Hi all, I am just getting out of my "dark ages" , everything because I went to by Duplo form my kids and got fascinated with the Modular series...I had the yellow castle from the 70's (still playable in my parents house!). I already missed a bunch of the retired ones, unfortunately...Any one already MOD the Kwik-E-Mart or is it too soon? I would love to catch up on the modulars but the price for retired ones are just CRAZY... Oh well, I am excited to start my new phase! All the best guys!

I am still debating about buying the entire Pirates theme...I am new to the lego "addiction" and really love the Modulars (which I caught up since the Pet Shop...the retired ones are just too expensive!!!). I may be a single parent if I buy everything I want...Ha! How do you guys plan your Lego budget? -

I am a "newby" to trains as well. I started with the 10233 and had a lot of fun adding a second set and making it "power functioned". I have a very small layout and looking to improve it...I already supported the idea from "citizen" (see above) and I am looking for a new lego steam engine set in the future, once is supper expensive to get discontinued ones....
