Does anyone know what specific date these summer sets are coming out in stores or at LEGO? -
Yes please! I would love to see more photos of that set. He's currently one of my favourites...but I'm still unsure about him. Does anyone know a specific date for the release of the summer sets by the way? And whether it is true that Umarak will be released a month after these sets? This wave in particular has been odd in that sense.

Yeah...I'd have to agree with this. The other reviews have been done at least a month before the release of the sets (or weeks before).

Yet another review of Lava Beast....there seems to be something wrong with the video, but for those who want to see Lava Beast in a different light, there you go! It's also not the best review out there.... I'm guessing we should be seeing some official reviews from the likes of BZP and BS01 fairly soon. Also, someone on BZP's forum also shared a story similar to a few others here on this forum that Lego was pulling Bionicle sets off of shelves and making them online-only or something. I'm surprised that none of the sets have really shown up yet...I'll do some hunting today and see if I can find any.

Aw man.....well this is bad news! :( I hope that the cancellation of one graphic novel does not mean that the line as a whole for 2017 is doomed....but for 2018 at least, it's definitely not happening.

They're not supposed to be out technically......do check local TRUs in the next few weeks, and I'm sure they'll be popping up. Also, regarding the reviews, the person who has conducted the reviews of the three sets does not have Quake Beast....Umarak should be coming out in the next day or two, however. Also, I think Storm Beast is pretty interesting...he does look like some kind of a sea/land creature with the trans neon green working well to pull-off a mucky poisonous slime. I think Lava Beast is awesome and am really starting not to care as much about his weak torso construction. Ekimu I sitll like quite a bit. That is not the upper-half of the Vahi, it's a placeholder for the actual upper-half which was shown in the most recent graphic novel. Also, it's drawn the same way as the first graphic novel, but I think it's really worth buying this graphic novel. Much better than the first.

Does anyone find it super odd that we still don't know the cover nor the title for the third graphic novel which is slated to be released at the end of this month? I find it to be super bizarre considering we got the covers/names for the last two well in advance (I believe a month and a half or so before? I can't quite remember)

Hmm...lava beast definitely looks cool. Really interested to see how storm and quake turned out....maybe reviews for the, will be coming soon.

The shooter you're right about, but it looks like the box says his shield actually does spin. (EDIT) Just checked the NYTF pics and you're right about the shield. No gear.....but it does still spin. I have to agree that this is a downgrade then. Still, I do like the figure.

Yeah, same here ^_^ I think I might get Quake Beast too...I'm just hoping the head is in fact changed to darker purple.

Has anyone noticed that the box quake beast has a darker purple head/mask mould? I wonder if perhaps the toy fair version was just preliminary and they actually made his head darker.....that would make him much more alluring for me at least....some colour consistency. I hope this is the case, as I honestly feel like the beasts are in some ways more solid than the skull villains......but also weaker structurally than the skull villains. I feel like Lava Beast is virtually for model use only....because that torso construction, the legs....those wont hold up well at all during rough play, or play in general. Other than that, it is my favourite looking of the beasts....such a shame that it looks so incomplete from the back. Storm beast has, like Lava beast, incredible colours, but I dislike the idea that the back of it is so ugly. The function is definitely the most innovative and interesting of the bunch...but that's all I really like about the set. Quake beast looks to me like the most solid of the three (we'll see up close whenever it gets released). Other than the colours being off for the Toy Fair version (again I hope this was a preliminary piece), this one is kinda my wild card. I kinda dig it. Ekimu and Umarak are definitely the coolest of the wave.....I'm going to have to save up to probably buy them all.

Wow.....the Hoth Echo Base is perhaps one of my least favourite sets I've ever seen (not that I own it, just by watching reviews my perception of the set is not a positive one).... -
Kopaka still wears his gold mask from what I can tell...could be rendering.

Yay!!! http://brickset.com/...images-released You know, I wasn't too into Ekimu the Mask Maker....but since getting his Protector version....I think I'll pick this one up. He looks pretty solid and fun to play around with.
