 2020: 42102, 42103, 42105 in Lime This year we see the surge of a new color: Light Orange/Flame Orange (42099's color). So the next car may have this color. However, any speculation is too early at this point because a supercar's dominant color only surges in the year or one year before the year that supercar is released.
  11. My guess for the design of the box is that the lid will be the bottom face this time. So what we're seeing is the actual front face of the box. But we need to flip it around to lift the lid-back face.
  12. Can we not the derail the topic with discussions about the necessity of inner color coding please
  13. The 42056 exaggerates the crevice in the middle of the hood and the roof, but this one doesn't do so for the roof. :(
  14. Im most troubled with the roof. There was just a sense that the new left and right 3x13 curved panels are gonna appear on the roof as well. And now it only has flat 5x11 panels.
  15. The first post has been updated with the latest image. Go nuts!!
  16. I told chu guys the next supercar is gonna be lime!!! There was a post back then about 42105, in which i talked about the surge of Dark Azure before the release of Bugatti, and this year there have been a lot of lime parts. I think @Maaboo35 dismissed my theory as nonsensical.
  17. I just have the feeling that there must be a new wheel arch piece for the front wheel. Here are the side view of 42056 and the real Sian side by side. The standard Porsche wheel arch in the front wheel is just too squarish, and the slant at the front isn't as steep as that in the real Sian. Even a 3x13 curved panel on top of the wheel arch can't convey the curves in the real Sian.
  18. What's the transmission like in the real Sian? 4WD or 2WD? Central diff or no central diff? How many gears?
  19. I do really hope for a new round wheel arch piece. The old piece just doesn't fit. If it uses the old piece, the curve will probably be recreated with either a flex axle or a curved 3x13 panel. Neither of that captures well the curve in the real car.
