Lego video reviewer Jangbricks hits 300,000 YouTube subscibers
brickpreviews replied to Faefrost's topic in Community
Youtube can make you a lot of money, especially if you have 300k subscribers. People can probably live comfortably with just 100k subscribers. The other thing is the length of the videos. Longer the videos, the more viewer engagement and more $$. Why do you think there are so many youtubers now days doing LEGO. Unlike a website, there is no startup cost, no hosting cost, and no bandwidth cost. Youtube covers it all. -
The next VIP exclusive set is April 15. There are rumors that this is the Kiwi E-Mart http://brickpreviews.com/lego-april-2015-calendar-promotions/

2015 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
brickpreviews replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Town
Porsche 918 Spyder, not my favourite site but some may like it. I find the gray color boring and it is abit blocky compared to the real thing. Review: http://brickpreviews.com/lego-speed-champions-75910-porsche-918-spyder-review/ Is there a way to upload and post large amount of images on EB easily? I tend to have lots of pictures in my review so I am looking for a more efficient way to upload the images than uploading them all to imgur and then linking them one by one. I will do a full review of the Mclean P1 for EB next. -
Not sure if you guys seen this but apparently there is a playmat for play and displaying the pieces. I am going to try and get one to display my Elves sets http://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Elves-Playmat-851341?fromListing=listing

2015 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
brickpreviews replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Town
Just finished reviewing the 75899 LaFerrari set. It is my first Speed Champions set and I am liking it. Even though they are a bit low poly I think they captured the essence of the car pretty well. Doesn't have much playability though but good for display for sure. Review: http://brickpreviews.com/lego-speed-champions-75899-laferrari-review/ -
March going to hurt my wallet pretty bad. Got all the elves sets, now working on super hero sets, pirates, and speed champions stuff.

Hey all, just got my hands on the Hydra Fortress Smash set and did a review on it. I like the Hydra Tank but the tower was kinda disappointing. Fun set to play with though Review: http://brickpreviews...s-smash-review/ -
“In 2014 we increased our sales by 15 percent. I am proud that we delivered high quality creative play experiences to millions of children all over the world. All LEGO Group market regions experienced double digit sales growth while the traditional toy market in most countries grew by low single digit rates. Among the top selling lines in 2014 were core themes like LEGO® City, LEGO® Star Wars™ and LEGO Friends. LEGO Creator and LEGO Technic experienced high growth rates during the year, and a significant contributor to the strong sales growth in 2014 was THE LEGO® MOVIETM product line which launched in conjunction with the release of THE LEGO MOVIE feature film in early 2014. The product line performed strongly across the full year. Source: http://www.lego.com/en-gb/aboutus/news-room/2015/february/lego-group-2014-annual-results

Here is my review of the 41074 Azari and the Magicial Bakery set if anyone is interested. I think it is a great play set since it has a lot of moveable and play pieces. It feels less static than the other sets. Review: http://brickpreviews.com/lego-elves-41074-azari-and-the-magical-bakery-review/

Wow this is pretty neat, thanks for sharing :D -
Just finished up my review of the Naida's Spa Secret. The spa is better looking than I imagined and there are tons of mini accessories with this set. For price per part I think this one is the best so far. Review: http://brickpreviews...-secret-review/

You guys don't like the minidolls? Some are kinda meh while others are pretty awesome. For example the Aira and Naida minidolls are gorgeous!

Hey all, here is my review of the first box set of the Elves theme. This is a cheap set priced at $14.99 USD. It has only 1 minifigure (minidoll) and comes with a squirrel animal. There is a little catapult you can use to shoot acorns and a panel with a key you can pull out but otherwise doesn't have much playability. It does have a bunch of new parts and some bright colored pieces that were fairly rare before. Anyways here is the full review: http://brickpreviews.com/lego-elves-41076-farran-and-the-crystal-hollow-review/ Some pics

Hey all, this is a review of the upcoming LEGO Elves Azari's Magic Fire Polybag. This is a promotional polybag given to anyone to purchase the LEGO Elves set in March 2015 on Shop@ Home. I was able to find it in Toys R Us Canada oddly enough (not on shelves but the cashier had a cart with a bunch of them). It only has 27 pieces and the minifigure is slimmer than the regular minifigures but lacks mobility in the legs. Full Review: http://brickpreviews.com/lego-elves-30259-azaris-magic-fire-polybag-review/ Here are some pictures If you like the Elves theme you are in luck as I will be posting review of a bunch of the sets in the next few days!

Ah for there I didn't close the top panel completely when I took the pics since I was still placing minifigures inside them.

Hey everyone, here is my review of the 75083 AT-DP. I like this walker for display as it is fairly tall and looks great, However has some issues such as being really flimsy and the spring loaded missile are horribly placed and misfire all the time. The new AT-DP minifigures are awesome though and the helmets goes for alot on bricklinks. http://brickpreviews...5083-dp-review/

Bunch of City pics I compiled from the NY Toy Fair. The deep diving sets look really good and Town Square is a no brainer must buy now http://brickpreviews.com/new-york-toy-fair-new-lego-images/#LEGO_City
