LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion

Where did you find it? It's a polybag wasteland where I live, the only NK polybag I've ever seen here was the Lava Slinger. -

The inside of the Castle is highly disappointing considering the tower has absolutely nothing in it, not even room for figures to boot. I was expecting Merlok's library or at least....something. Huge amount of wasted space which is unacceptable in a $130 set. -

I don't like the change at all. Last year's pack had just as many weapons and unique prints; what's the point of removing yet another figure? Honestly I feel like Lego's starting to scam their "army builder" crowd between this and the price increase on the SW battlepacks. -

His full name is General Garg, in case either of you were wondering. Not very creative if you ask me. -

I only said "Silver" because the other knights had regular Castle helmets, but in blue like they normally do. -

Good stuff. Really disappointing if there are only three figures for $15, though. Remember when these kinds of packs used to have five? The inclusion of the regular Castle helmet in silver is pretty cool, I always like some variation among my knights. I suspect there's a companion pack to this on the way as well. -

Willing to bet that her 2018 vehicle will be in the $90-$100 range. I think they've scaled back her vehicles so far so the market won't be oversaturated when the big one comes out. -
LEGO Ideas Discussion

That would be fantastic. So many possibilities for new fantasy figures. Anyone notice a recent trend of Medieval/Fantasy sets getting tons of love? Dungeon Master and Merchant's House are both currently in review, Medieval Water Mill has almost 7,000 supporters and Wizard Tower has received almost 1,500 supporters in its first week. Hopefully this means that one of them ends up being approved or that Lego will make a quality Castle theme after Nexo Knights. -

Thanks for the images! Macy's Bot-Drop Dragon: Definitely the weakest set of the wave for me. I'm glad this is going for $14.99 because $19.99 would not have been worth it. The Heligoyle: Instant buy. The build looks suitably imposing and the inclusion of a Harpy is a nice surprise given that she was a Gargoyle in the prelims. Axl's Rumble-Maker: Pretty good. The design is passable and I see a few interesting play features in there. Still, I don't think I'll pick it up. Aaron's Rock Climber: It's a standard Aaron build, but the villains really make this set stand out. Not only do we have a Brickster, a Stone Stomper, and a fantastic looking Grimroc, but there's also Lord Krackenskull, who might qualify as the scariest NK figure to date. Great set. The Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction: Woah. At the very least that thing is a foot tall and I love how nearly all of the build's 785 pieces are devoted to the Colossus himself. General Garg and Instant buy, and the $69.99 price tag is very fair. Knighton Castle: Exactly what I wanted for a set this big, and all of the 12 figures are great. I like the little siege tower thing that the Stone Monsters have, and I really wish The Brick Show had gotten interior shots of the castle. All in all, another strong wave for Nexo Knights. I'll probably be buying The Heligoyle, Colossus, and Castle, but the August 1st release date is really, really frustrating. Don't the Ninjago Movie sets come out then, too? Why not release them in June like the prelims said? -
The Ultimate sets are finally down to a price I consider reasonable, so I decided to pick up Ultimate Flama for $4.98. In my opinion the Ultimate sets would have sold much better if they were five bucks to begin with. Buying the entire range would give you ten figures and an assortment of largely useless weapons for over $100, and that's clearly not worth it compared to the Mech Suits.

Indeed. Make the 2017 Nexo Knights Thread Great Again. What could this mean? Another wave that we're unaware of? A massive exclusive set? -

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I find it odd how some of the items included are partially out of the image, such as the road spikes and the bush.

It looks great! Lots of detail and pretty faithful to the original. However, it's easily going to be the most expensive Ideas set ever and I don't think I'll be able to get it with all of the stuff already on my list. -
