I do not think that will happen. They mentioned they were not allowed to disclose some of the details shared with them by the lego team. Pretty sure we'll have to see what happens in the coming months.

BS01's interviews with the LEGO team should be coming out soon according to their most recent podcast released on the 10th of June.

This is what I was pretty much suspecting....I don't think kids are as into action figures in the modern day than they were in the past few decades.

Petty sure it's two reasons: 1. Pride, he was wearing the Mask of Creation which gave him an insane power boost, thus he thought he would be strong enough to finish them, 2. Ekimu wasn't necessarily recognizable...he wore a protector mask, not his own mask....maybe he mistook Ekimu for a normal protector? Or he maybe thought that Ekimu, once recognized, was powerless without his mask of creation?

I don't think he should actually....and I'm not sure how they'll go about the summer wave. I really hope it's not the case that Ekimu saves the day...because the Toa should experience some growth..then again I wouldn't be surprised if they do end it that way. Ekimu could transform into big Ekimu just to give the Toa time to regroup, so they finish off Umarak and the beasts.

Yeah...I really have to think that they'll make at least something for 2017. We'll have to see in the coming few months.

That's a fair point and I would also have to agree with you on that, I guess I'm trying to be more optimistic about this.

Ok, no. Bionicle isn't going to end with Umarak being defeated...it was guaranteed at least a third year. I would probably assume it would get one last wave if anything, but there is no way it is ending on that note. Aanchir is right about the marketing and money aspect too. You can't just assume something will do well because you generously funded its marketing, which is why I've never understood the arguments saying that the theme isn't doing well because of lack of marketing. Honestly, the theme, if it's not doing well, likely is not doing well because of a simple lack of interest by children in the theme.

Just got SB.....and it is a lovely set! I changed my vote to outstanding. Innovative new function, great colours, decent enough design....I'm very happy with it!

Has anyone seen a commercial for the summer 2016 wave yet?

So having finally played some of the new Mask of Control game, I have a few things to say, wonder about, etc. Firstly, where are the beasts? They have Umarak (who by the way is AWESOME in the game....makes me want to build the set that much more). Second, Onua's chest is gold...which makes me wonder whether he was supposed to be mostly gold, but they changed his design later on...or it could be the game design only had access to the original versions of the Toa. Third, playing as Gali is my favourite thing about the game so far......she just is awesome. Kudos to Onua too, he's a pretty fun character to use. On an unrelated note, I really, really hope we get at least a third wave of Toa....I would love to see their final designs.

As a massive fan of trans neon green, I'm looking forward to this guy. I love the mask....not sure how ill like the jaw. The functions are ok, but I do not mind the overall look of the figure. Not my favourite for now, but definitely up there.

He's probably the best all around set of the wave. Decent functions, great look, decent colours, decent build. Not as interesting as other though...kind of a safe bet.

I don't know whether this one is truly my least favourite set....I'll know for sure whenever I actually get it....but for now, it's perhaps my least favourite solely from the gaps. The function is fine, the colours actually work better than I thought they would, and I dig the asymmetrical ugliness that this one has. A decent set.

Very clearly a well designed set. It is also above average for me because I can't stand how they've been using that torso build....it just feels weak. The functions are nothing special, but the colours and overall look are excellent. He's on par for me with SB

I'm yet to build and play around with SB, but he seems at least above average for me if anything. This one is a case where function did trump aesthetic, and the opposite is true of LB. I still think that function is going to be really cool to play around with, but definitely wish SB had been a bit more fleshed out...if it had been a larger set like Umarak, that could have been the case.

Mmmm.....I'm a tad disappointed by the sets themselves for Rogue One. Something seems to be lacking for a few of them, but I'll reserve final judgement for when we get clearer pics. AT-ST seems like the must-buy of the wave...TIE striker might be cool, especially for its minifigure selection. Not sure about the Shuttle, but I do not like the U-wing design at all. That's not LEGO's fault, ditto with the tank. Just...they're not aesthetically pleasing to my eyes. Minifigures rock as usual though.

I don't think it's because the sets are too expensive...... It could be perhaps due to the fact that maybe LEGO system is a more popular toy? Kids love collecting the minifigures, the sets usually have functions, they can be taken apart and used to build other sets (yeah I know, so can constraction pieces...but this seems different)...maybe the lustre for action figures is decreasing for kids? Again, I don't know, but I have to wonder whether action figures are dying out as it were. I don't know how the Star Wars constraction figures are doing sales wise, nor do I know whether Bionicle is truly doing poorly. However, from mere inference....to me it just doesnt seem like the theme (Bionicle) is doing well at all...if it was, why on earth is it being omitted from so many stores? The Uniters were available almost immediately in most stores around me, the same was true of the waves preceding that one. This wave however......I am only able to purchase the sets online.

Bionicle getting cancelled again is really not that surprising. I think we can look forward to maybe seeing one more wave and it will likely conclude with that wave.

I don't buy that....it originally said on the site that both were coming out June 1st

Could this mean that Bionicle is ending of he is no longer working on future sets? I know, it's silly, however it's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this post.

Umm.....Quake Beast and Umarak are no longer listed on the Canadian site.....
