  1. This my attempt at a 75018/75364 amalgamation. It started out as a straight recolor using the 75364 format (white=black, blue=red, LBG=DBG) but I didn’t love the result (see photo). So, I bought the Pixel Dan Mod, swapped those colors, implemented as many stickers from the original as I could, and then modified it further. i.e. raising the landing gear a bit, retaining the pneumatic cylinders on the wings, etc. Anyway, thought I’d share my results in case anyone has been considering such a foray. https://flic.kr/p/2rUnDyj https://flic.kr/p/2rUmQbm https://flic.kr/p/2rUgctY https://flic.kr/p/2rUmMBi
  2. Nice! About 1:500 scale? What’s between micro and nano? Micno? Nancro?
  3. Thanks all. Looking at screenshots from the episode I noticed a cheese grater looking component on the sides of the top nacelles. Might try adding the snowshoe piece (part no. 11187) there down the road. Also, looking for some mini figs that resemble the fishermen aliens. But this should do until the next Bricklink order.
  4. Color swapped 75178 to look more like it did on Narkina 5. Also some minor modifications such as covering up some of the gaps in the cockpit and opened up the fuselage as a single passage all the way through.
  5. Looks great. I’ve been waiting for a Venator at this size. I never bought 75367 because it doesn’t really scale with anything else in the collection.
  6. Splitting the difference between 75243 and 75312 would be a 5-stud wide windscreen. That would be uncanny. I wish Master Wu flew an ARC-170.
  7. Any ideas on what 75433 Slave 1 will look like at 707 pieces? That’s 114 more pieces than 75312 (which comes with a mini-“stand”) and exactly 300 pieces less than 75243. I can’t really think where you’d put the extra 100+ pieces on 75312 without making it bigger, even with a more detailed SNOT style skirt.
  8. Looking forward to it. I think the biggest flaw of 75313 and most minifig scale MOCs is that the legs are too thick.
  9. This is a Lego Star Wars forum. It should be part of your annual routine. Like cleaning out rain gutters, getting a checkup, or rotating your mattress. Incidentally ROTS is still in theaters.
  10. That looks pretty great. Doesn’t look like the instructions or parts list are available, but the video makes it reasonably clear for an extremely patient individual. So when Jango fires his rocket at Kenobi was he just clinging to the side of one of those two towers… in the pouring rain… at an inverted angle?
  11. Thanks for the info! I figured a 64 cm pad wouldn’t be 1:1 from the film, but was hoping for a companion piece that was at least ostensibly scaled to the set. Based on this input it may still appear a bit too cramped though.
  12. Does anyone know if this BRICK_BOSS Kamino Landing Platform, https://www.brick-boss-pdf.com/products/brick_boss-kamino-modular-landing-platform?_pos=12&_sid=e89a48b82&_ss=r would be able to accommodate 75409 for display purposes? i.e. If someone has already built it and happens to have 75060 or 75409.
  13. This was my solution for an X-Wing stand, though it may be considered illegal depending on who you ask:
  14. Here’s hoping for a Ree-Yees, Bossk, Gamorrean Guard and Yak Face battle pack.
  15. Agreed. I thought maybe Zal Dinnes or Torge Grommer, but alas…
  16. Does anyone have any idea which (if any) rebel pilot helmet iconography that is?
  17. I haven’t seen any depictions of the T-65 X-Wing in 1:1455 scale so I thought I’d throw my solution out there. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-182540/MTgreg/t-65-x-wing-starfighter-in-nano-scale/#details Suggestions/alternative solutions welcome.
  18. I was just going to reply, if you’re patient I’m sure a much better Outrider MOC is just around the corner. Unfortunately I parted this out years ago, and built it mostly with pieces I had on hand. If someone is committed to a MOC in the same line as this one I’d recommend buying a system scale Millennium Falcon and building the Outrider off of the saucer and frame.
  19. Or four half bushings stacked. Those little ones have clutch power. I’m sure with enough inertia one could remove it. I imagine a bullet puller impact hammer modified with a slot for the 64179 7x5 technic frame would remove the axle without having to pry it out with a knife.
  20. Isn’t this a similar situation to the Technic Axles w/ Stop that are inserted to attach the wings on 10212 Imperial Shuttle? Step 38 in Book 3 of the instructions; https://www.lego.com/cdn/product-assets/product.bi.core.pdf/4597963.pdf
  21. 297 pieces according to Bricklink Special Assembly page: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=spa0022#T=C&C=0 That total includes no figures.
  22. “Yeah. I got a question. Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?”
  23. In case anyone was wondering, this is what it looks like with the new pieces 2X 29119 and 2X 29120 in white replacing the 2X 11477 at the nose. https://m.imgur.com/a/JRUUHHY
  24. Nicely done. No Orrimaarko, aka Prune Face?
  25. Unfortunately I don’t use or have access to LDD. I’d recommend starting with the instructions to 7965, then modifying as the build progresses. Incidentally I’ve made a few modifications since the OP. No more angle in the oblique arm where it meets the saucer and medium blue (?) has been replaced with sand blue. https://flic.kr/p/RSVcqW https://flic.kr/p/RSVcq5
