@ Lundgren and ritztoys: Thanks guys As far as I am concerned I'll never stop!!! Building MOCs is what I have to do, sharing them with the world is rewarding, but people wanting to build my creations is extremely rewarding @ ritztoys: We can't wait and all you do is telling us about your version, you really are teasing us you know!!! I am so curious what it is that you'll do "to" this creation... @ Error404: This part only is available in chrome, no other colors. @ Lundgren: Go outside, take both trucks and make us some nice pictures of the tow truck "towing" the Red one. That would be so awesome, I am sure about that!!!

An iPad or any other tablet can be moved around easily and that is what it makes so easy to use. This in general and also when it comes to working with online BI. Nice to see and read that you have so much fun building and that the online instructions are a succes! This is a very nice overview picture you have shared with us, it really shows how it works. Is your working desk always this organized... I have my hands full to keep it that way...haha... BTW, did you get the change to promote my model at the Swedish forum you told me about?

Yeah, that is how I designed it...haha... Are more parts getting in each day? Is there an iPad or so sitting on your table? Does it work as you would expect?

No I don't... ...just kidding, yes I do, very nice! I am sure about it, you told me a little about the colors... This is going to be amazing and because of the hard to get parts it'll be a one of kind. Your models really be will unique!!! Very nice and we can't wait for it to be finished...

Thanks for the kind words on this build and on the BI. I really hope this encourage people to start building this truck as well! Nice touch with that Technic Figure, never tried it myself You obviously can't wait for the parts to arrive, you have to keep on building. Nice to see it grow even with the missing parts, keep it up buddy and again thanks for your interest Also nice to see that you give it your own touch by replacing some pieces/parts. That is a good thing! I know that ritztoys has an amazing plan with it, I am so curious... I guess we all know how that feels, it happens to everyone at least once... You are initially right, but I changed my mind in the last couple of years. For me it all started with the build of a chassis. Mainly because I am interested in the suspension. After I finished the chassis I had to continue with the bodywork. At first I really did not like it all, for me it is much tougher then the mechanical part. Finally after a couple of years and modeling over and over again I really fell in love with doing the bodywork. So don't give up you will love to build on the bodywork someday too, well at least I guess...

Nice, nice progress. Build a little, well the chassis is more then just a little! Well keep it up and keep us posted and yes obviously the parts need to be touched, that is what you bought them for...haha...

@ Lundren and ritztoys: Great to see that you both enjoy these models so much. Obviously it is the best to take the time for building these models. Yes it is nice to have them assembled, but the build is self has to be fun as well. That is why I put so much effort into creating these instructions. Well anyways, I am curious what you think of this model/build, keep us posted. @ ritztoys: Good luck remodeling the rooms in your house. A great idea to reward yourself with the build of this model. It makes you go faster to start building the MOC... It is just for the fun of it, having a LEGO® truck convoy and that really asks for that song. Not for the song itself, but for the sake of a convoy...

Well, I keep it in mind, it sure is one amazing idea!!! When I have more models assembled I sure will do a convoy movie with the song...

Yes you are absolutely right about that! The only thing is, I do not have many trucks assembled. As with all builders I have to re-use my parts. I do run out of parts myself too... Right now I only have two finished trucks and four finished trailers. So a road train with two tractors would be an option... Obviously I do have some WIPs but not ready to be used/shown...

Yes you are most certainly very close!!! This looks more like the completely filled table I showed... About the table, it looks like you and I have almost the same table and chairs...

Instructions for the detachable gooseneck lowboy trailer both with liftable axle and flip axle are on there way. So that is the good thing... Yes it takes an enormous amount of time not only because of the process itself I also put a lot of effort in making them look unique. For me it is like building MOCs, it has to be clear those instructions are created by me. To give it a signature so to speak is very important for me! No, I didn't know you did instructions for the rotating grapple. I did look it up and you did a fine job on that, that is for sure! As I stated earlier this message I want my instructions not to be "out of the box". I give it a personal touch and that is very important to me. Just to be clear, I am not telling anyone else to do so... Thanks for your interest and the grapple looks fine on the Unimog!!!

As I commented on several web pages this same model will be available in different colors. Here is a picture that shows you what to expect. It took me a while to get the render software going and even a little longer to operate it. Finally I did... Obviously the desirable color (scheme) of a model is subject to builders preference. With every new build I want the color scheme to be different again. Since I do not build direct copies I have to come up with it myself. In order to give builders the chance to build this particular model in a different color to meet there preference I decided to add different schemes. So for those who like to build this model in a different color here is a preview. A preview of what to expect. For all four of these colors shown in this picture instructions will be available as well as the required parts list.

It is important to inspect your models, you might even want to do a little maintenance. My experience is that since gears are not locked to the axles they are sitting on, the axles might be displaced a little. As long as it is just a little, it is okay, but in the end it might fall out. This happened to me occasionally. It is different indeed, sitting inside the vehicle or having a helicopter view so to speak. Because of driving around in our not so big living room I developed that skill quite well...

About keeping track, the best is to insert/add all your inventory to Rebrickable.com I guess. With this you know what parts are used and which are not. But...maybe you are right, the paper thing is the best... So you have to wait a little longer because of the missing parts, to bad... Thanks for the kind words on the instructions, I really put in a lot of effort to get them both look well and being correct. The price is a little steep, but you get value for you money... About the lowboy, yes that would be an amazing combination. The thing is that the Heavy Duty Truck is especially designed to go with that lowboy. I refer to it as US Truck T3. Another truck that works great with the lowboy trailers is the US Truck T12. Why? you might wonder. Well here is the deal: In order to make the gooseneck work properly the fifth wheel need to be a little more to the front. So basically both US Truck T1 MkII and US Truck T2 MkII can be combined with the lowboy trailers, but will not work correctly. So sitting on a shelf, there is no problem, but operating is not possible. What might work is to add the jeep as shown in the pictures below. Normally with a load as the Liebherr L 580 a jeep is not required, but consider it to be a conversion kit. It allows you to make the combination as you described.

Here are some pictures of how the parts looked like when sitting on the table to be checked. The entire process of creating instructions includes checking the number of all the specific parts. Well here it is in progress...

You are right about the load. A lowboy would be used to haul the JS220 for example. I did look through all the renders you made, but I can not find a good load. Any help would be nice... Nice pictures of a nice event, great that you have been there!

This load is amazing, looks awesome and impressive. Nice those added chains! Thanks for sharing those models at events and for sharing this picture with us!!! Do you have plans for going to this event or others again...

This one is really nice, amazing and impressive!!! It is so "you" and that is a good thing, you have your own style and you stand for it. Nice to see all the added chrome parts, very very nice...!!!

I can tell for sure that is not enough to build this model... At least it is a start, but you need more I suppose you have a lot of parts yourself already... Great that someone recognized the US Truck T2 MkII and is gathering parts for it as well. Yes I am proud of that, two of those in Indianapolis IN, USA... Yes I will be designing, I will not give of up for sure, thanks in your interest and trust!!!
