  1. Splitting the difference between 75243 and 75312 would be a 5-stud wide windscreen. That would be uncanny. I wish Master Wu flew an ARC-170.
  2. Any ideas on what 75433 Slave 1 will look like at 707 pieces? That’s 114 more pieces than 75312 (which comes with a mini-“stand”) and exactly 300 pieces less than 75243. I can’t really think where you’d put the extra 100+ pieces on 75312 without making it bigger, even with a more detailed SNOT style skirt.
  3. Looking forward to it. I think the biggest flaw of 75313 and most minifig scale MOCs is that the legs are too thick.
  4. This is a Lego Star Wars forum. It should be part of your annual routine. Like cleaning out rain gutters, getting a checkup, or rotating your mattress. Incidentally ROTS is still in theaters.
  5. That looks pretty great. Doesn’t look like the instructions or parts list are available, but the video makes it reasonably clear for an extremely patient individual. So when Jango fires his rocket at Kenobi was he just clinging to the side of one of those two towers… in the pouring rain… at an inverted angle?
  6. Thanks for the info! I figured a 64 cm pad wouldn’t be 1:1 from the film, but was hoping for a companion piece that was at least ostensibly scaled to the set. Based on this input it may still appear a bit too cramped though.
  7. Does anyone know if this BRICK_BOSS Kamino Landing Platform, https://www.brick-boss-pdf.com/products/brick_boss-kamino-modular-landing-platform?_pos=12&_sid=e89a48b82&_ss=r would be able to accommodate 75409 for display purposes? i.e. If someone has already built it and happens to have 75060 or 75409.
  8. This was my solution for an X-Wing stand, though it may be considered illegal depending on who you ask:
  9. Here’s hoping for a Ree-Yees, Bossk, Gamorrean Guard and Yak Face battle pack.
  10. Agreed. I thought maybe Zal Dinnes or Torge Grommer, but alas…
  11. Does anyone have any idea which (if any) rebel pilot helmet iconography that is?
  12. I haven’t seen any depictions of the T-65 X-Wing in 1:1455 scale so I thought I’d throw my solution out there. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-182540/MTgreg/t-65-x-wing-starfighter-in-nano-scale/#details Suggestions/alternative solutions welcome.
  13. I was just going to reply, if you’re patient I’m sure a much better Outrider MOC is just around the corner. Unfortunately I parted this out years ago, and built it mostly with pieces I had on hand. If someone is committed to a MOC in the same line as this one I’d recommend buying a system scale Millennium Falcon and building the Outrider off of the saucer and frame.
  14. Or four half bushings stacked. Those little ones have clutch power. I’m sure with enough inertia one could remove it. I imagine a bullet puller impact hammer modified with a slot for the 64179 7x5 technic frame would remove the axle without having to pry it out with a knife.
  15. Isn’t this a similar situation to the Technic Axles w/ Stop that are inserted to attach the wings on 10212 Imperial Shuttle? Step 38 in Book 3 of the instructions; https://www.lego.com/cdn/product-assets/product.bi.core.pdf/4597963.pdf
  16. 297 pieces according to Bricklink Special Assembly page: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=spa0022#T=C&C=0 That total includes no figures.
  17. “Yeah. I got a question. Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?”
  18. In case anyone was wondering, this is what it looks like with the new pieces 2X 29119 and 2X 29120 in white replacing the 2X 11477 at the nose. https://m.imgur.com/a/JRUUHHY
  19. Nicely done. No Orrimaarko, aka Prune Face?
  20. Unfortunately I don’t use or have access to LDD. I’d recommend starting with the instructions to 7965, then modifying as the build progresses. Incidentally I’ve made a few modifications since the OP. No more angle in the oblique arm where it meets the saucer and medium blue (?) has been replaced with sand blue. https://flic.kr/p/RSVcqW https://flic.kr/p/RSVcq5
  21. Thanks all. LEDs would look nice, but I have zero experience. I’d like to “inverted tile” the entire bottom, but that would likely be an expensive order. Maybe incrementally over time. The cockpit was a headache. Very difficult to render in LEGO. It’s probably considered sacrilege but I’ve always preferred this ship over the Falcon.
  22. Here is my rendition of a YT-2400 light freighter. It was built based on Google Images search results, Sato's Hammer from Rebels and memory. I would suggest that it is somewhere between "System Scale" and "Minifig Scale" (Ostensibly Scaled?). My self-imposed requirement was the "saucer chassis" of 7965 and 4x4 Heat Exhaust Vents for a baseline. I built carte blanche from there. It is very solid, sturdy and heavier than it looks. It can be lifted with one hand from most points (except the cockpit and of course the "pie slice" roof panel sections). I am thinking that it is around 3,200 pieces. It is 20 inches (51 cm) wide, 12.5 inches (32 cm) long and 7.25 inches (18.5 cm) tall. I hope the pictures show up and are the right size. I haven't uploaded images before. Comments, criticisms and suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
  23. Just noticed it's listed as "Sold Out" on Shop Lego in the U.S. I'm not sure how long it's been listed as such or if that means it's gone for good?
  24. My first post. I have been unable to locate a definitive answer to my question on this site or elsewhere. If one exists please point me in the right direction. My question refers to part # 4095 in light bluish grey and two part # 2555 in dark bluish grey which appear in several production photos of the set (most significantly the front of the box itself) but very rarely on actual pictures of an assembled set. It is conspicuously absent from the inside of the manual, where I'd expect to see it on page 249, step 14 of the manual (if the approximate mirroring of the opposite side follows suit). If the front of the box is correct the set contains 28 pieces of 4095. If one follows the instructions it contains 27 pieces of 4095. If one refers to the back of the manual the number is back to 28. I guess my exact question is which version is correct? The one depicted on the cover of the box, or the one depicted inside the manual that came inside said box? The review of the set on this site shows a picture of the pieces in his extra pieces pile. Bricklink doesn't list the 4095 as an extra piece. Normally, probably no big deal, but considering the high-profile nature of this set and the fact that piece 4095 is a $3 discontinued part it seemed noteworthy to me. Are people buying "100% complete" sets on bricklink and eBay with or without these 3 pieces?
