Wow, it's been a while since I've been here, but everything new since the last time I was here looks terrific as usual! I'm not that familiar with (and/or that big a fan of) a lot of characters, but your drawing style itself is amazing too. You recreate LEGO minifigures amazingly without making them look out of shape (like I feel is the way with some promo art, every now and then) That said, your Flash vs. Reverse Flash and the 'Shazam family picture' are really awesome! Regards, Mitch

Wow, awesome pics! Thanks for whoever provided them! I'm not a big fan of Guardians of the Galaxy (not familiar with them, actually, so maybe that'll change after I've seen the movie) but I'll definitely buy the smallest set. Star Lord's face is really cool, I can use that for several things. His torso looks nice as well Regards, Mitch

Thanks, Mr Man Here's another question... I own the cd album 'Best of Thunderbirds', which has CD 1 with 29 soundtracks on it, all from the series and CD 2 with bonus soundtracks, including a story told by Lady Penelope or something. I never bothered to listen to CD 2, so... But I noticed that it definitely doesn't have all musical pieces from the series on the CD(s)... Does anyone know where I might find a list of all the musical pieces that appeared in the series (so that I can check which ones I'm missing, by name)? Or maybe someone can tell me beforehand that just not all of them made it to a CD or whatever? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Mitch

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
CF Mitch replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hey guys, a question.... Does anybody else have the 75044 Droid Tri-Fighter, yet? I purchased it several days ago (mainly for the Palpatine fig, though) and I can't seem to build the triple arches properly. You're supposed connect hinge-pieces to each other and then bend those to create the arch-shape... but the hinges keep disconnecting because, when bent, they're pulled apart... Does anybody recognize this, and perhaps have a solution? Or maybe (probably) I'm just doing something wrong, and might someone be willing to carefully explain to me how I'm supposed to do it? Regards, Mitch -
Thanks very much for that detailed description, Dr Leg O Brick I'll definitely be on the lookout for the Complete Book of Thunderbirds now, it sounds amazing. Also, out of curiosity... how do you guys pronounce 'Gerry'... as 'Jerry' or 'Gary'? 'cause from my point of view (if you will), the dutch language, it can be either way, and I'd like to know for sure Regards, Mitch
-
Oh, my God... Those LEGO Thunderbirds MOCs Thanks for that link, Dr. Leg O Brick !! And those Complete Books sound really interesting as well. Do they also provide info and schematics on vehicles and gear and such? 'Cause I'd really like to properly know all that from Thunderbirds, by now (though you'll probably end up suggesting I watch the episodes more carefully ) Regards, Mitch

Two Kashyyyk BP's, two Utapau BP's and the AT-AP Regards, Mitch

Hello! For my fellow dutchmen, A-Tembo in Delft and Breda (and their webshop) have a lot of the new SW LEGO. They definitely have the three BP's, the AT-AP, the droid gunship, Grievous' wheelbike and the set with the BARC speeder. Regards, Mitch

Episode VI - Pit of carkoon - Sarlacc Diorama
CF Mitch replied to markus1984's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Truly, truly amazing. (that's all I'll say about it, everything else coming out of my mouth will be unintelligable, combined with drooling and such) Regards, Mitch -
Cammo: Thor doesn't have a beard in the original comic version, which this minifig seems to be based on As is the case with the Hulk, noticable by the purple pants Thanks for the picture, BrickG! Of these sets, I'll be buying the Hulk Lab Smash, Captain America vs. Hydra, and the Dock Ock Truck Heist. They have some really cool looking figures (MODOK is a slight disappointment, though..) Regards, Mitch

Oh, really? Huh, last time I checked it had a release date of may 30th... Then again, I should've known the sets will come out much earlier than that... Regards. Mitch

Bol.com is being ridiculous. A couple of weeks ago it tried to sell me a game strategy guide for €26, when almost all of them (no matter what game/-series) are €19. Those prices go up and down all the time. I wouldn't pay any atttention to it until the sets are officially released. It's actually pretty ridiculous the sets are on the site already... About the microfighters. They don't seem particularly interesting to me. Kinda cute, yeah, but that's it. Some of the figures look very useful though. But as said, it's a bit too expensive to use the microfighters as army builders (for example, with the Phase II Clone troopers in the micro turbotank). Speaking of which, are the white (standard) non-CW Phase II clone troopers 'scheduled to make an appearance', or? Regards, Mitch

