  1. Sounds amazing! Each set seems to be its own unique thing, though I'm really sick of dragons at this stage. :P I'm really impressed with the figures this year, there's nearly as much as a boys theme seemingly...And the king being a mini doll sounds amazing! I wonder could the queen appear in the summer? There doesn't seem to be any animals this year besides a purple squirrel, which I don't get. It's going to cost so much to recolour an animal so why chose one that already exists in Elves? :S The airship definitely stands out, I don't need to get the Ninjago one now! It's also interesting the girl themes seem to be making their boxes more gender neutral... What does Sophie Jones look like and is the Goblin King the only mini doll in the dragon set?
  2. Get your cape on! I imagine the crystal villains may be exclusive to the LEGO shorts. There's a ton of figures in these and Elves which makes me thrilled! Is Wonder Woman's dorm Greek inspired like it is in the show?
  3. Did you see the juniors Disney Princess Frozen set as well? I'm so shocked to see Anna gets two new outfits, her horse appears (who is gold in the movie so hopefully that'll change in the end) and Marshmellow! Does Anna get a new hairpiece with braids or does she use one of her existing two? And what outfit is Elsa wearing in her Ice Palace? I'm glad to see you like these sets as that's usually a good indicator they're good! (Sorry I'm bombarding you with questions, but thanks so much! :D) I think the rumored price was around €60
  4. Lego Disney with only Princess sets? :S I guess they could try to make other "girly" Disney movies into sets but why not start straight away? Let's hope this means the sets are more accurate. :P
  5. I don't think LEGO's going to try and make little girls swoon. :P
  6. Great build! I imagine this ice castle will be more movie accurate than other Disney Princess sets. Hopefully we'll get Marshmellow and if we're really lucky Hans too.
  7. I always thought the mainstream heroes for DC were Batman, Superman, Robin and Wonder Woman. Those four are known by everyone while everyone else varies, my mother sure doesn't know who The Flash, Aquaman or Martian Manhunter are!
  8. Wonder Woman is bound to appear in a Juniors set sometime right? She's probably the only mainstream hero who hasn't appeared yet.
  9. Like Sophie's stethoscope? Sure! I doubt the goblin king will look human, we already have a human looking villain with Ragana why not go full "ugly"?! >:D Besides more mini doll variation is needed and what better way then with green goblins? A baby would be cool, but I'd prefer children first. Besides they already saved a baby (dragon) the last time. On a side note is anyone else dissatisfied that the evil dragon is of the Goblin King and not Ragana? :(
  10. Present Service sounds like the Party Shop from this year except well designed. :P I'm glad to see vehicles being included in Friends shops now too! I'm very interested to see how the pool improves from the last one which was great for its price. I can't wait to see the aquarium and if we'll get any new animals in it. I'm glad you like the designs of the pizzeria, house and sports studio which only makes me more excited to see them! We haven't got a normal yellow or purple building before in Friends so I can't wait to see it used here. The house's oriel sounds amazing and I suspect the upper floors to be Stephanie's room and the bathroom, parents don't seem to get rooms in Friends! :P Thanks so much for all the info! :D Puppy parade sounds interesting as we haven't got a parade in Friends yet, though it'll probably end up like the party train... It's a shame the park and playground aren't regular scale as I'd love to see Friends versions of either. I can't wait to see the new dog breeds though! Let's hope the next subtheme is babysitting. :3
  11. Well seeing how each set seems to include one and its a themed marketed towards girls it be rather weird if they didn't. I can't wait to see the size of these goblins compared to minidolls as the amount of characters in these sets seem to be at minifigure level!
  12. Great job, I adore the hair techniques! If your looking for recommendations Friends or Elves? :P
  13. Well that's the reason they have DC girls coming out next year and dong forget Elves. Even Friends has a skatepark, Olivia's science themed car, jungle rescue sets and camp sets. Boys can go shopping to in Creator. To second what gamejitzu is saying the reason why there's little male mini dolls is because there's a lack of mini dolls in general. I honestly think lately Friends has been very balanced with genders there's been about two-three male mini dolls per wave, not bad for a "girls" theme! Besides the roller coaster did have Matthew.
  14. Great and interesting moc! Who doesn't love 60's Batman? :P Out of curiosity why did you change Robin's face?
  15. 3 mini dolls in an $80 is a regular occurrence unfortunately (plug of rant about that topic :P http://en.brickimedia.org/wiki/User_blog:Soupperson1/A_mini-doll_rant_by_a_mini-doll_fan ) Besides Ivy and Supergirl will both have at least three new prints each so they'll be new too. (Most) Little girls prefer mini dolls, they tested minifigures with them first but little girls kept telling them to change them. LEGO didn't spend 4 million on marketing for nothing, besides if little girls pefered minifigures do you really think LEGO would've gone through the hassle of creating new moulds? I understand the frustration but you have to remember this will be the third DC based theme next year. I think it's okay to spare one to mini dolls. :P Besides if little girls want minifigure versions of Harley/Batgirl they can buy the joker's mobile from the Lego batman movie. And since when does the Disney Princess line have great builds? I love Friends and Elves but IMO Disney Princess is pathetic. :P I'm sure they'll all be based off the show, so new green hair piece for Lashina at least! :D
  16. Or even DC superhero girls since it has Krypto
  17. They look spectacular! It's a shame the real ones won't use light nougat parts (going off comic con). My favourite is Cragger he looks adorable! I do hope they make non licensed characters, I'd probably buy that Cragger myself. :P
  18. (User) said the prices may be different. I don't think it's an actual tank though probably something that just looks similar.
  19. Here's the compact DC girl list :P *$15-Tank~Lashina, Krypto *$15-Bumblebee *$20- Diana's Dorm~Wonder Woman *25- Capes and Cows Café~Harley Quinn, Steve Trevor *30 - Batjet~Batgirl, additional figure (going on price) *$80-SuperHero High~Supergirl, Poison Ivy, Lena Luthor
  20. That's probably because of the lack of figures in Elves. :P It'll be interesting to see if mini doll numbers ever increase will we see the same diversity. Oh Exo Force had a female as well. As for the Ninjago comments I don't really think having a female protagonist makes up for the lack of female characters. Wasn't Pixal the second female character in 2014...why couldn't a snake or in nindroid or skeleton be female? Miasoko and Claire are only in a single expensive set. Characters like Skylor, Dogshank, Cyren and Bansha are refreshing but you can't deny there was three years with little to no diversity besides one female character somewhat front and center trying to hide it.
  21. Could the Arkham set possibly be the Dimensions story pack build? :P
  22. Will they ever use light nougat bricks instead of tan? :(
  23. It's called "The Bat Pack" in the trailer, no?
  24. Light Nougat to Nougat, as seen in the trailer.
  25. But this is Friends not Elves, but then again I'm sure they won't mind sharing. :P
