LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
BasOne replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Some great, some not so great, but as i'm collecting them all i'll be buying en entire box of 60 anyway, as i have done from S2 onwards -
I guess a lifeguard would have been handy in those days Very wel done, excelent detail and i just love those Sherman DD's.
-
Maybe they ditched AQ in favor of Nicks Space Marines One can hope.....

What is the "classic" Classic Space Minifig Color?
BasOne replied to Legoroni's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I think it would be Red AND White. As there is no 'first' set but a first series of sets, and the both have red and white minifigs. -
I love all entries so far But i'm a bit confused about the Spyrius one, this could be because English isn't my native language but, shouldn't a 'Drone' be unmanned? It seems to be more a manned infiltration mech then a 'Drone'.
-
Maybe we could get some female marines?
-
I need clean underwear I am so gonna buy the B-wing......

This may be a one off set. It probably will, if they even sanction the production which is a big IF. So i say go all out on a first set, The Strike Fighter, the APC, 8 marines, A Pilot, a Captain, an Engineer, a Shrake Sargeant an Alquirian and 3 rifleman, 2 Ugokin pods and 4 Ugokins, 3 drones and subaltern. Expencive, yeah probably, but we might not get any more sets, put in as much different things in as you can.

How are the Marines, any new updates?
-
What did you mean then?

-
Love the book. Adore the old BBC show. Hate the new movie..... Nice rendition though and well build
-
The prize is the admiration or the ridicule of your peers, enough for me
-
Bless you kind sir So Draik, round 1 is the data drone, can we start building/posting?
-
Well that's what's the LXF file is for. Be my guest to modify at your hearts content. But don't forget to post a pic, i love to see modifications on my designs By the way, the engines are actually too small, any idea how much lift you need to generate for take off Just look at the V-22 Ossprey, massive rotors compared to it's size, for that matter, any helicopter.

Look in 'LEGO Sci-Fi Launchpad' right at the bottom

Do we post here or in a separate topic? [RMO, S Vs. B, *unitname* entry]

I agree with all of the above that more animals are long overdue. 1. American Eagle 2. Grizly bear 3. Prairie dog 4, Buffalo 5. Bison That should round out the western theme with some new animals. Ride em Cowboys

Thanks BD. I knew i wasn't elligble for the tag but i just wanted to know about the percentages, thanks for the answer ^_^ Now give me the tag or will sing
-
Nice Could use some work though, the tower is a bit too small, it should be at least the hight of the Saturn rocket, also the white/black colours should be a bit different. But in all an excellent build. Don't mind me, i'm a nitpicker

I'm not nearly elligeble for the tag, but i do wonder how you can see / where you can find the % of posts per theme.

Model Plagiarism
BasOne replied to Stormbringer's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
From the video's it sounds like a little kid, not an adult. Send him an E-mail that looks and sounds very official with a lot of legal techno babble and name some big lawfirm and it would scare the bejuzes out of him... Wel that is what i would do If memmory serves me in the US of A small alterations does not make it someone elses, it is still plagarism, you have a lot of very strong laws that protect someone intellectial property, ie. if it's your idea, and you can proof it, it the other guy is F***ed (pardon my french). I've seen it happen to me a few times whith models i uploaded through LDD, it bugs me a lot that others lay claim on models you put an effort in. -
It might be nice if you hammer out a hyargy heiargy (i hate that word) of the branches, like. Army - Armoured Devision - Mobile Troop - Artillery - Infantry - Support devision Navy - Ship Command (Capital ships) - Starfighter Command (space) - Starfighter Command (ground) - Support Fleet (Fleet Logistics) Marines - Air support devision - Transport Devision (dropships) - Armoured Devision - Scout Devision - Marine Devision Army Armoured devision - Command Vehicle - 8 -10 Main Battle Tanks Marine Tactical Airwing - 6 Squadrons Heavy Attack Flyers Something like that. A structure to the branches. That is, if you can find the time to do something like that Maybe you can even find a place for a Mobile base..... Teaser shot
