Aw, LEGO actually had some hidden messages in Okotan in JtO thanking fans for their support! This comes from the TTV boards :)

I actually could see LEGO perhaps releasing a final Makuta set in the near future....perhaps if fans want it so badly. I wouldn't be expecting it, however, other than perhaps releasing the MOUP in another way and releasing combiner instructions for the character. I'm sure it's an open end there....but it is highly unlikely.

Well.....I'm pretty sure that Bionicle didn't do well because....it just didn't. The kids of this generation are different from those who grew up with G1. They just clearly didn't seem that interested (of course, this is my theory as to why Bionicle's run has ended so quickly). I'm sure the line ended because sales were not good, and likely because sales of Star Wars constraction sets might have been better. I don't know for sure, I don't even know whether SW constraction is doing that well anyway. All I can say is....I've been kinda expecting this for months now since I heard all that odd talk in January from LEGO stores telling me the theme was cancelled. I'm not surprised, but I'm happy to have gotten what we've gotten. Really cool tv series, art, awesome sets, the coolest masks I've ever seen in Bionicle...it's all been super great. I'm not angry at LEGO, I actually kind of understand. Disappointed, but still satisfied with what we got.

Ok.....the MOUP is a disappointment maybe for you, which is fine. Everyone likes different things. There's no need to insult the designers just because you don't like what they came up with.

Oh yeah I love the Overlord version. It's my favourite one of the three :D

I suppose JtO might end with Makuta back and about to wreak havoc on Okoto? I hope so....I want to see more versions of the Toa :)

I dunno...is that version of Makuta going to be a set though? It looks like it would be high in piece count and much higher in price. To me it looks a tad unfinished. Very cool elements though, I particularly like the drill and the belt of masks he has on himself. Like if they used this version of Makuta in JTO, wouldn't that mean that this is actually the set we are going to get? I'm down for posable fingers :P

I don't know actually if he'll be a Titan...the form he is presented in during the trailer makes him look like an extra bulky protector. We shall see soon enough I suppose.

Love this set. He's exactly how I expected him to be.

I also read Escape from the Underworld, and I have quite the opposite take on it. Way too many loose ends, a thumbs up for effort, very straight forward story....overall, I did not enjoy it at all. But that's just me.

Mmmm I have to say the animations and JtO are much better than any of the films released in G1. Personal opinion. I did like the idea behind LoMN, but felt the execution was lacking. Metru Nui story arc was really awesome.

On for me there's not doubt about it. G2 is waaaaay better than G1...I actually dig the story being simpler. Means I can follow it from one source rather than having to read a bunch of books or website posts. Love the sets, they are so much better than pretty much any set from G2, aesthetically and functionally.

Finally have him in hand....and I don't know what to make of him. I like that he's a large build, I appreciate so,e of the techniques used, the colours are fine, love the hands.....but I dunno I feel like there's something missing with this guy. Still awesome.
