  1. Yes I am sure it'll be an amazing combination. Thanks for sharing the pics on the refer, looks just great! Could give us a weight estimate? Do you have plans for the doors in the back?
  2. Sorry for the late reply, you asked this before... Did you check Rebrickable.com's parts list of this model, it tells it all... If I may suggest, search for the cheapest on BL and buy as much as you like! Every model I build uses about 6 to 10 of those. The same goes for the white smaller RBs, those I use a lot too. You won't have to many as far as I am concerned...
  3. Thanks for the kind words and great to read that you want/must have them all... My goal is to release four major projects each year. Basically two truck trailer combinations = two trucks and two trailers. US Truck T1 MkII with Trailer Tr10 and US Truck T2 MkII with Trailer Tr2 MkII... Also do I release some in between projects as well, for example Trailer Tr3 MkII log trailer. This does not necessarily change the total number of builds for you in a single year. Because those last two trailers, the log trailers, are to fit my previous released truck models. So you could skip the flatbed or drop deck trailer and replace it with the log trailer. Just some thoughts to give to you... Since you have build three trucks, you need one more trailer...
  4. To be honest, I thought about using white ones, but that is a little overdone... Thanks for the kind words and about 'making more of them', be sure of that...!!!
  5. Yeah, that is exactly what I mean. So there is this "budget" build one can start with. Also there is this "pimp your ride" version which can also be applied later on... Well, again I have great news for someone...and this time it is you... As mentioned before this December the instructions for the lowboy will be released. To go with it there is this US Truck T3, which is a heavy duty truck, but it is quite complex and uses some hard to get parts. So to go with the lowboy there comes this US Truck 12, it does the same as T3, but is much easier and therefore cheaper to build. Those T12 instructions will be available for sure and if everything goes well it'll be the first half of 2015. Finally instructions for T3 will be release as well, but that might take a couple of months more. For both trucks goes: there will be a MkII because of so many improvements!!!
  6. @ technicfan & Lundgren, I will instructions for US Truck T5 someday for sure. It'll be another rebuild, so it'll be named US Truck T5 MkII probably and again with the sleeper. The rebuild will again include Servo Motor steering and openable doors amongst many other improvements. You can build a day cab out of it yourself... Now that we are talking about this truck, how about the chrome parts? Should I do one with the chrome parts replaced by Bluish Light Gray? And one with the chrome parts? Does it make sense for me to provide chrome packs via my BL store? Just some thoughts, let me know!!!
  7. Thanks again for the kind words!!! It is a pleasure to provide instructions to have people like you build these MOCs too... Tan would be just amazing including that "one of a kind" Tan grill/bar, just great... Thanks and yes I do like to meet you in real live too at LW2014!!! @'Rishab N': Thank you so much!!! Well, IMHO, a big yes... You don't have to agree with me, it is up to you... Do you create instructions yourself too? Yes, I would love to see some pics. I have subscribed to your own topic here on EB, so I will see them coming...
  8. You are most welcome!!! And yes, feel free to ask, I might actually give you an answer Seriously, I am proud that you think I can help you and I will do so if I can...
  9. This is exactly what flips the coin, this is not true...Sorry for being this clear and please allow me to explain. Most instructions I have seen from other builders are almost default instructions. With this I mean the instructions as generated by the software used with less alterations to it. There is nothing wrong with it, don't get me wrong, it is up to any builder to do what suites them best... But...this really is what makes mine different, I alter so many things in these instructions and in the 3D file that is used to generate them that I am pretty quite sure my 1000 pieces instructions take me longer then other's 3000 pieces instructions... Maybe I shouldn't do this and put less effort in them and sell them cheaper, but I can't, sorry... Again, great that you share your view on this, I have absolutely no hard feelings. As long as we respect other's there views on things it is a good thing, that would make this world a much better place...
  10. Well, that is a good question. To be honest I do not have this Giant Truck and I never had it... So I do not have the exact answer. On the other hand the wheels of the Black Cat are slightly taller then the wheel I use on my trailers and that makes me assume it fits well with 5571.
