Great trailer, but the Yoda in the teaser trailer looks too young. And also with the many battles that the Lothal rebels faces, i doubt that they will able to survive until the Battle of Yavin....

(LDD MOC) Rebel Gunship/ Troop carrier
YellowCorvette replied to YellowCorvette's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the kind words! Since that this a gunship/troop carrying ship, of course it still has other play features beside the spring shooters. -
Looks great, but am I the only one here who think that the X-Wing is a little bit oversized?

Thanks for the review. This set isn't look too bad and can be a good set for many fans of the Hoth scene in the movie. The turret looks good and the random colors at the base isn't look too bad.

(LDD MOC) Rebel Gunship/ Troop carrier
YellowCorvette replied to YellowCorvette's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yeah, this MOC is moderately inspired by the HWK freighters(At least for the front/cockpit section). I also take inspiration from some others Star Wars vehicles like the LAAT Gunship. -
Wait, so the summer sets leak are now began? After I see the leak pictures, here's my opinion on the summer sets: Umarak the Destroyer: Aside for the menacing claws, the set just looks awful. Pass this set. Ekimu the Mask Maker: Great Trans-Blue parts, boring build. Once again another pass for me like Umarak. Storm Beast: What's up with the ugly lower body build!? Pass again for me. Quake Beast: Looks the best in the bunch, but still very far from perfect. Lava Beast: Good parts, but hideous and ugly build. Another pass for me. Overall: Quake beast is good, but the others..... meh.

Hello, and welcome aboard to EB.

Hello everyone! I didn't really have any important things to do in this week, so I turned out to make a Rebel Gunship/Troop carrier MOC in LDD since the lacking in gunship/troop carrying ships for the Rebellion is kinda bother me. Did the ship's design reminded you for something, huh? Any comments and suggestions are welcomed. I'll post most details of the ship in later posts.

Thanks for another good review, but the set itself...... not so good. Aside for the minifigures and parts, I didn't really find any reasons for me to buy this set at all.

Looks pretty good, but it think the X-Wing will look better if the yellow parts are replaced with Dark Tan.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What's up with the design of the new sets? I don't think I ever see the Hammerhead or the black ship ship in any of the Star Wars stories like KOTOR, Rebels, TCW or anything. Vader's TIE Advance looks awesome as well! -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
From the blurred leak pictures at Instagram, it seems that the new X-Wing is still use the same wing design like 75102? If it's like that, than it'll be just 75102 with a swapped parts colour. Another unlikely purchase like the new Jedi Interceptor set since I already have 75102. -
The UCS Hype. What will 2017 bring? (40th Anniversary)
YellowCorvette replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Eh, what I mean by my previous post is the ships that hasn't been done as a official UCS set, not a MOC. -
The UCS Hype. What will 2017 bring? (40th Anniversary)
YellowCorvette replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would like for ships that hasn't have a UCS version like the A-Wing been make. But since it's a anniversary for The New Hope movie, another UCS Y-Wing, Blockade Runner, TIE Advance set would be welcomed. -
REVIEW 75135 Obi Wan's Jedi Interceptor
YellowCorvette replied to Vectormatic's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It's the build of the underside and the astromech droid slot that's upsetting. The way the underside built in the new Interceptor set cause the underside to looks blocky, less smooth and more unfinished than the previous versions. The build of the droid slot also caused the droid to looks extremely exposed and awkward when inserted in the slot. That's the reasons this set received so much hate. -
REVIEW 75135 Obi Wan's Jedi Interceptor
YellowCorvette replied to Vectormatic's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the review, but this is still another set I won't want to buy even in a discount. The underside looks too blocky with the new build and I hate the way they build the astromech slot. -
[MOC] [LDD] T-70 X-wing Microfig / Midi Scale
YellowCorvette replied to Ironscotsman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I like the idea behind this MOC, but the X-Wing can been did better. The shape of the windscreen looks too fat and the shaping of the rear fuselage are too low and wide. -
[LDD][MOC] Mace Windu's Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor
YellowCorvette replied to LegoStarWarsLDDShop's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think that the color scheme on the Interceptor is eye-popping, but like the others I also think that inclusion of a instruction that requires real money payment is pointless since most of the parts in this MOC aren't available in purple in real life.- 9 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow, net sets informations! So we'll get a Vader's TIE and CTT set, right? That's sounds great and awesome, but what's up with the high prices of the sets? -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
YellowCorvette replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just saw the Civil War sets in HothBrick's Flickr and I dissapointed with the sets. Crossbones's Jeep looks ugly and the minifigures espiecally Black Panther is very disappointing (Way too much white lines on the torso and head!). -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
YellowCorvette replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It make sense, since most of the sets with a price tag higher than $60 are released in summer wave. -
Yes, but most of the action features in Star Wars sets are integrated well. Even if the play features didn't integrated well, there still kinda make sense. The Jurassic World sets has silly play features that didn't integrated well with the build and make no sense even for a die-hard Jurassic World fan.

Am I the only member here who think that the Star Wars review and MOC Index needs a major update? Like a example, the latest review to been indexed in the Review index are sets from 2014. It's almost two year since all the 2014 sets review been indexed in the index. Where's the 2015 set reviews in the index? Some of the reviews are excellent and deserved to been indexed. I also see that the MOC index is still kinda outdated. I know that the indexer want to ensure that the indexed MOC are excelent in quality, but at the same time I also see that some of the MOCs indexed aren't that good and rough, while I also see some excellent MOCs that deserved to been indexed aren't been indexed. I didn't mean that the MOCs in the MOC index are bad, but I think there's some MOCs that more deserved to been indexed.

None of the sets in your order are in danger of been retired soon (Some of them been tagged "Hard to Find" in Lego Shop website, but that didn't mean that it'll been retired earlier). But however, all sets you mentioned here are all excellent and looks great even as a display item.
