    My guess (based on zero insider information) is that we'll have a pre-movie wave and a post-movie wave of sets. The first will focus on the characters who appear in the marketing, and the second will contain characters whose presence in the movie would be a spoiler.

    The Bond movies and books are definitely for an adult audience, but there is a series of Young Bond young adult novels, and there was a James Bond, Jr. cartoon. So they've definitely tried to open the brand up to a younger audience.

    This is so dumb, but I'm almost positive that the reason they didn't do that was that they didn't want to have a point in the building process where it made Ariel look like she was... uh... "in a state of undress."

    Around where I live, at least, I have the feeling that LEGO sales have slowed. Inventory doesn’t seem to be moving nearly as quickly as a year or two ago, and it took a few weeks before I saw every Infinity War set on the shelves. I wonder if retailers who might have put the AMATW set up early in previous years are now just trying to move the product that’s been sitting there for months.

    Maybe not on Bricks and Pieces, but they'll almost certainly be available on BrickLink. This is a set that begs to be parted out. At least half of the value is the electronics.

    Only in that LEGO has existing relationships with those brands and licensors, and they've been interested in collaborating previously. I don't think there was anything written into the Dimensions licensing agreements for Brickheadz, but it's probably a lot easier for LEGO to work with someone who they've worked with in the past than it is for them to put together a proposal from scratch.

    So now that the third DC summer set has been revealed (the app-controlled Batmobile), and it only contains one Batman figure, does anyone know what's up with the rumored Copperhead and Grundy figures? Is there a fourth retail-exclusive set that has not yet been announced? Were those rumors not actually true? Not trying to pester anyone to reveal additional information, just trying to get clarification on the existing rumors.

    I know this is slightly off-topic, but since I'm responsible for the mistake, the article was from BrickFAN, not BrickSET. I don't want to slander anyone... especially when I'm complaining that they're not being up front with their corrections of misinformation!

This is embarrassing. It's like an Ideas submission that failed to get 100 votes.

    Yeah, when I looked at the slate of MCU movies coming out in the next 10-12 months, it didn't seem to leave a lot of room for non-movie sets in the release calendar. Plus, I'm pretty sure that the movie-based sets have consistently outsold the non-movie sets on average. Does Marvel even have any high-profile animated series aimed at Lego's target demographic (kids 8-14) right now? I don't count Marvel Rising, since that seems like it's just going to be a handful of digital shorts and one animated movie, at this point.

    I’ve got my fingers crossed for an unofficial tie-in Spidey set that includes Venom, like LEGO did for the Suicide Squad sets. I think it’s a long shot at best, but at least there’s some precedent for it...

    It's a pretty badly worded sentence with multiple possible readings. But if the Thanos we got was helmeted because Lego was working off of old/incomplete concept art, I don't think having another month or two would have made much difference as far as getting a more movie-accurate version. And I REALLY doubt that they'd put out another Thanos fig in a single, retail-exclusive summer set, when they've got at least one more entire wave of sets for Avengers 4 coming out in less than a year. Plus, the retail exclusive licensed sets seem to usually run around $30-50, and there is no way that they'd put a Thanos fig in a set that costs less than $70 when 71607 is still available. I don't have any insider info, but there's really no compelling evidence to suggest that we'll see another Thanos before 2019, and there are a lot of reasons why we won't.

    So given that the Jessica Cruz GL is going to be packaged with the Aquaman DVD, does anyone have any info about which minifig will be included with the new DC Visual Dictionary that comes out this fall?

    You seemed pretty confident that we were only getting one Ant-Man set, and that it would be a Walmart exclusive. Neither of those things seems to be true. So when you ask us to "trust you..."
