LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

I meant compared to Revan who was totally unexpected and so desirable to some fans, Yularen wasn't that great of a choice honestly. -

I completely agree with you! Why is everybody so eager to get Luke as May 4th promo? I mean he's obviously going to be big part of Ep 8, and he is already first character seen in that promotional video almost 2 years before movie comes out! If that doesn't tell you how important he will be for new movie, I don't know what will. We can surely expect to see Luke minifigure in at least 2 sets for Ep 8. Can't everyone wait 1,5 years to get him?! I was really surprised when they announced Revan as May 4th promo in 2014, I never expected his minifigure! I hope Lego will surprise us this year , just not with another dissapointment as Yularen was. -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

Hero goes all my hopes that Quinjet will have some interior! New one lacks interior just like 2015 one, and its sacrificed for a gimmicky play feature once again. Uhh... The minifigs look good and Giant man is fantastic, but the rest of the sets is meh at best. At least tower will fit in City airport of you want it to. This wave of Superheroes sets really lacks good builds. At least in AoU sets we had great build in Hulkbuster set and good display set in Avengers Tower. -

You are right, I just noticed that too. That's really strange that front of the box shows him without leg printing though. But there's hope he will have leg printing after all. If only they had minifigs on display this would have cleared the confusion. -

Just noticed that Hobgoblin has angry face on the back of the box. Nice!!! The more I see of this set the more I like it! Btw Hobgoblin's glider looks neat, and it doesn't have stud shooters! -
Oh, sorry then. They looked so identical I thought they were the same.

Did anyone notice that Flama and Magmar look different in Ultimates sets than they do in Siege Machine set? It's especially noticeable on Flama. This us weird to me ,since Beast Master and Lavaria look exactly the same in in Ultimates and regular sets.

Actually he had leg printing in polybag last year, and I can't understand why they didn't use that piece instead. Also Black Panther is the one who really needed leg printing to be consistent with highly detailed head and torso printing. -

I think it's obvious that build itself isn't the main draw of this set, minifigs are. Prison guard is meh, but Stone warrior, prison Zane and Soto are very desirable minifigs at least for me. And it's always nice to get extra Kai! -

Yeah lack of leg printing is puzzling me too. The one used before would have worked fine with new printing too. -

Lego is really cheap with minifigs design in CW sets( except War machine and Scarlet Witch). Don't tell me they couldn't have made printed legs for Bucky and Panther, this minifigs look inconsistent without keg printing(especially Panther). And why Star Lords face? Couldn't they make a new one? Is it really soo expensive? I doubt it. -

Just saw close ups of Vaders TIE's cabin and it looks same as Inquisitors one from 2015. Still uses droids body as control stick, and doesn't seem to have any stickers or control panel pieces. Also new Tie look like it uses 2015 ones main cockpit part and builds up on it to make it appropriately bigger. Seems like some modifications are in order! -

I love all summer Spider man sets, especially Hobgoblin one, since he is one of my favorite Spidey villains. Shame nobody took pictures of the other face expression. Bridge battle set at 100$ is a great deal , and supervillians minifigs are great. Love new Goblin face( looks like he is completely nuts, which he is) , arm printing is a welcome addition as well. Scorpion has completely new piece for his tail, definitely better than what I thought they used for his tail. And Kraven looks good too, and this reused face looks good on him, so no complaints there. -
ok 50$ sounds reasonable enough to me. Great looking set and minifigs. Definitely worth this price

I'm pretty sure it's new version of Vaders helmet, torso and lack of leg printing are bugging me though it took Lego 14 years to make Vader with both great torso and leg printing and now they threw it out of the door. -
Anyone knows what's the price of Magmar's Siege Machine of Doom (love that name)?

Vader's torso is definitely different from the one in last years Death Star Duel set. Looks more Rebels style to me. Not sure I like it though. Sabine looks great, and her outfit is accurate to season 2 of Rebels. Tarkin looks better then last one we've gotten, but his outfit should be grey instead of sand colored. -

Phew, prices are a bit better than I expected. Definitely buying Encounter on Jakku now! Vaders TIE is still kinda overpriced but I wanted an updated Sabine and Vaders TIE advanced, so nothing changed and I'm still buying it. Rex's AT-TE is the most overpriced set of them all but at 120 $ it's a better value, so I will buy it as well. -

Brickset still has it at 80$, which is awful price, but at 60$ I'll gladly buy it -

Straight from NYTF: 75157 Rex's AT-TE has 972 pcs, I'm not so sure it's 120$ now. 100$ sounds more reasonable. Also Encounter on Jakku has 530 pcs, not such good value for 80$ indeed. -

Black Panther looks amazing! Printing all over his head , now it makes sense why Lego didn't make new helmet mold for him, but he definitely lacks leg printing though. I like that Cap has unmasked face, but does he have to smile? Smile doesn't look like it suits CW movie, and other side of his head is even worse! I was hoping his head would have angry expression, but instead it has weird angry/confused expression. Uhhh... And nothing to say about Winter Soldier- good torso, but why Star Lords face?! I know that making new molds is expensive for Lego, but why exactly can't they make new face print? -

So it's NY Toy Fair today, and finally we'll get some good quality pics and videos of upcoming sets! Really curious about Vaders TIE Advanced set , Rex's AT-TE and Encounter on Jakku( finally some clarification on sets price). Can't wait! -
I believe he said that Mostrox is the most powerful monster in the Book, so powerful in fact that even the BoM is afraid of it.

I'm kinda disappointed that this set is just a combination of every Hoth set released in last 5-6 years. Sure it's a good way for people who just got in Lego SW, to catch up on all Hoth sets, but I was hoping it would be a real Echo base! So yeah, not interested in this set personally, but I'm happy for people who wanted to catch up on Hoth sets.
