Just got the Naboo Starfighter and Sebulba's podracer at TRU to get a free mini Anakin's podracer, since I spent more than $20.

Nice pic, DLuders. I think a thread has to be started to show off the Friends figs with mini figure accessories. I already have a few made myself and they're quite amusing. It should be noted that that's Emma in her different outfits and not 3 completely different friends.

I think the issue with the hobbits having printed toes is that Lego has yet to have printings on the "short" legs. However, this theme would be a great reason for Lego to start doing that.

Where do these super packs end up being sold?

Those swords look great and Gollum is now a must buy. Thanks for the pictures.

The info I have received from associates of the store is that they add more parts every quarter, so a new addition should happen some time in April.

I'm glad I grabbed Arcee and Starscream while the 1st editions were at my TRU. To think, I was really going to invest in more of them because I thought TF-Prime was a quality show.

There wouldn't be a WB right on the front of the box. It would be where all the copyright and trademark info is contained.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
The_Box replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Harry Potter wasn't discontinued as a theme when Diagon Alley was made. There was still the last small wave of HP that came put after DA. -
General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

But all those sets you just mention were from non-licensed themes. Castle, Pirates, and Kingdoms. As much as I would love new PotC sets, I just feel like there's no reason for them to be around when there is no new movie as the driving force. -
The Lego Store in Bridgewater has Rapper, Punk Rocker, and Baseball player parts, minus the accessories of course.

Ugh. No wonder the CM figs were place holders. Dracula and the monster use the pieces. On a different note though, the werewolf looks nice. From what I can tell its a completely new mold for the head but I just want to see how the claws turn out in real life.
-
I just want to say that I was surprised on the sheer size of the boxes for the new TIE and X-Wing. No wonder they cost so much.

You know what that meas: 'The Zombies' will be a TRU exclusive in the US.

Jay has gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to spinners. The only currently (somewhat) available set with a spinner for Jay would be 'Skeleton Bowling', which is a TRU exclusive in the states. Unfortunately, this set comes with no cards, so that means that there is no character card for Jay DX.

The only real non-LEGO brand store exclusives that I can think of are the polybags that go along with a theme, such as new Batman ones revealed several pages, and TRU truck. If Lego designates a set as "Hard to Find" in its catalog or on its website that just means, that besides being sold by Lego themselves, it can only be found at a certain retail store.

Thank you for clearing this up. That is exactly what I meant to say. Current Star Wars examples of this would be for TRU: Battle for Geonosis, Echo Base, and Y-Wing; Target: Naboo Starfighter and Anakin's Jedi Incecptor; Wal-Mart: Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter. I want to make it clear that these are just for the US. I have no idea how other countries work in the "Hard to Find" sets. Now back on topic: Are all the Marvel sets coming out at the same time or would it be broken up in different stages, like Avenger sets first then all other sets, like X-men and Spiderman? Can someone clarify what the new DC wave (spring/summer?) will compose of and if and when it will be release?
-
Why? It was figured out to be an exclusive when Lego deemed it as "Hard To Find." From my experience, when there is only one exclusive in a theme, it always ends up being a TRU exclusive. Arkham Asylum from the original wave was noted as a Lego "Hard To Find" and the only retailer that sold it was TRU. By the way, I checked TRU.com and the markup for it isn't too bad. $44.99 instead of $39.99.

^ I think he was trying to go for available tribes. Hypnobai would be my choice if you don't mind putting extra money in to get a fair amount of them.

Looking at it again, this mini is quite better than the older one. It's done in a more "accurate" mini scale. Could it be possible to have a comparison shot of the 2?
-
I'd have to say somewhere between 40 and 60%. I know that's a big gap but I think going for minfigs it would be 40% but sets it would have to be 60%.

MOC: Assassination at Golden Dragon Dojo

Just two words: elegant and brilliant! -
CSI: Gotham City! All of your Gotham creations have been top-notch. Is that a custom Bane wanted poster I saw on the wall? Nice. The only gripe I have for this one that I always picture that Commissioner Gordon having glasses. Maybe Henry Jones, Sr. head? Still awesome nonetheless. I didn't know that Selina Kyle, Lando and the generic henchman from the Bats line were members of GCPD.

Your Ninjago Cards
The_Box replied to Perry the Platypus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Through my experience, the cards are not random. From what I can remember Lego even put out what cards can be found in what set on the Ninjago minisite. -
Your Ninjago Cards
The_Box replied to Perry the Platypus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Out of the original set (pre- Rise of the Snakes), all that I'm missing are the cards that came with Zane (regular), Cole (regular), and Cole DX. Also missing are a few of the promotional ones, such as *2 and *3. I have the cards that came with 4 available spinners, 3 booster packs and the starter set in the "Snakes" line. Some of the newer cards are just rehash/reprints of older cards, with the traps and 'Power Up' being these cards that I can think over off the top of my head.
