  1. Just bought Battle on Takodana set, and it was a lot more interesting to build than I expected. The entrance to Maz Kanata's castle looks really sweet, though I wish there were more banners in the set. Minifigures are outstanding: Maz herself, maskless Kylo and Finn in cheaper set, 2 stormies are nice addition to the set as well, especially the famous one with shock staff( if you've seen that movie you know what I mean). Nice set, but really overpriced! Also bought couple FO Battlepacks and a Resistance Battlepack. Both are great sets, Resistance troopers helmets are really great design, but stud shooters need to go! They look really awkward in the sets.
  2. yeah this price is way too much for 409 pieces, even 45$ would have been better and more fair price. I mean even Resistance Transport is a bigger set and is better priced one. I fear that all sets based on new SW movies will be overpriced just like Force Friday wave of sets. I mean we all are going to still buy them because we love both SW and Lego, so we will have to accept that new sets will be overpriced, even if we don't like it. At least sets based on previous 6 movies will be priced normally.
  3. Just2good brings us great news once again! I think Encounter on Jakku set will be based ..."OOPS! I should have put this all in a spoiler because I give away a bit of info in my post from the movie. Sorry all!" I should have spoilered this too, better to be safe than sorry!
  4. Don't think that hype for Rogue One will reach the level of TFA. I mean it's not a main Episode movie, it's a spinoff , so that will probably throw some people off from the get go. Also I think Lego realizes this and won't make as much sets as they did with TFA, I'd say 3-4 is our best bet. Instead Lego will definitely focus on Ep 8 sets which will probably come out in January 2017. I mean pretty much everyone is looking forward to Ep 8 after cliffhanger ending of TFA.
  5. Wow these Civil War sets look awesome, and I thought nothing could distract me from Star Wars today! First the Airport set, another Juinjet, albeit a smaller one, I am not impressed, the minifigures on the other hand are great, except for Iron Man and Cap since they have their AoU costumes. NEW War Machine in black! How about that! Although I will have to replace stud shooter on his shoulder , I love him! New outfit and hair for Scarlet Witch- great addition. Brick build Giant Man- cool, Agent 13, why is she there? Black Panther Jet is kinda cool looking, but he uses Dart Mauls head piece instead of new mask. Why is Lego so lazy that they don't want to make a new mold for Black Panther? He will be appearing in many MCU movies, it's an investment in quality! Cap with hair piece and Bucky are nice additions to this set. Crossbones set looks generic: lame jeep buy has great minifig in Falcon , and Black Widow is the same as AoU correct? Overall a nice variety of sets, but some minifigures lack desired improvements( Cap in having helmet, instead of printed head, Iron Man having Bleeding Edge printed arms, and Panther having new mold for a mask.
  6. After seeing TFA, all sets suddenly make sense, and most Importantly we know why Luke isn't in one of the sets. Now I wonder what will be in summer TFA sets. I guess FO Star Destroyer Finalizer makes sense( 2014 one will be retired by then). Maybe even Starkiller base interior. Can't wait till NY toy fair to see what sets will come out.
  7. 60$ for battle on Takodana? 400 something piece set is 60$! That's ridiculous overpricing on Lego and Disneys part. I mean it's even worse than TIE Fighter costing 70$ with 500 pieces. And it seems that only TFA sets are getting ridiculous prices , while OT and PT sets have more appropriate prices aroun 10 cents per piece . I just hope it won't become new 'thing' for Lego to overprice sets based on new movies.
  8. it's already been said a couple of times, Lego decided to give us old Mk7 version of Iron Man for cheap. And it's great!
  9. Minifigs wise I think we will get Tony and Cap, since none of these guys appear in other sets. And we were told Cap would be in 2 sets . And Iron Man is most popular Lego Marvel minifigure so he has to be in at least 1 set, right?
  10. Wow these final pics are so much better than originals, looks like Lego really improved original models and they look much better! To me most noticeable change is Tiger Widow Island is the best improvement. I mean the temple on top of main island is much more detailed and a bit bigger than before. But Jays dragon isn't as good as it looked in earlier version of the set, especially the head, it looked much better before. But the 2 stars of this wave are Misfortune Keep and Raid Zeppelin. Zeppelin is just so cool and unique looking vehicle, and all 3 minifigures in the set are just amazing! Misfortune Keep where to even start with this set? The minifigs are amazing 3 ninja, Nadakhan who is the best Ninjago villain minifig ever! So I am going to say it's my personal favorite set of Ninjago ever! I just hope it's 80$ as expected, but I will gladly pay 100$ for it.
