Good progress 'Lt' I take it the shop to the right of the flight center is to be the Lowes? Those pictures of the actual Lowes show a department store. Do you have a home improvement Lowes or is it just a department store?

This looks great so far 'L-space'. I can see this is going to be very large! Can't wait to see this progress -
Very impressive castle 'Cedric the Brick'. The castle and landscaping are very realistic. This is something to admire, terrific job

Neat MOC 'GZ' Neat alternative us of that giant rock piece. Definitely a neat scene here

I have plenty of white bricks from sets dating back to the early 80's that are still very white and have others that,t I am assuming the previous owner left near exposed sun, are yellowed. The sets I purchased new in the 90's (my childhood) look brand new because they have been in a dark closet and never see sun. Like whats stated above, fill a tupperware container with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and a bit of a catalyst like OXYclean. Let your affected bricks soak in the container in sunlight for a couple hours or day, depending on the severity. Rinse them and then soak them in a solution of Dawn or similar soap and a splash of carwash soap, agitating it periodically. This cleans the residue of OXYclean and and the carwash soap helps protect the plastic from harsh detergents. Rinse with water and air dry and you'll have brand new looking bricks!

Great MOC 'J4ke'. Love the colors and the design of its tracks. Great job

Quality control issue? I would love to see a larger selection of baseplates. I definitely need tan, gray, and green, in different sizes.

I do remember reading about the forum for members only. I posted a few small set reviews from the 90's city a while back as, practice if you will. There seems to be big gaps in those set reviews that I plan to fill. I personally don't see a point in double reviewing anyways as I have most of the sets unreviewed. I'm much into MOCing, so whether I'm in or out, I still enjoy writing typing reviews of my sets:laugh:

I love the yellow bus too. Had to buy a few duplicates just for them. Still good trade, wish I had an extra Bank

Thanks 'Brickdoctor' and 'Big Cam'. I read the guidelines and left a request to join yesterday or the day before. I was curious as to how those rankings worked. I'm guessing if your reviews are indexed they are recognized as a pass by a teacher or moderator?

I look forward to your results with 9v motor testing. I am strongly considering getting ME rails but, m a little concerned about traction and a long train. How many cars where pulled when you noticed the train slipping?

My current layout has a marina next to a harbor, as well as, a rail depot. The harbor is not connected to the rail depot as my room is long and narrow, therefor it wouldn't be space efficient to have the two connected. There would be no room for the beach or marina, so its a short drive to the water. I plan to move it to a larger room and combine the those two and move the public beach and marina a little further away. No clue as to when I will get to this, a lot of work

I have a question regarding the Reviewers Academy. I understand the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, gold being an instructor, the others are students. How do become an instructor or student? Just write reputable reviews?

Great start 'Lt'. This is going to be a big one. Neat idea for for the phone and ATM. Looking forward to the next update

Great artwork everyone! They look fantastic

If you ever have trouble finding a particular part on BL click the tab that says "catalog" then click the link "sets" and the theme or subtheme of any set with the part you are looking for or type the set number in the search at the top, and just scroll down until you find the part

I buy 90% of my sets from eBay, around 15 or so a month, with no sets having "hidden" pieces unless stated in the description. Like 'Peppermint_M' said, buying bulk lots run that risk. Most members selling bulk lots know whats in the mix. Its usually parents selling off their children's collection assuming its all Lego where you may find other parts.

That is hilarious but, a Lego zoo could be worth it. I'd like to see some animals in my city other than cats, dogs, birds, etc. I don't buy other themes so this is all I have Neat find too, whoever built that zoo did a great job.
