I'll be honest, I don't care if their helmets do get stuck on their heads. There's very few situations I'd want to display them without their helmets on.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

After seeing the new Harry Potter sets, I like the look of the way the minifigures can hold there wand - straight up or pointing out in front due to the pommel on the end. Would love to see this as an addition to lightsabers - surely we're due a new mold? -
Decided to get the whole family together.

The height came from the images of the Hasbro version... And was also decided by the size of a 4x4 round plate cos that was the first piece I picked up for the foot when I started building! There are lots of images of the Hasbro version (which isn't totally screen accurate here https://www.flickr.com/gp/richpepperell101/2u84m8

One set sorely missing from the Solo range is the AT-DT walker. I love walker, so I thought I'd knock one up! Unfortunately, official images are pretty scarce and the Solo edition of the usually excellent visual guides is a bit of a let down. Therefore I used some good images of a Hasbro toy as a reference, which I now realise is a bit inaccurate, so some more changes will follow. I'm pretty please with the legs which have 4 points of articulation, so plenty of possibility.

Definitely an interesting development. The level of detail on the Harry Potter figures is outstanding, as are the new molds. It just makes me want a Star Wars series more. I know all about the historical issues surrounding Star Wars CMF, I just can't believe that there's no chance of negotiating this, especially with the relative popularity of action figures nowadays. I'd have thought Disney and Lego would be pushing for it.

I love the little furry collars on the range troopers and the gunner! -

From the main image Brother Brick are using (with the blue background), there appear to be an awful lot of gaps in that shuttle. Behind the cockpit, behind the dorsal fin, and that's before you even look at the weird side gap. I think there might be a lot of work to do on this one to get it looking near screen accurate. -

I saw them in the visual guide index and it looks to me like they're the same two actors. I know they've got different names in those photos but... Anyway, this is totally non-lego chat so I'll leave it now. -

The imperials in your photo are actually Tag and Bink! It's in the Solo visual guide. -

Yeah, found it as soon as I commented. Love the fact they've got a bottle of wine breathing on the sideboard... -

Haven't seen the both box anywhere, none of my usual places. Any pointers? -
I'm loving the technician and shuttle pilot arms, but I'm not so sure about the stormtroopers. It would be a big payment for all my stormtroopers - I'm waiting to see some post a pic of a load of them to see how it looks. I don't know if it really adds to the look for me. Thanks for posting these.

I'm betting people are going to have some strong opinions in the opposite direction here - but I'm loving that new Chewie! Those goggles are hilarious! -
I think those new helmets look just as daft as the next man, but after watching ANH yesterday, I paid special attention to the helmets. They do actually look very similar to the new mold. I think we've all gotten use to the old helmets - on screen they actually look much to big and really round!

I always screenshot... I'm DM you. -
Loved Solo and loved the Lego sets too. Unfortunately it looks like L3-37 is unlikely to appear in minifigure form, so I had a quick go at a brick built effort. I literally spent a few minutes to get this (although I had been "head-building" it all day. Half an hour of tinkering afterwards and I was still happiest with this design. I did a version with more white (head, arms etc) but the LBG looked better. I also like the fact she has waist articulation. She's a little tall, but at this scale I'm fairly happy. Would love to see other people's versions of the character.

Anyone have a photo of a load of stormtroopers with the printed firestar arms? I'm about to get a load, but worry that they'll look too 'busy' and break up the white if their armour too much.

He looks good, would have liked rhe helmeted version too. I know minifigures pop up in funny sets sometimes, but the hauler is definitely a weird place for him to be. -
After seeing the movie, I think the length of you Han's speeder is probably more accurate than the official set. It's a lot stubbier than I thought it was going to be.

I love this as I'm in the middle of something along these lines myself. I'm really looking forward to the visual guide next week for some more shots of Corellia. Good work!

My biggest problem with the new helmets is the lack of a chin strap on the heads. Maybe we could have had a double sided head - one side with and one side without the strap. It just looks like something's missing. -

Could an American please confirm when 'fall' is? I thought these were coming in August - is that summer or fall in the US? -