Whoah, thanks! Palpatine looks really amazing. Though, indeed, his wrinkles and stuff look a bit too thick. Oh, well Regards, Mitch
-
Whoohoo! Thanks for the pics, nrg! The Clone Shocktroopers that come with the Gunship are awesome. I hope they'll be able to fit in with the regular Phase II clones. Chancelor Palpatine looks amazing as well. To be honest, I'll end up buying the two sets just for those three figs Regards, Mitch

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
CF Mitch replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Yes! People posted in this topic again, now I can tell my experiences without double posting First things first, though: You don't have to finish the story mode before you can select characters while Free Roaming. I thought so as well, at first. But if you just use one of those S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle points you can select a different character and from then on just select them using Triangle or 'Y' or whatever button it is on your console So. I got the game a week ago yesterday. Started playing right away and LOVE it. Story was very well done, as was the voice acting. A lot of voices really reminded me of versions from tv-shows and movies and such. I still think Tony Stark's voice was off, but I guess I'm used to Robert Downey Jr. too much Also, I got both the Spider-Man keychain and the Iron Patriot minifig as a bonus when I picked the game up. I was so thrilled when I found out There was also a card with a code for the Asgard Pack! I hope the strategy guide I ordered arrives soon so I can finish up collecting characters and playing the extra levels earned by collecting Gold Bricks Regards, Mitch -
Whoah, coolness! Yes, I am a Fanderson Mainly Thunderbirds. There's still so much of that show, that affects me today. Or if anything reminds me of the type of machinery used by International Rescue. I always have a slight nerdgasm when I see that type of equipment I have all the episodes on dvd, the two movies, Thunderbirds Are Go and Thunderbird 6 plus the live-action movie (please don't kill me ) Captain Scarlet I used to love as well. A lot less now, though. It's mainly nostalgia at the moment. Stingray is the only other show I actually know and watch(ed) besides the previous two. It has a certain charm as well, but the fish people scare the crap out of me, nine out of ten times Also, all the people who had or have Thunderbirds costumes: Being very jealous here. For many years as a kid, everytime my aunt went to England or somewhere in the U.S. or Canada on vacation I'd ask her to look for a costume but she always came back empty handed Regards, Mitch

Thanks for the HD pictures, Vénérable Zaïus Wow, those are some awesome sets. Too bad Tarfull and Chewie weren't switched, but I guess they did that on purpose. No new Chewie for me then (until it's sold for a reasonable price at Bricklink or something) Love the Utupau and Kashyyyk Troopers battlepacks Will definitely be buying those. The AT-AP and Grievous' Wheelbike as well. That new Grievous is awesome Not too sure about the V-wing yet. It looks great and so do the minifigs, but I already have three of it (1 one the first also in red and grey and 2 of the imperial black one)... That Republic AV Cannon is from the TCW show, right? Think I'll pass on that one, just as the Droid Gunship and the Battle of Saleucami. Regards, Mitch

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced

GambitClops, hahaha. Awesomeness Cool thanks. I have a lot of imagination, so if for exampe 'my' Logan and Scott and up wearing the same jackets or whatever, so be it. But I take it there isn't a head/face with red, normal glasses, then (as opposed to Cyke's actual visor)? Regards, Mitch -

Thanks for your input as well, The Legonator. I think I'll be pretty satisfied with LMSH's character creator, by the sound of your statement And I'm also glad you like the game so much. 'cause I was starting to get a little afraid about the game in general, due to some negative reviews in this topic Regards, Mitch -
Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
CF Mitch replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Thanks for the intel, Bobsy. I've noticed, since... LSW III, I think, that the creator isn't as extensive as it used to be. In the earlier games you'd get every part from every character, as seen in LSW: The Complete Saga. To be honest, I can't remember how it is in LHP1-4 and LEGO Batman, but I believe it was already far less in those games. Which kinda saddens me. I always like creating different versions of characters. For example, in LMSH I would like to create civilian-clothed versions of Cyclops and Wolverine and such. Now, I assume that will still be possible (all I need is Cyke's head with visor and some civilian looking clothes) but would that be the limit then, or...? Regards, Mitch -
