Could you please resize you pictures to 600x800 max as per the Eurobricks guidelines. They are way too big at the moment (for guides click the link in my sig). Looks like a good start.

It's actually surprisingly sturdy, because it doesn't have the 1x1 round plates joining the 1x2 plates, they can form a tighter cicle and the plates rest on top of each other (though there's no clutch). It's still strong enough to build on top of and because it was laid in stripes around a prefab quarter circle wall piece so it went together quit easily.

A non guild affiliated tower guarding the neutral settlement of Equatorius, where many Historians have moved to escape the politics of the four guilds. I'm not sure if this technique has been used before...I've seen it done with 1x1 round plates included but not with just 1x2 plates. I'm sure it could work really well with some mixture of colour, this was just a tester. What do you think?

Simply awesome! I'm glad I ordered trans orange pieces to re-do my lava fall after seeing yours. (I almost went red/yellow). We Nocturnians may not have as many towers/members as other guilds but we sure do have some style.....disco inferno.

I've only seen Vader ones (which I bought ) at ToyWorld.....Now to see if we can order Boba.

I really like the shape of your tower, but it could use some texture on the walls. I don't know what your brick situation is but if you swap out some bricks here and there for plate, stud combo or textured bricks, maybe swap out the wall/window pieces for jutted out arches or window boxes..a few little details can really lift a MOC to the next level. eg:

1) Big Fish scene - Magician, Mime Artist and Circus Clown Entry (Build by lorax) 1 point 2) The Lord of the Rings scene - Elf and Dwarf Warrior Entry (Build by Thor Lund) 1 point 3) The Mist scene - Skateboarder and Woodcutter Entry (Build by Yatkuu) 1 point Good luck everyone!

The use of smaller elements is the way to go ...check this out.

Your building just continues to improve with every MOC. You gotta love Santa on a long board. Fake tan = priceless!

I wanted to use trans for the lava but my collection is pretty lacking in that area...if I was more of a Si-Fi builder I might have more variety in my trans bricks. Time to go to cracklink. I agree the waterfall was a better build than the lava (that looks more like blood), there is still time to get it right though. We are not prejudice in Nocturnus, we'll stick anyone's head on a pike.

That is a great technique SOT a huge castle in this style was Blogged on the Brothers Brick a few weeks ago, regardless it looks great and oozes your style! I'm guessing the technic lift arms will shoot up in price now?
