Hello, and welcome to my profile page. I have a room full of LEGO town, railway, space, Doctor Who & other assorted sets / MOCs / MODs. I built my town featuring these MODs of sets: Medieval Market Village, Town Plan, Diagon Alley, World City / CITY, and Trains.

  1. Thank you @LEGO Train 12 Volts!
  2. I don't think so, no. (But I'm not sure.)
  3. I've been (very) slowly working at sorting and organizing my collection with help from family for a few years, so no, sorting never ends.
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks @Ultimatum!
  5. I agree 149 needs to be modernized @davidek_20. I redid the set back in mid-2019 as a OCTAN branded two-bay diesel refueling depot, as seen above with my ATSF Bluebonnet F7 diesels from 7 years ago.
  6. No problem @Sheps! Your MOC looks fantastic by the way!
  7. BBCode is no longer supported, if I remember correctly, and hasn't been for a while. Just letting you know @Sheps.
  8. Probably about as much chance as the entire Holiday Special does in getting onto Disney+.
  9. As I said on Brickset: The Jumanji film gave me nightmares as a kid - and I still can't re-watch it to this day due to several scenes. So, it's safe to say I won't be buying that set - no way, no how. If they ever did another Chris Van Allsburg based project, I want a Polar Express set. Hopefully one day, the bell will ring true for all of us and LEGO will give us that iconic 2-8-4.
  10. Henry is green with red lining, but the stripes are so small i can't do them in Lego without stickers. Thus, in my version he is just plain green. Hope this answers your question @Modeltrainman!
  11. @Satisfied 'Official' info comes in mid / late December or sometime around then when press releases come out. Leaks are getting hard to find, but they *usually* come out around October / November I think. (Can't remember exactly, and with TLG tightening the leash, nothing might leak for all we know!)
  12. Here we see Henry the green engine running along the line pulling the Flying Kipper fish train, as seen in the Railway Series books and Thomas and Friends TV show. This train consists of five goods vans filled with fresh fish, and a break van for the conductor. Before anyone says anything: Yes, I know Henry is in his post-accident shape, which is inaccurate for the specific story that introduces the Flying Kipper train. However, as Henry regularly pulls the Kipper after his rebuild, this isn't really a issue. To create Henry in his latter form from the Thomas and Friends TV show / The Railway Series books, I took set 76423 (Hogwarts Express and Hogsmeade Station) and modified it quite a bit. I revised the boiler design, added two plates to the cab height, devised working pistons, up-sized the front bogies' wheels, and changed around the tender a tiny amount. Recently I rebuilt his front bogie to be a bit shortened in length, along with the area around the headlamps also being shortened. The rear of the tender, which now features a sliding center wheelset, which makes it much easier to roll compared to the old, fixed-in-place 4.5v / 12v era wheels I originally used. The doors on the five identical goods vans can open to load things inside. Just a regular British break van from back in the days of steam. There's not much else to say about it, really... Thoughts?
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks @aims20! The pictures were probably deleted at the host site or the hosting site itself is gone... I know MOCpages had it's plug pulled circa 2019, so maybe they were there? The original user hasn't been on since 2023, so we can't ask them what happened.
  14. Yep, I try to give all my Lego train working side rods and pistons. (if they have them visible!) Thanks again @LEGO Train 12 Volts!
