  1. Looks like part in new color: 3874 link tread in bluish-grey. Previously available only in black.
  2. Getting "Parse Error: Cannot open include file ldd_default_colors.inc with some models and ldd_colors_declarations.bin with other models. Yes the include path is set in povray.ini as described here: http://ldd2povray.lddtools.com/index.php?p=2_14_POV-Ray-setup I do think I messed up the path in LDD to POV but I can't get it to reset to default and there seems to be no separate setting file I could delete to reset the setting to default. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but never got the initial setting screen. This is what I have: C:\Users\HPDV7-6135dx\AppData\Roaming\LEGO Company\LEGO Digital Designer\ C:\Users\HPDV7-6135dx\AppData\Roaming\LEGO Company\LEGO Digital Designer\LDDinc\ Using 64 bits LDD to POV, 64 bits POV-Ray, and on 64 bits Windows 7.
  3. It's there. maybe I messed up the output path in LDD to Pov? What should the default output path look like?
  4. Very nice!! i tried export from LDD to LDraw but elements that were stored at odd angle and few barely legal connections were messed up. Will give this one a try to see if it works better than exporting to LDraw or not. EDIT: doesn't like my project :/ I'm getting error message in POVRay: Parse Error: Cannot open include file ldd_defaultcolors.inc I am using 64 bits LDD2POV converter and 64 bits POVRay and both running on Windows 7 64 bits Maybe a path was set wrong somewhere?
  5. Would love if someone can make me a waterslide decal of Sheik's torso from Zelda series: http://zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Sheik (scroll down, great front view) White or clear back is fine since it's going on white torso. I'll pay via Paypal or mail in cash if you want to avoid PP fees. I got blue arm, white torso, blue legs, white ninja bandanna, and flesh hand and head. All that's left is the red eye-like symbol for torso as nothing LEGO made is close enough. PS I have Link covered, the Forestmen reissue torso is close enough to pass for Link.
  6. LXF file: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Lego-0taku/misc/impossible_2.lxf Once you put that together, you can spend the next 100 years swearing every known foul word in over 600 languages, you will not be able to take it apart without destroying a piece.
  7. I agree there could be a problem with 2 studded part. That's probably why the clone made a 2x2 style with studs on both sides, not a 1x1 at all.
  8. And close to half has bachelor degree. I would have expected less than that so I was surprised.
  9. Often time Paypal has auto 21-days hold on any fund being sent to any "new" seller. So unless the buyer sits around doing nothing for more than a month, buyers can start filing complaint.
  10. You don't hear of comic books having second golden age or third golden age. It's why I was wondering if second golden age is proper or if silver age is better term for second coming of good LEGO stuff.
  11. And you can't place plate along the corner because they'd hit each other. Why not fill in the gap and make it solid?
  12. I also agree that late 70's is the start of the golden age. Classic space, classic castle, etc they were simple yet fun. But I need to ask, do we really use the term 'second golden age'? Why not silver age? For me the silver age started when LEGO got the license for SW sets
  13. The corner piece looks a bit complex to mold. How would you remove the molding block from the inside corner stud? Looks good but a little drafty compared to other log wall design posted earlier.
  14. You mean this: Found them last year. It could pop up again someday.
  15. I know I was picking on the fact his question never specified which LEGO store I went to. If it really matters, there is only 1 LEGO store in my state, Troy store. I wish there'd be another store closer than a 90 minutes drive if the freeway isn't congeste,) or over 2 hours if it's bad. At least Sommerset mall doesn't have parking problem during mornings, I can reach the 3rd floor parking and be less than 1000 feet (300 meters) walking from my car to the store.
  16. Found something: LDD just quits with no error message if I tried to use rotate tool on a complex project. ie engine with 18 pistons, try rotating the whole shaft. At first it did nothing but when I tried again, it just quit. No prompt to save so I know it's not a normal quit program.
  17. I really liked how you did a split style, one side as it may have looked like centuries ago when it was new, and other side as it looks today.
  18. Worst case: LDD complains of illegal piece placement and deletes them on opening file.
  19. Looks more like the cooling tower to me than the reactor. It's funny you made this MOC, I saw a movie not too long ago Chernobyl: The Final Warning OOOOOLD movie but might be worth it if you're interested in the disaster. edit: typo
  20. While attempting to go to this page: http://www.eurobrick...44entry909044 I got a warning page that something there contained a link to possible malware. SS of the warning attached, maybe someone could check into this and make sure it's clean? EDIT by Hinckley: Changed subject title to reflect alert's content.
  21. A LEGO store And about 1 hour, I didn't spend time packing in pieces tightly as they can be time consuming to get about 25% more plus technically I can't sell packed bricks as new on Bricklink because they'd have been assembled and become used.
  22. Went in today and, big surprise, no plant there. They did have white flowers out next to red but it's kind of hard for most 5 year old to enjoy fowers without the green stems. I did get some good parts: Trans-clear 1x2!!! Trans-black 1x2!!!!! Trans-purple and trans-red 1x1 cones 2x2 dark tan tiles! For future MOC, 1x3 dark grey bricks. I also got 1x3 white bricks too Fences Horses and huge 6x16 plates. Biggest piece I've seen for PAB wall to date. Also I had no limit on horses but I didn't want to go overboard. Black 2x2 inverted slopes Not pictured: orange 1x1 round plates and 2 pharaoh head pieces (from series 2) that slipped in with dark tan tiles, I didn't find these until after I got home. There were many of that head piece on build a minifig wall. A quick chart of my total vs BL price (current average) and LEGO.com price
  23. Or use a green snake and make note that the snake represents Jabba fig which aren't in LDD
  24. I would love to have this one for small SNOT work. Tyco released something similar over a decade ago. As for the 1/2 plate, you can do it with headlight brick easy.
  25. I submitted scan for instruction book #3 (I have only #3 out of 5 book sets) for set #1092 some months ago. It still has not been updated.
