  1. Consider that most modern combine harvesters may have frontal tracks. They are quite complex machines. The rear wheels are motorized too.
  2. Claas telescopic handler/forklift/whatever can be easily done without new parts. Lego has the know how (and the license) to make this set easily with a fair price.
  3. And fully operative/motorized (with a good looking), if possible.
  4. To be honest, I thought it was a worse set. I am positively suprised. Double workindg PTO is love! Ok there is no space for a fake engine, and no dive trains, this a pity.
  5. I guess the lack of steering can be considered a "con". For the rest, the model looks pretty good.
  6. Ok but I am at home, I guess some playability is required. If even the real excavators can steer, I don't see any reason because this model can't. Ok for slow speed, but give it some mobility... I' am not saying I dislike this model, but the "weak" bucket wheel and the lack of steering make me a bit disappointed.
  7. The biggest thing that disappoints me is the lack of steering. It isn't able to turn left or right... is it realistic? Aren't real BWEs able to turn left or right? I hope there is space to install un motor per track and another motor for the main arm...
  8. Sorry guys, my mistake... I was catched by 42054 Claas Tractor... :(
  9. The bucket wheel arm can be motorized? Is there enough place for a new motor?
  10. Scania P360 Firetruck is awesome, but not pink, please! A Forklift like Jcb or Class?
  11. Another idea I've posted before it's a concrete mixer truck. The set could have this look: Or this one: I quote Gabi_BC for his B model idea, the ladle carrier. Or this one This model has power functions, fake engine, 4 wheels steering, turbable concrete drainpipe (sorry for my bad English, please correct me), adjustable with linear actuators (the same used to lift the ladle in the B model). New parts: round mixer parts, the round base, the central body and the upper part. I've only found a vehicle of that side, I would be happy to see bigger vehicles of that kind.
  12. O___O So it's in commerce!!! I was asking the release date...
  13. Do you think that a tunnel boring machine can be a nice set?
  14. Ok. I was absent during these weeks, I've just seen the long interview and it looks interesting.
  15. I am an old Lego fan. I was divided by Lego City (because the aestethics) and Lego Technic (because the functionalities). When Technic models became more "round shaped", they also became like skeletons, and it was very hard to cover them properly (unlike the previous models). The massive introduction of studless parts made things even harder, so the panels became necessary in order to add some more realism, but I guess there is only a compromise, stud and studless must "cooperate".
  16. Lamborghini Centenario is beautiful, but at the moment, Bugatti Chiron is my favourite car. I guess it will be one of the most interesing cars because the W 16 engine, the integral traction, the 7 speed gearbox, active aerodynamics, adjustable seats, realistic suspension geometry. A nice feature could be some color variants, so people can choose the model they like more.
  17. Sorry for the OT, but... I love all kind of trains: steam, diesel, electric. Freight or passengers... I am nostalgic about 12V Volt trains, because they were much more versatile ad funnier. I'm not sure if Technic is the most appropriate way to give us realistic and funny trains, but... bring back the most interesting features! Electric railroad switches, working signals, electric release wagons, maybe a working catenary for electric locomotives. I think freight and passenger trains should have specific motors (one with more traction, maybe with one more axle and one faster).
  18. I've juat finished reading the review. Very honest and well written review. Now I am pretty sure. I won't buy this set for the flaws that Jim mentioned above. I hope 42054 and 42055 will be more interesting.
  19. It's up to your tastes, basically. For example: if you look some reviews, you can have some good opinions. The 41999 set (limited edition 4x4 Crawler) seems a very good model in this review. http://www.eurobrick...topic=84293&st= Reviews may help you a lot.
  20. In this thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=94328 some of us post our ideas. You are welcome if you want to post yours.
  21. It's time to revive the glory of the wonderful 8275 Bulldozer with a new model. This new bulldozer has some new features that improve the fun and playability. The frontal blade can lift, rotate and tilt. https://www.youtube....p7vrsQ[/url] The bulldozer's blade can be disengaged and can be used the multidirectional angledozer blade. Or a "super blade" for heavier works. The "single tooth" rear ripper can detached as well and can lift and tilt. Blade and ripper are powered by linear actuators. The model has lights. New parts: Bigger tread sprocket wheels. Bigger wheels increase the realism and give more traction. New blade elements. Longer linear actuators used to lift the frontal blade. I hope you like this machine.
  22. So is there (at least) a rear PTO? Fake engine apart, what are the other "missing features" of this set? Is the rear lifter manual or electric?
  23. The more I look these modesl (A and B), the more I feel astonished. They are beautiful, well detailed, bulky and seem really funny to play. The only thing I think it needs improvements, is the "manual" arm lifting mechanism. I hope there is the space to install a motor.
  24. What do I want as a supercar? I cannot think anything else but a Bugatti Chiron. Looks Real model, full body, cowled (gears and other parts should be covered). Color: blue Bugatti. Scale: 1/8. Features W 16 engine (the most important thing I look for). Sequential 7 speeds gearbox (the second thing I look for). 4 wheel drive. Power Functions (Lights and/or motors), why not? Which of these features matter to me? Active aerodynamics Adjustable seats Realistic suspension geometry, Four wheel steering (but I don't know if the real model has this feature). Sequential gearbox is a must. Cockpit steering for the sake of realism. What kind of new parts would I want? New panels, new elements to make the cockpit richer and more realistic. If necessary, new gears, pistons/cylinders for the W engine. Presentation: What do you want more emphasis on, looks or functions? This is a very hard question. I would like to say "both". Presentation box, or standard box? Standard is fine for me. Regular manual, or one with technical info? Regular is fine for me, but I think this model deserves any possible information. Price Range? 229/249 euro without power functions. With power function i guess the price is about 299 euro. Advanced instructions, and non color coded parts, or is the current system okay? Advanced instructions. B model, or no B model? Is it possible a B model? :p
