  1. Actually, kids DO dress up as Pirates and Knights, but it's more movie inspired then LEGO :D Allthough didn't LEGO sell children sized Knights Kindom swords? And what kid didn't play soldier? It never inspired me to become one..
  2. As has been said this discussion get's revived a few times a year by someone or another. But reading all of the posts there is a recurring theme 'all conflict in lego themes is fictional' ... well i beg to differ. Pirates vs. royal navy, battles actualy took place it's not something just out of the movies, theres nothing fictional about that.... Indians vs US Army, well i don't think need to mention Custers last stand..... Knights vs knight vs knights vs bandits Europe's history is filled with midevil warfare. TLG has done actual conflict themes. Just because they are historical doesn't mean they are fictional. My 2 cents on that. On a military theme, no i don't think they should. They could do individual vehicles as 'modelteam' builds like the Camel and Fokker Tri-Plane though.
  3. would either be Or Cool Moccing ops with that one :D
  4. I just peed my pants
  5. We did another LDD RCB? Just throwing it in there.. something to think about.... Maybe a Wild West town like the Midevil RCB, or a Pirate cove instead of the Imperial fort we did.... We did classic space, how about a Blacktron or Futuron base?
  6. Sweet... My current Desktop :P
  7. It's not 'just one ship', it's 'just one bloody awesome ship' I really, really love the design.
  8. Totally, bloody, AWESOME...... I'm buying 4 of these, do they come with Marines? or are they sold seperatly And thank you for my new desktop background
  9. My guess it's the long awaited dropship
  10. Wow, if Unity isn't good enough.. that game is gonna be massive..... Multiplayer i hope, and a good singleplayer storyline Is gonna look good on a CV, what company are you aiming for? Valve, EA, T2, Blizzard?
  11. Massivly stuning or stunningly massive Needs more guns and greebles though
  12. A month, i can work with that. IF i don't get sidetracked again
  13. Are you using an excisting game as a base/source engine or starting from scratch? A game is interesting, but i'm looking more forward to Lego sets
  14. Not only that, i'm not nearly finished
  15. Awesome. Where are these tires from though?
  16. I got mocked about my Lego addiction at work a lot till i brought a couple of models with me, 8258, 8043, 8070 and 8110. Now, they don't mock me anymore They were amazed at what Lego produces these days, they were stuck in the '80's i think
  17. I just finished building and driving it around a bit and all i can say it's AWESOME My only peeves are that it's a bit slow for my tastes and there is no. how do you say it 'gradients', it's either stop or go, no half speed, steering as wel, full or none, i'd like to have seen more control over the actual driving.
  18. Awesome, but the feet do look a bit feeble.
  19. Excelent looking triple changer
  20. Sounds like fun, i ordered a copy, though at 11 Euro's it's kinda expencive here in the Netherlands.
  21. In space, streamlining is just cosmetic... No air, no air resistance Just look at a Borg Cube
  22. Oh god yes. I have 32 gb ram, Intel 2 Quadcore and LDD still crashes around the 25k brick mark. I would so love to build models with a 100+k bricks
  23. Thanks, but... You ain't seen nothing yet Just wait till you see my HQ
  24. I didn't post in the aforementioned thread as the last post is almost a year old. So i though i'd start a new thread to get people thinking again, you know, kickstart the 'ol engine :P The post apoc thread is pretty much dead aswell.... I guess it's up to you old folk to start the engine again. To start up a poll, to keep the ball rolling, and to actually get it started. To do an RCB everyone can participate in, i'd say City theme, small village with 50-75 bricks per person as you say. I'm just here to poke people
