[HELP] Designing Gear System
Jurss replied to Malou's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Biggest toothgear seems too small, to put it in to center. Maybe there coulb be used big turntable. But it also seems, that there is no correct centre, where to put some central gear. -

AOW, thank You for idea, but it seems hard to implement without studded beams. I'm looking now on some motorcycles, which have specific solutions. -

Tryed to build something american, like Stucked on engine. I wanted to put there normal V8, but it's too big for wheels i chose. Steering wheel is allready somewhere in the middle of the car. I'm afraid, that moving it more to front, also wont help ... -

Maybe this was planned as next ultimate collection car from Lego, and that's why new panels were made. Maybe this is still in development by Lego, You just were faster. -

42056 - Porsche Speculation
Jurss replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Two very interesting quotes from interview Will there be more Porsches? -
Don't have money, don't buy it, or find possibility to earn more. I'm not complainning, that I can't by yet some real Porsche 911, I'm trying to earn more. When there will be instructions, I'll try to build it with my existing parts, and then buy something, that's missing. I won't by those specific rims, I'll use what i have. I'll just buy some panels, which i don't have, when they will be available separately.

I thought about it, but at first sight it didn't fit. One idea just came to my mind. I will try. If it won't work, then i need to make everything longer at least by one stud. -

[MOC] Bell Log Loader
Jurss replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
As I had now 2 L and 2 M motors, decided to make V2 2 L motors for drive 2 M motors for functions. No gearbox needed anymore. Boom now closer to the real one. No XL motor, so also not so good contrwaight anymore. more pictures http://bricksafe.com/pages/Jurss/bell-log-loader -

Slipping tires around rims
Jurss replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, i exchanged them. Older tires were not slipping on newer rims and also on old.