  11. Thanks for the kind words, that is very much appreciated... You know, about the price, I see it differently. It is not the number of parts that sets the price. The value for money is in the instructions themselves. Those are very clear, useful and If I may say so myself professional. Even the Rubber Belts and PF cables are clearly explained, I mean what to do with them. It is not left to sort out by the builder, no it is all explained... That is important to me as designer and also as seller of instructions, it really is all in there... Never the less thanks for sharing your point of view, that is also appreciated, as long as it is in nice and normal communication... Like you did...thanks...! The Red one combined with the T2 is the most appealing IMHO. As I wrote before I prefer not to build in Black Never the less did I enjoy the build of the Black one and even more the fotoshoot of it together with T1!!! Yes, I know what is hauled by your Red T1. BTW, did you ever finish that refer? Or did I miss something... Well have fun building it then! What color scheme floats your boat best? About the EasyLoader, who knows, but I am not sure of it right now. That trailer really is complex and I am not sure I am going to be able to explain it all in building instructions. Maybe I will give it a try someday, but no promises yet!!! Hope you understand...
  12. Thanks "Lundgren" for these kind words!!! You mean OR Red OR Black or an entire new color scheme? Yes I know what you are waiting for (and many others!) and your patience starts to pay of... Now that I have finished and released those two log trailers I can start with the lowboy this week! It'll be released this December! Yes, it has come that far my friend...
  13. I never replied to this beauty!!! Sorry...it is amazing!!! Love this excavator very much and keep it up, the good work I mean!!!
  14. Love this one very much!!! Nice and fast!!!
  15. My latest release, a log trailer with three axles of which the last one is liftable. It comes in two color schemes to match both "US Truck T1 MkII" and "US Truck T2 MkII". Model "Trailer Tr3 MkII” is build with LEGO® in scale 1:17,5 and motorized using LEGO® Power Functions. It is not build after a specific brand or type of trailer. This build represents a three axle log trailer with liftable third axle. The trailer features: solid axle suspension on all axles, one set of lights, kingpin, remotely controlled landing gear and parking break, remotely controlled liftable third axle that simultaneously extends or retracts the rear impact guard and this model has many details. This newly designed and engineered trailer utilizes the same suspension as US Truck T2 MkII which uses LEGO® rubber belts and LEGO® rubber axle connectors. This model is another custom design by Ingmar Spijkhoven AKA 2LegoOrNot2Lego that comes with building instructions and inventory/parts list! You can build it yourself! To do so you can buy the Building Instructions. Early in the building process you will see what it is that you are building. You will be very excited from the moment you start the build of "Trailer Tr3 MkII" till you finish it with a total number of parts of about 1000 pieces. Simultaneously with lifting the third axle the rear impact guard is retracted. So with the third axle down the rear impact guard is fully extended, this to increase safety when hauling loads. Unloaded the total length of the combination is reduced with the third axle lifted and the rear impact guard in. As with most log trailers this model has so called bolsters or bunks. Those are the U shaped frames on top of the trailers chassis. Bolsters are obviously necessary to keep the logs in place. Even though the bolsters on this specific model are fixed they can easily be re-located if wanted. The number of six can also be altered to your own needs. Give this trailer the setup you want it to have. Cheers, Ingmar Spijkhoven
  16. I didn't notice the topic on this model, now I did :-) This one is just amazing, very much detail and the looks are awesome! Who knows, I might want to build this one some day...
  17. Well, to me it seems pretty okay!
  18. Impressive WIP you have!!! This one is very nice and looks amazing. Nice to stick to Volvo!!!
  19. I really love what you have done to this "station" and as written before, those trees are very nice!!!
  20. @ MistrGo, thanks for sharing this with us, it is very helpful for others I suppose. The PF Battery Box you refer too I use myself too! In the program I create 3D models and instructions with this Battery Box is not available, never the less it does the job perfectly!!!
  21. @ MistrGO, you did quite an investment, but I guess you find it worth all this money! About this 332 Euro amount and the LEGO shop amount of 61,50. This is for all four models? I guess you already had a lot of PF yourself. Else you would have spend more money on motors and so on You already had a lot of bricks yourself I can see. A lot of people do have a lot of TECHNIC stuff and can not build these models. You can, so it seems like you have a lot of bricks!
  22. That picture showing both trucks and both trailers makes me really proud!!! Thanks again for your support...
  23. Also very nice, these models are absolutely complete, you didn't leave any part of. Was it hard to get them all?
