  1. I may sound like an echo, but I thought it was a huge Jedi Archives until I read your description and realized "Oh! It actually IS forced perspective!" Incredible! Loads of detail everywhere you look. Great job
  2. Is it annoying if someone changes their EB avatar picture a lot?
  3. I visited my local Lego store yesterday and picked up the Carnage set. It's really a great set, and for $12.99 you can't pass it up. However, there were a few things that bugged me so I set about modifying the set slightly. The first step was to fix the SHIELD agent. He was a bit too cartoony for my taste. 76036 Mods by mediumsnowman, on Flickr As for the hover-vehicle, I swapped a few pieces around, bulked up the back, and added a tailfin. 76036 Mods by mediumsnowman, on Flickr 76036 Mods by mediumsnowman, on Flickr 76036 Mods by mediumsnowman, on Flickr 76036 Mods by mediumsnowman, on Flickr I think it looks much better like this, especially the SHIELD agent. What do you think? Has anyone else modded any sets of this wave? If so I'd love to see them!
  4. I figured he was just knocked out and left in the wreckage of the mech... Great build! The brick built scope is great and the crab with the giant eye is a nice touch.
  5. Wow! I love it! My favorite part has to be the truck with the cradle though
  6. Stunning! I love everything about it, from the doors to the spiral columns to the crates to the holo screens on the roof, not to mention the wonderful rockwork! The jeep reminds me of the ones from Jurassic Park. Great job all around!
  7. The rocks look good, but the water could use some variation. Just my two cents
  8. Nice build and story! When I was looking through the pictures on Flickr before I saw the whole story, I thought the shadow guy from Mafia games was making a cameo
  9. NOTE: This is a direct continuation of the story begun in Dannylonglegs build Cheknov's Gauntlet Location: F04- Illustria Tags: Spying, Piracy, Spaceship, Civil Onboard the OCS Axle, 1200 Hours. Octan Special Forces Break room. "Attention all Special Forces agents. This is Dr. Danielle Long. There has been a breach and an escaped prisoner has launched an escape pod and is en route to Illustria as we speak. Find him and subdue him with non-lethal force. This is not a drill. It is imperative he is recaptured as soon as possible. I repeat, this is not a drill." "You heard her. Let's move out." "This is Jebediah O'Reilly reporting in from Illustria. We've found the escape pod but there's no sign of the prisoner." "It's empty." "Ambush! Get down!" "Aaaaarrrrrrgggggggg!" "Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! Sssshhhhoooooooootttttt hhhiiiiiiiimmmmm!" "Fire!" "This is Jebediah O'Reilly. We've subdued the prisoner but I've got two agents down with minor electrical burns. Thank the Lord the Gauntlet was on its non-lethal setting. Requesting immediate extraction and medical attention." "Good work agents. Let's get him back to the Axle." Whew! Thanks for reading through all that! As usual, comments and criticism welcome. Did anyone catch my Jurassic Park reference?
  10. That Thanos is pretty great! How'd you do Taskmasters shield?
  11. Pretty cool! Would love to see in real bricks.
  12. Eventually I'll make my way down to the LEGO Store and pick up Carnage SHIELD Sky Attack
  13. Please transfer 40 credits to Bob
  14. Incredible! Love the windows and cityscape. The guards remind me of someone I know...
  15. Your best and most hilarious build yet! Love the alien and hardsuits! Favorite part has to be the dialogue about losing your hair when you put on the suit. "That makes sense." "NO IT DOESN'T!" The penetrator has a... Um... Interesting shape! Fantastic build!
  16. Very cool! It seems Jed never can get the upper hand on that darn duck... I wonder, can you actually fit a figure in the hover car?
  17. Nice, clean build! I have to say I expected some sort of mention of Jeb's offer though...
  18. [Challenge 2] [Cat A] OF63 "Ace of Spades" Excerpt from the Octan Corporate Guide to Spacecraft, pg. 345: The OF63 is the latest in a long line of Octan single-seat fighters. This particular model has been dubbed "Ace of Spades" due to its near dominance of space warfare. Don't let it's sleek profile and spindly guns fool you; this fighter packs a punch! To access the full file on the "Ace of Spades" click below. Thanks for looking! Comments and criticism are welcome!
  19. Thanks! That bit is actually the edge of my photobox. I almost cropped it out but I'm kinda paranoid about having my EB photos exactly 800x600
  20. Thank you! If I make any more water builds I'll definitely try to implement that. Unfortunately as I built this I was running low on tan plates. Maybe it's time to visit Bricklink again...
  21. I thought Hans was banned from alcohol...
  22. What's this? What's going on with this? **Photo credit to a_f_o_l_man on Instagram**
