  1. If anything, the leaked set numbers must be wrong. Those pictures look to be the final product.
  2. Welcome to the boards.
  3. Welcome!
  4. I don't think anyone here is surprised.
  5. Exactly this. This thread is ridiculous.
  6. I like this new Jestro but not as much as the old one. If the yellow was gold and they gave him dark blue skin I think I would be much happier.
  7. I really like the design of the fireplace Nice work!
  8. This is inherently wrong, as there is a reason Nexo is putting out 50+ sets a year while Castle and Pirates are dead on the water. It tested well with the kids and it's doing well right now, which implies that yes, people do want rolling tank-castles, wacky as they are. I think the title of this thread drastically overdramatizes what's going on right now. Nexo is making no effort to be a normal Castle theme, so I hardly see it a wolf in sheep's clothing. Now if that wolf were to be a trans orange robo wolf..... An example of "Betrayal" would be the 2004 KK2 sets. They attempted to appeal to both small children and adults and failed miserably, with horrendous set designs and a bad story that was almost impossible to expand upon in future years. Nexo Knights is fully kid-aimed, and has well-designed sets and a decent plot. It never tried to be something it wasn't, so how could it betray you? When normal Castle comes back I hope Lego makes it a grand affair, because I get why a lot of you guys are disappointed with Nexo Knights. I'm a Historic Themes poster first and foremost so I expect to be a regular in this section as soon as NK ends, but until then focus your attention on other themes and pretend Nexo doesn't exist if you don't like it.
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks, MangaNOID.
  10. Welcome to the boards!
  11. Joker balloon sounds pretty neat. Not too keen on these sets but I might have to buy that one.
  12. Man, you know we're really desperate when we're complimenting the design of a 40 piece set. The best set in this huge wave is somehow a tiny little ATV. You gotta do better, designers.
  13. Nice find. There's gotta be more of these out there.
  14. Welcome to the boards!
  15. Unfortunately this whole wave looks like a pass for me. Really digging the new female hair/hat combo as well as all of the new torsos, though. At first glance my favorite of the sets in the Auto Transporter, but it's significantly less useful as a Police-themed vehicle.
  16. Welcome to the boards!
  17. @Zergos Thanks a lot for the pictures! Would you mind taking a comparison photo with some Lava grunts?
  18. It certainly had a promising start, but sales clearly tapered off badly in the theme's second year. This was likely due to too many tribes being introduced, fairly basic set design, and incredibly similar vehicles. In my opinion, the second year of the theme contained the best sets and most creative builds, but it definitely wasn't as successful. The (absolutely horrendous) TV show wasn't doing it any favors either. Ninjago and Nexo Knights both have engaging shows with loads of new content, while Chima was essentially endless warring combined with some deus ex machina and a cringeworthy romantic subplot. In conclusion, I don't see a reason it should come back.
  19. What new shoulder design? Happy Halloween to everyone, but the way.
  20. All for it, to be honest. It was only going to be a matter of time before people started getting on Lego for being too generic and repetitive.
  21. Welcome, Fishsticks!
  22. Another great banner! I like the Headless Horseman.