  11. Nice find. I think this images already appearing on Amazon is just a beginning and soon we will have images of all Skybound sets. Also just saw new shoulder pad from the back and looks really cool , 2 swords on 1 side is definitely nice addition to Ninja accessories . Btw what's it with spring shooter in dragon set? I didn't see anywhere it could fit in a set, so perhaps dragons mouth?
  12. Minifigures in old set really need an update. Lego has improved minifig quality since 2008. Plus some play features might be updated with new stud shooters and flick fire misiles. And they are probably going to make whole construction more stable. For me it's going to be great if they only update minifigs of the set, but they are more likely to redesign it a bit.
  13. hug one of these guys! But seriously personally I can't wait to see those sets myself!
  14. I think J2g or Cms has said that there will be Rebels only wave in March. That will be our best chance to get new Inquisitors and older Ahsoka.
  15. Nice build! Makes me wonder why Lego haven't rebooted the Adventures theme. I mean if they launch tv show along with new sets I am sure the theme will be just as popular as Ninjago. Plus AFOLs like me will rush out to buy these theme.
  16. Finally prices for January wave have been revealed! Love that this wave seems to be cheaper than Ghost wave in the summer, and I like all the sets, except for Jays Dragon( I just don't like his dragon for some reason). As for the sets probably gonna get Misfortune Keep and Raid Zeppelin first then buy the rest of the sets later.
  17. This list of sets seems to be too good to be true. 13 minifigs in 1200 piece set? Seriously man if you want to make fake list of sets at least make it seem believable. The only one of these 'leaked' sets I can kinda believe is Duel of Fates , if it's done in a way of Death Star Final Duel. But minifig count of 7 is too high to be true. So 'NO' to this list.
  18. New HD pics are sweet and reveal more details about the sets. Like that Resistance transporter has enough interior space to fit all resistance soldiers from Battlepack or make it more battle ready. It's a shame the set only has 2 troopers by itself, but most of us were planning on getting Battlepacks anyway. Battle on Takodana keeps getting better with every image ! Like Kylo's face it has this Sith like shadows under eyes, just like Anakin had in 2012 sets. And even playfeatures are pretty solid.
  19. In no way am I saying it's easy to make some existing vehicle/ building etc. in Lego form, but they created some great models in the past and these 2 sets just don't look good at all. That's all I am trying to say.
  20. I mean they designed this 2 monstrositys of a Sub and Avenjet, so they are to blame. When set is good people will say it's good, but when we get something awful like Avenjet just a year after we got cool, sleek , futuristic Quinjet, it's their fault. I think Avenjet might be worst superhero line set ever. I mean even 2013 Ultimate showdown wasn't as bad as this one!
  21. All I am trying to say, don't expect Rogue One to have as many sets as TFA . TFA is a major movie that furthers Skywalker family story, while Rogue One is a spinoff. Also Ep 8 comes out in May 2017 so expect January 2017 wave to be mostly Ep 8 sets. Sure Rogue One will probably get 3-4 sets in September 2016, but have no doubt Legos main focus will be Ep8 sets.
  22. I doubt that Rouge One will have that many sets to include Battlepack. Its anthology movie not an Ep movie. I think most we can expect from this movie 3-4 sets like with last years GoTG sets.
  23. Just like I thought before Avenjet set looks awful! I agreed with people saying it has that 90s Lego feel, and it just doesn't fit superhero theme . Just look at this years Quinjet, looks really sleek and modern( even though it lacks interior) . But Avenjet looks too studded, and outdated. Minifigs are nice especially Iron Man and Thanos. And does Cap finally get dark red shield , or is it the pictures that make it look this way? So if I end up buying this set, maybe on sale later in 2016, I won't even build the jet, just minifigs.
  24. wow I am surprised that all normal sized sets have around 230 pieces each and cost 30€. Although it probably because European prices are bigger than US. I expect all these sets (75135-75138, 75141) to cost 25$ in US.
  25. Yes , one of the Stormtroopers has a new shock staff with him, even though it looks like a reverse blaster rather than proper shock staff.
