He definitely looks like these guys, but what about the helmet? Surely the Rebel helmet from the U-Wing is pretty much identical?

Sorry to derail the endless discussion of cloud city, but I've just seen this article that mentions a TIE Interceptor coming this summer. For me, the biggest update needed for scout troopers is the helmet! Desperateneed of some printing or dual molding around the mouth part.

Me too, but I spy some inconsistencies in uniform. What do folk think for the following: Imperial ground crew - imperial symbol clearly seen on arm... definitely order arms. Imperial gunner - majority of images show imperial symbol on the arm whether it's the jumpsuit style or leather style uniform. When watching ANH however, I didn't spot the symbol at any point during the Death style firing sequence... definitely arms. Imperial shuttle pilot - the imperial symbol doesn't appear to be present on anyone actually piloting a shuttle But all these dudes lined up on the Death Star clearly have the symbol... arms for some, not for others? Imperial naval trooper/ death star trooper - guys wearing tunic style uniform never seem to have a symbol, but guys wearing jumpsuits with naval helmet do have symbol... arms for jumpsuits, not for tunics? AT ST pilot - definitely have imperial symbol, but are missing the control panel bit - arms or not? Either way, it's a wallet buster!

Oh good grief, that's going to cost me a fortune!

Local Toymaster (UK) had all the new wave of sets except the TIE and Falcon today. The shop always seems to have sets out early so I thought it was worth a small detour to check it out. Picked up the Solo Battlepack and both Solo speeders.

I actually watched rogue one today and thought "there's that guy with the bed pan on his head... Again". I know the imperial uniforms are renowned for there inconsistencies, but I'm convinced there's some method behind the madness. I'm going to keep digging.

Does anyone know the in-universe canon reason for the variation in uniforms of Impetial Naval Troopers? I have a few spare torso and legs from the recent Lego comic imperial shuttle pilot and the upcoming battlepack offers the helmet on the emigration officer. I want to kno w exactly what I’d be making!

Firstly, those firestar imperial arms look amazing and are going to cost me a fortune - especially if they also bring out grey ones! Secondly, can anyone suggest a source for dual molded black (top half) and red (bottom half) legs? The best I can find is the TMNT foot soldier ones, but they’re far from ideal. The new Incredibles ones would be perfect if they were the other way up!

Couple of reviews for new sets up on YouTube from MandR. Hans speeder looks a really nice build - day one purchase I reckon.

Definitely have to keep a close eye on this. Don't want to miss out as I never managed to get the shoretrooper.

Dutch Vander figure is on eBay in the UK. Nice helmet but maybe arm printing would be nice for a UCS minifigure.

Plenty of pictures of the new falcon from @justinlasalata on Twitter. Other sets too.

Admittedly that big red wall looks a bit dodgy, but I don't think the image is good enough to form a strong opinion on the set. There could be allsorts so goodness in there that you can't make out.

Sunny day in the void has got to be the all-time worst episode of Clone Wars... ever. They literally all just trundle around a totally featureless environment with the tedium just being interrupted by Gascon, the galaxy's most irritating frog. If they are producing a set based on this, maybe they'll they'll include an enormous grey baseplate to act as realistic Abafar terrain! All that said, I'd love a Borkus minifigure.

Of all the unnecessary changes in the special editions, changing the officers rank insignias would actually have made sense!
