Those are some great funky little vehicles 'demarco'. They look great. What are their origins apart from 1958? Great job

Great Scott that was fast! I saw that Brickshop.nl link not 6hrs ago. "They" sure move quick to snuff out those informants

Lego Milling Machine

That is too cool. I had no idea that NXT was that versatile and advanced. That was a great find 'p_d' -

LEGO Guy Bri replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Whoa, that is quite an army. What is it like 976? I enjoyed seeing this -
Ah, I thought that might have been the place for 'bionicle factory's story

I generally leave feedback on most MOCs that appeal to me. Mostly in Train or Town, I occasionally venture to other themes for a look. I leave a suggestion if I see something that could be improved. But usually towards beginners or intermediate builders. I also leave feedback on those MOCs that have received zero or few if no one else has. As for those who build larger or more complex, comments usually encompass a great appreciation for their great skill and work. I am no great builder (most of my MOCs are revised childhood MOCs) or have fully understood the new building of modulars, as I have built only two

Glad I caught this second time around. My first set was an old DUPLO train (blue base, red base cars) or a farm tractor (red bottom, blue top). Both where from '89-'91. I am not sure what their specific year or set number. My first regular kit was 1638 Basic Bucket (blue) and System set 1896 Trauma Team Which I now have 5 of

I personally don't care whether or not the I get tracks with PF trains. My main system is 9V and has 9-10 times the track pieces as the PF tracks I have. I only plan make a smaller inner city loop for my motor-less 8404 Trams. I have no plans to make a full line for a train... yet

Felt it here in Charleston, WV. I think it's about 250mi (402km) away. First one I've ever felt. It freaked a lot of people out at work. Everyone on our block and surrounding blocks where evacuated for a brief period. It was very different to say the least

I voted for 6399 Airport Shuttle. I really wish I had one. I chose it because I am 100% into city and love the fact that it is elevated and very easy to add extra height. I love seeing large layouts with the shuttle passing by a second story window. I do like the 6391 Space themed one as well. It was the only one I ever played with as a kid. Unfortunately I haven't owned a single set. Still trying

Awesome set of cars 'CoolerTD'. A very nice blend of passenger and cargo stock for the Emerald Night. Very well done

Excellent version of a 3180 tanker car 'mostlytechnic'. I to prefer the double axle trucks over all of TLG's single axle cars. Seems like you and 'roamingstudio' have made better versions than those by TLG. Great job

To me, I see the lines of a Citroen. Looking forward to it's reveal

Great first MOC 'Bayou'. Looks like it can get to a fire anywhere. Excellent job on the details, this would be awesome parked next to TLG's, 7213 Off Road Fire Truck and Boat. Hope to see more of your MOCs

My tutorial: Applying/removing offical TLG stickers

WD-40 also removes glue residue and similar gunk, and it won't damage your pieces. I use it to correct squeaky wheels Edit: I just double checked on an old clear window pane. It had no negative effect -

I am interested in this but, can't afford it until September. If it's still unsold PM me. I am in Charleston, WV 25314. I have a valid paypal account -
A combo auction of 6631 Steam Shovel and 6594 Gas Transit for a total of $11.49 and an unopened video tape of the 8457 Power Puller for about "tree fiddy"

Your first minifigure?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You got it right with me... My first minifig was this guy, from 1990's, 1638 Basic Bucket (Blue). I believe he is somewhere within my city -
Today I picked up a set of 4531 9v switch points, a driveway and a race track base plate, 3677's ballast loader, and a lot of 4563 Load N' Haul Railroad, 4515 straights, 4520 curved, and a second 4531 manual points

Whatever happened, thank Heavens they got out of Town Jr. and World City... That was a major disappointment. My dark age covered most of that time, so not too many sets I wanted that I had to find

Awesome MOC, awesome film. Where's Randall? Great job on the build 'getdamonkey'

Congrats on your upgrade 'Phred'

ASK HERE How to clean your LEGO sets/parts?
LEGO Guy Bri replied to jngunsw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Lego should be dish washer safe, though I have never done it. I know they can handle 250F degree heat and your dishwasher is no where close to that. I do soak mine in very hot water and mix of Dawn and Cherry Car Wash soap. I also use a tooth brush for real dirty pieces. It can be a time consuming process but, soaking them for a day or so loosens up most of the debris. If you do use a dish washer I suggest putting them in something with tiny holes so they don't get thrown around or stuck in the drain -
I hate when they do that... I always get a box cutter and cut them along the separate bricks. For the main question: on some applications I wouldn't mind, Like on a Fire Truck roof, centered sticker or on both sides of the tail of an airplane. Other than that, I prefer to deal with the stickers. I really wish they'd move to printed pieces opposed to sticker all together. "Just imagine..."
