  1. I voted for Iron Man as my favorite (LEGO) Avenger and for the Iron Man Mark 6 suit as my favorite minifigure. Both versions of Iron Man look great, but I just like that inverted triangle a lot more Regards, Mitch
  2. Thanks for the Iron Man close-up pictures! He looks terrific, really. But I hope that his head will be double-printed. I'd hate my Tony Stark to walk around, looking like that all day Regards, Mitch
  3. Wow, thanks for these pictures I'm really loving Iron Man. His face seems very cool. Not sure which sets to buy yet. I'd like to have Black Widow, but the Quinjet set is so big and expensive So I'll probably stick with The Hulk's Helicarrier Escape, Loki's Cosmic Cube and Captain America's cycle. And the Wolverine-set, of course Regards, Mitch
  4. Today I picked up the 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor at A-Tembo (a Dutch computer store with a little LEGO department in Delft). I'm glad to finally have it, the ship is really cool, I think, and the minifigs are awesome Regards, Mitch
  5. Ooh, it's posted here as well. Awesome This trailer is just as awesome as the previous ones. I'm still wondering though, why they are fighting each other. Something tells me it has to do with the recruiting, at least partly. Ah man, I so can't wait till May 4th Regards, Mitch
  6. I actually prefer the hair Black Widow currently has as a minifig. It resembles her appearance in Iron Man 2, not to mention her (general) comic version. I actually don't like how Black Widow looks in The Avengers, with the short(er) hair, so... And I, too, would like to find out what set Nick Fury's gonna be in Regards, Mitch
  7. WHOA! Epic I'm loving Iron Man again The sets all look great, but Loki is in a lot of them The truck that comes with the 'Loki's Escape'-set is cool, but I think I'll pass on that. Wolverine's Chopper Showdown looks awesome as well Regards, Mitch
  8. Great review! Loved the part with the Big Mac :grin I agree about the cocky grin not being suitable for Superman. I would've preferred something like a scared or pained look (for when he's near Kryptonite) or a friendly one, for after he's saved a kitten from a tree But a Clark Kent one, with glasses, would've been perfect But, alas. Still, it's a great set, I'd say. Though I will be using the trans-green parts as some other uses for Kryptonite (like a cage or whatever). Regards, Mitch
  9. Crap, I remember, now. You're perfectly right. Of course Anyhoo. I'm not really sure which version I'd rather have as a LEGO figure, though I guess it's safe to say that it will be the movie-version. I am also actually disliking the Iron Man helmet, as well. I liked it first, but now I like it less and less everyday. I know they want it to actually open up to reveal Tony's face, but I'd rather have to seperate heads (or, rather, two seperate minifigs than this. I'm usually not this, euh... picky/whiny about things, but for some reason I couldn't let this issue go Regards, Mitch
  10. Which video was that? And where can I find it? Or was that the vid that was mentioned a long while ago? Also, Samuel L. Jackson-Fury is also a comic version. The Ultimate Fury is african american, his appearance is actually based on Samuel L. Jackson. So it's not surprising he portrays the character in the movies Regards, Mitch
  11. Wow. Those sith troopers look....advanced. I like it Malgus seems to look really cool as well, judging by the piece of armor you can see. About Jace Malcolm, he seems to be very preliminary as well. His head is the one from the latest Boba Fett, I think. The hairpiece might be new, but it seems kinda familiar to me. And it might be that he does have a helmet (as well) in the final version. Which would be very cool. Regards, Mitch
  12. I guess that makes sense, djmangunz, about Thor and Loki's return. Interesting, though, about the possibility of a Civil War story in the movies... I'm not really sure how... plausible that would be. Considering the story arc consists of almost every Marvel character... And, like Oky, I'd rather see them fighting together again, in the next Avengers movie (and keep them all seperate in sequels of their respective solo-films). Regards, Mitch
  13. Haha, I know, right. I loved that part too And I agree with the 'awesomesauce' as well I don't really care about Hawkeye, my favorite characters in this movie are the ones that have their own already: Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Captain America. The others are cool too, but still. I'm actually wondering how they got Thor to Earth, as the bridge from Asgard was destroyed in the Thor movie.... But maybe we'll see that in the next Thor movie, and Avengers is supposed to be after that, chronologically? Regards, Mitch
  14. Oh hey, nice spot Looks very cool indeed Nice picture of Iron Man and Thor, by the way, haha Hope to see more soon! Regards, Mitch
