Not sure how I feel about this set, it looks like beefed up spinjitsu arena from 2011 line. Minifigures are ok, Yang is cool to see in cheaper set, his ghost students are passable. Airjitsu versions of Lloyd and Nya aren't really that great to me, since I didn't like Airjitsu minifigures from last years flyers. So definitely not a set for me, there are definitely much better sets in summer wave, but I can see a lot of kids liking this set. -

Honestly I don't understand why would Lego mold flame piece to Ghost Riders head, wouldn't it actually make it more expensive to make? Plus Green Goblin in Bridge set has pumpkin bomb with this same flame piece, is it attached too? If it's not attached, Ghost Riders head mold makes even less sense. -

Just saw Brickshows review of Clone Turbo Tank, and I am so dissapointed by this set! I had high hopes for its after seeing out of the box pictures, but this set is lackluster to say the least. No interior and red steering wheel!!! What was Lego thinking? Also the amount of minifigures is horrible: 4 minifigures (2 new) and 2 battle droids. That's a norm for 110$ set now? The Kashyyyk troopers Battlepack from 2014 is discontinued, why exactly they couldn't include 2 more clones, especially for such overpriced set? The only good thing about this set are 2 Jedi : Luminara and Quilan, but even 2 great minifigures can't justify buying this overpriced set. Before reviews came out I though At-Te was crappy and CTT was great, but now my opinion changed 360 degrees. At-Te now seems like worthy set. -

Fith Brother in At-Te set is a great minifigure, so much detail and looks awesome! The set itself also looks awesome, but it has 2 negatives. Amount of minifigures( if they included Zeb , Chopper and 2 more Stormtroopers then 120 $ price point would have been easier to swallow), and the price itself are 2 main negatives of this set. So I'm probably going to wait till price drops 10-20$ and then buy it at much more fair price. -

That's one weird vehicle! I don't think this ship was in any Rebels episodes, which kinda dissapointed. Ahsoka looks cool, but her lightsabers are blue? Can't Lego give her proper white lightsabers? Ezra looks the same, no scar ? Kallus is also repeat, so that's dissapointing. Commander Sato looks ok, but 5 minifigures in 90-100$ set? Are you kidding me Lego? And no Seventh Sister in the set... So mixed feelings on this set. -

Brick Show just reviewed Vaders Tie Advanced vs A-Wing set. Really nice set: great minifigures , especially Sabine and Vader( who even has back printing). A-wing is the best version of this starfighter Lego has ever made. Vaders Tie is also good, but requires small modification to fold wings in. Overall best summer SW set, can't wait to get it. -

That's probably a lucky mistake. Lego usually doesn't give something like this as an extra, so Brick show probably lucked out. But the set itself is pretty bad in my opinion. It looks so small for a 60$ set! Unkar is the only reason to buy this set if you ask me. -

Well it's Lego's version of "water truck". But let's be honest, minifigures are clearly a selling point here, so build is kinda meh. But best version of Spidey alone makes this set a worthwhile purchase for me. -

This set is epic! Best version of Spidey to date, improved Vision with yellow Infinity stone! Another repeat of Cap, but that's ok. Great torso for Hawkeye, but why didn't they reuse his AoU head? The build is obviously Ant-Mans "water truck", which is great, but why didn't they include new Ant-man minifigure instead of repeat Cap? But overall I love this set! Kinda wish it wasn't retail exclusive though... -
Thanks for all suggestions, now I know which torsos to try.

DC Superheroes 2016 - Rumors and Discussion

leg printing is definitely the norm now, arm printing and dual molding- not so much. They happen once in awhile, but still pretty uncommon. As far as to why 3 minifigures with normal sized legs don't have printing, count me confused. I honestly don't understand why Lego can't give batman some leg printing, it doesn't have to be as detailed as Iron Man's, just some small details .- 8,446 replies

Does anyone has an idea what torso to use for Tony in suit? I like how President Buisness torso looks on Tony, but there has to be better fit.

I think Wonder Woman's head works great for Captain Marvel, but it's surely overused. Lego needs to make 5-10 generic female heads for licensed sets and stop usin WW head for almost every female minifigure.- 8,446 replies

This Ra's set is definitely the best summer DC set! Love the Lazarus Pit part, but Bat Buggy is unnecessary in my opinion. They should have used buggy so pieces to make bigger Lazarus pit area, but this is my only complaint about this set. Desert Batman looks good ( close up pics would be appreciated), Robin is good as well( Damien Wayne?), Talia & Ra's look awesome. Can't wait to get this set!- 8,446 replies

so Vader has smily face? Kinda dissapointed since it only suted him during his redemption on DS II. Was hoping for the same face as in 2014 Star Destroyer. -

I don't think it's possible to make molds for 3 creatures, maybe some molded parts, but for the most part they should probably be brick build. As for no build in the arena: 3 columns for Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padme, spectating balcony for Dooku, Jango and the rest of bad guys, entrance to the arena, maybe something to represent walls of arena. -

Seeing Acklay in a Lego magazine, makes me hopeful for Geonosis Arena set. That scene would make for such a great Lego set: 3 beasts, many Jedi, Count Dooku, Jango Fett, droids and Clone troopers. Even people who hate prequels wouldn't pass up the opportunity to get a lot of great minifigs. I mean that Geonosis scene would be a great UCS set, much better than do called UCS Hoth set... -

So can anyone confirm if Vader I n TIE set will have leg printing? Because newly released photos show him with no printing, but back of the box shows him with leg print. Kinda confused... -

These pics give me mixed feelings: cool versions of Luminara, Quinlan Vos, Tarkin( albeit in wrong uniform), Sabine (in season 2 outfit), Dengar,Gregor, Lor San Teka, Poe in jacket, Unkar, Fith Brother, Freemakers family looks ok. Other minifigs aren't that great: Vader(with no leg print), Rex(no blue on armor), Wolfe. So while I will definitely buy Vaders TIE fighter, I'm not sure about Rex's AT-TE anymore. Too expensive for what it offers, while build is good, it lacks cool details and more significant more minifigures vital to the set( Zeb, Agent Kallus, Ezra). I'm also considering new X-Wing set for great Lor San Teka minifig and Poe in jacket. Still while summer wave has some interesting sets, I feel like they saved the best sets for Rogue One. -

I really don't understand why stud shooters were made in a first place. They look so bad, they remind me of the time when Lego didn't create 3 blaster molds and they were using City megaphone piece with translucent stud. While I like stud shooters on spaceships as a play feature, I hate them being used as a blasters. So I hope Lego won't be using them in 2017 battlepacks. But who am I kidding, they will continue using them until accident with stud shooter will happen, and some parents will sue them to stop using stud shooters. -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
benderisgreat replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's true, but what I've noticed is that ever since battlepacks started using horrible stud shooters, it's been much more difficult to find medium sized blasters in regular sets. Nowadays medium sized blasters usually come with Stormtrooper minifigs, and occasionally with others as well. It looks like Lego purposefully made them kinda rare. If you look at all of 1st half of 2016 sets 4 sets had these blasters . Even UCS Hoty set( sort I'm beating dead horse here) has only 2 medium blasters! The rest are pistols and sniper rifles, which I find very weird.
