  1. Damn, it's very good to hear the nothing in the summer wave will be comic based. Still leaves a lot of options of course, 'cause it could all be MCU Endgame, but also older MCU films. Good grief, I'm getting hyped Regards, Mitch
  2. Sorry, wasn't my intention to imply that. I just think it's unlikely they'll pass up an opportunity to produce those minifigures. But we've all been surprised by LEGO before, so Regards, Mitch
  3. Thanks for answering, guys! I wasn't aware there's only one confirmed D+ based set coming up. For some reason I was under the impression several series would get sets. Anyhoo, in that case it makes sense if WV is skipped in favor of, probably, FatWS. Given the popularity of the show and characters, though, I think it's still likely we might get Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness in the CMF.
  4. Ooohh, I see. Not that much of a big deal as I thought, then Also, it's not guaranteed a WandaVision LEGO set will be announced then, right? Regards, Mitch
  5. Can someone please remind me, what is supposed to be on monday again? Some sort of event regarding new Marvel merchandise? For WandaVision, I still think it's likely it might be more sitcom based, including the house and 'Scarlet Witch' Wanda, Vision and Agnes/Agatha Harkness as minifigs. Regards, Mitch
  6. so true! It's indeed odd, but a fun little surprise, nonetheless. I won't be getting it, but I can see the appeal for many. Though, as someone stated earlier; why expand on Venomized variants when we don't even have a (regular) Symbiote Spider-Man yet? Oh, well. There's potential in these types of sets Regards, Mitch
  7. Hehe, intriguing, but I'm a 100% purist, so Thanks for the offer, though And I realized this thread isn't only about minifigs of course, so a few sets I'd like to see some day... Xavier Mansion, with a class room and dorm room or two, and the X-Men's underground base of operations. Minifigs: Prof. X, Rogue, Beast & Cyclops, perhaps Magneto and Sabretooth or a Sentinel as the bad guys. The Triskelion, would be cool to have as an Architecture type set Minifig: Jasper Sitwell, Alexander Pierce or Peggy Carter (Ant-Man prelude) Sanctum Sanctorum, a modular set Minifigs: Dr. Strange & Wong Regards, Mitch
  8. Lots of great wishlists over here! Figured I'd show mine as well (again, kinda). MCU: WWII Cap (at least the blue military helmet and the kite shield) Howard Stark (from CA and CA:CW, though maybe also Endgame, for the heck of it ) Peggy Carter (military outfit) Obediah Stane Mk III or IV armor Tony (bare chested with Arc Reactor) Rhodey (Airforce suit) Cap's stealth suit (including blue/grey shield) T'Challa (civilian robes) Thor (Endgame battle armor and Fat Thor) Comics etc: Scarlet Witch Iron Man armor model 49 (black with some gold, and red LEDs) The Lizard (a lá Spider-Man animated series) Cyclops (also from animated series) And for the rest I'm drawing a blank, somehow I'm sure more will come up some time later. Regards, Mitch
  9. Holy crap on a cracker! This an amazing build. It's so big and contains so many details, absolutely fantastic! Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna go back and look at it some more Regards, Mitch
  10. As much as I'd love an MCU based D2C with new minifigures (variants of existing characters or not), the idea of a comic-based D2C sounds very intriguing as well! So many possibilities, even without X-Men's Xavier Mansion (or whatever it's proper name is). But I think/agree an Avengers Mansion would be most likely, though I'm sure I'm forgetting other highly possible options! Regards, Mitch
  11. The list is not fake, but the information about 2 bigfigs was only someone's speculation, so nothing confirmed about that Regards, Mitch
  12. Got it, haha! Thanks Man, all this talk about Korg and (the possibility of him being in) the D2C is getting me excited I have no idea what would be most plausible for the D2C (Sanctuary, Asgard pre-Ragnarok, but I have to say, seeing that Korg headpiece has made me more interested in the minifigure. I do agree that it should be a minigfig, not a bigfig and think he'll look quite accurate.Korg was never that big compared to Thor and the others, unlike the Kronan from TDW. Regards, Mitch
  13. Not very interesting in Korg myself, but it's nice to see the inclusion of less familiar/popular characters in general @Lego-Freak what is your/the definition of 'legacy', in this context? Regards, Mitch
  14. Well, it was just a loose theory, but I still doubt they'll all be based on the Square Enix game. Which is also still possible of course, but not the only possibility, I believe. Regards, Mitch
  15. I was thinking this too. Who's to say all upcoming sets labeled 'Marvel Avengers' will be based off the videogame? Perhaps LEGO decided to look back and retroactively add some more MCU sets based on Endgame or even Infinity War. Or heck, even the older Avengers movies. And perhaps they are just comic-inspired, which might also bring some very interesting sets. If they're anything like that Bridge Battle from the Spider-Man subtheme. Regards, Mitch
  16. Amazing news about the advent calendar! This is shaping up to become a great year for LEGO Marvel Regards, Mitch
  17. Thanks for all the hard work, the new forum looks/feels great! Regards, Mitch
  18. Based on the new pictures of the Imperial Shuttle, I have to say it looks really great. But I don't see a lot of change from the current design, so I'm just gonna stick with that one Regards, Mitch
  19. Great to hear we'll be getting D+ sets! I hope it's at least a FatWS soldier set. Though, a WandaVision set in the style of Big Bang Theory and Friends might be fun as well Regards, Mitch
  20. Oh. That's gonna take a while then Thanks for answering! Regarding the reliability of MandRProductions, I had my doubts as well. When I heard he was the initial leaker of all this info, I thought, "wait, wasn't he the guy who kept producing false rumors and such?", but since, in this case, he is backed by people who are reliable, I'm going to assume the provided list is correct. Regardless, it never hurts to keep expectations low. Regards, Mitch
  21. The latter, for me. Both would be very cool to have and both have advantages regarding new minifigure pieces, but the armored version is also more plausible, in spite of Fat Thor's popularity, I believe. Regards, Mitch
  22. Holy moly, lots of incredible news! This might be a rather expensive year, compared to previous years The Mandalore Throne & Vault sounds intriguing, as does The Mandalorian Starfighter, the latter of which will have an new character as minifigure. Not too sure about the Bad Batch Shuttle yet, but it could be a very cool set as well. Same with the Imperial Troop Transport. I think I'll definitely want Moff Gideon's Cruiser, though. I always welcome new/more Imperial starships, so if it looks good -which I'm sure it will, at this point- I'll get it. Is there aaany indication on when we might expect pictures of this? Regards, Mitch
  23. This is still a possibility, though, right? I mean, from what I understand, the Marvel CMF is now confirmed and the other set numbers have no definite or confirmed content yet, so some of them could be based on Disney+ Regards, Mitch
  24. I'm sure there's a reason they made the smaller to begin with. Production costs, maybe, I dunno.. Looking at the HP CMF series, they are incredibly detailed and otherwise advanced compared to figures in regular sets, in my opinion. So perhaps that kind of thing isn't cost-effective anymore for 16 figures and the current pricing. (Disclaimer: these are all guesses of mine. I have zero knowledge in this sort of thing) Regards, Mitch
  25. YESSS!! An actual Marvel CMF! It doesn't matter to me if it's comics or MCU inspired, I'm sure either will produce at least a few excellent new additions! Can't wait to see what they'll be Regards, Mitch