  15. Barbara Gordon's hair and Black Widow's hair are both actually a very different red Hope to see some Super Heroes pictures from the toy far as well Regards, Mitch
  16. Coincidentally I visited Top1Toys and ToysXl today. Neither had anything so far. Top1Toys didn't even have the new SW line yet. That is very true indeed. So I guess I'll stick to Top1Toys then. And yeah, there is always the S@H indeed Thanks for the reply Regards, Mitch
  17. Wow, very nice The Sentinel looks very alike and I also love the action pose you set up. Great job Regards, Mitch
  18. Hey guys, I have a question for my fellow dutchmen... Do any of you know when and where the exclusives such as Anakin's Jedi Interceptor will arrive? 'cause I keep reading about stores such as Target and TRU, but as we don't have that one in Holland I was wondering which store might sell the exclusives... Thanks in advance! Mitch
  19. Good question. I believe there used to be one, but it wasn't very popular or something. So it hasn't been posted in for ages. Otherwise it's always okay to just talk about it in here. As this is the general SW-topic Regards, Mitch
  20. No offense, but like hell it is. In TCW the faces are... weird, and their hair looks like it's made out of clay or something, always perfectly in shape. In the cinematic trailers from SW: TOR the characters look really realistic, and they almost look the same in the game itself. @ DarthR2-D2: In February, around my birthday Hope to see better pics of the SW: TOR sets by then. Those are definitely my most anticipated set of the entire here (based on what is known and confirmed so far) Regards, Mitch
  21. Good question, actually I've only recently started swapping the more generic faces (mainly of imperial and rebel troops/officers) with others. Like Indy, for example. Also Dastan and the faces from the Death Watch folks (I use them for Imps only, though ) Of course I don't change the clones' heads. I did however use some other villain-type faces from Indy sets to create some diversity in Batman henchmen. Regards, Mitch
  22. That was actually an entirely different scene But it would be a cool play feature indeed. I'm glad the Palpatine's Arrest-set might be produced after all. I'd really love to have a non-CW Palpatine. The same goes for a non-CW Mace Windu. Regards, Mitch
  23. I thought I'd tell you guys what I'd like to see. DC Universe: The Daily Planet Just a nice building, preferably around the size of the modular building sets like Café Corner, but it'll probably be smaller. More like the latest City bank. For figures I was thinking the obvious: Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Perry White, Jimmy Olsen. Perhaps Kat Grant as well. The Kent Farm: Some nice buildings, representing their home and a large shed. Maybe a nice tractor and of course the red pick-up truck. Figures: Jonathan and Martha Kent. Possibly a Clark Kent as well, though in different clothes than the DP. I always imagined Clark to be more himself when he's at the farm, so no Supes-outfit, but no glasses and stuff either. Lex Corp. Kinda the same as the DP-building. With Lex, some other business men, perhaps a few scientists. And in the basement you'd have some shady stuff going on. Perhaps the creation of Metallo I'd also love to a set that generally has more Justice League characters, namely Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Supergirl/Kara Kent (or is she not a JL-member?) and Black Canary. Marvel Universe: I won't make any Avengers-related wishes, as there are sets coming out of that theme and I'd rather wait to see what they are like. X-Mansion A nice large building representing the Xavier School for the Gifted. Includes a classroom or two, prof. X' office and the Danger Room. Minifigures: Professor Xavier, Scott Summers (wearing red shades, not his visor), Jean Grey, Hank McCoy (actually just Beast in a labcoat and everything) and Bobby Drake. It would be nice to have their X-men suits available as well, in the Danger Room or something, but that'd probably be seen as a bit useless. As those would be minifigs without heads and hands. The Blackbird A plane about the size of the space shuttle. Figures: Cyclops, Beast, Storm, Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue and they'd be fighting Magneto, Juggernaut, Mystique and Pyro. That's it for now, perhaps I'll think of more later on Regards, Mitch
  24. Thanks for posting that I love that Green Lantern is included as well, it makes for more variety as well. Though I hoped for characters like Green Arrow as well, but alas. Regards, Mitch
  25. True, but the TOR version is rather different. Which makes sense since TOR takes place about 300 years after KotOR. The ion engines are positioned differently and the color scheme has changed as well. Would be cool to see that one in LEGO as well, though Regards, Mitch
