  1. Perhaps there waiting to release the remaining villain figures in next year's sets, TLM had four tear two sets. Additionally there is that retail exclusive set that was announced in the toy fair press release.
  2. While that makes sense for minifigures as grey is commonly used for minifigures, it's an absurd idea to think it could work for minidolls budget wise. It at the very least would be a grey re colour for the head, the head has only come in four colours so far, two of which will just be introduced in the summer. And if the head alone is a headache they would also need: grey recolour for the torso, legs, arms and hands. Minidolls rarely ever use grey pieces so most of these would become exclusive to build something most kids wouldn't even play with. I do too think the sticker for the statue looks dismal, but a mini doll would be far to pricey. The "Marge Simpson" necklace was a plotpoint in the 1950's Cinderella, she borrowed one of her sisters' necklaces without permission only for it to be ripped of her. The reason for its inclusion is so it could work with the bottom half of her pink dress, saving the designers from coming up with a new torso. I think it would've made more sense to use an older Cinderella torso and then have a little extra room left in the budget for a new pink dress torso, but oh well. The same could go for Ariel, who's missing the top half of her white dress. The extra leg pieces are nice but we need torsos too! I think it makes more sense for them to be average mini doll size rather than plump, there would be outcries of the lack of inclusion of other plump minidolls in the Friends theme. Even if they put plump characters in Friends sets, LEGO heavily limits the amounts of minidolls included in sets so there's very little opportunity for plump characters to even have a chance in a set. Certainly not enough to stop people from complaining.
  3. They all have blue eyes though, it's probably the way they look most alike! :P Im disappointed with the colour for Steve's hair, it's more of a dark blond than a dark brown in the film. Plus does anyone else think 2012 Robin's hair would've worked?
  4. It's big enough to hold the bat mobile, which will probally be around the same size as the last one. The LEGO Batman movie has a $90 plane and that can't hold any vehicle besides a very small boat for Robin, I think the Flying Fox is the obvious choice. On a side note wouldn't the second Wonder Woman set have been in the press release if it existed?
  5. The hospital has a baby!
  6. Wonder Woman is the first female minifigure to be in one of these types of promos right? That's an accomplishment itself! I know it would've been nice to get a new character but it feels right to give the first female super heroes promo to the most iconic female hero of all time. Now how long till our Harley promo? And that's it when it comes to big female sellers from any comic. :P
  7. Because kids will want a blue dress Cinderella and they don't care what colour the carriage is if it looks nice. I have no clue why the fairy godmother is purple though, I've never seen that recolour before. I agree with the fact it's weird Cinderella can't sit down, though I suppose you could always give her tattered pink dress piece if you want her to sit down. Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother both use the Belle puffy dress piece!
  8. https://www.flickr.com/photos/brickset/32305593320/in/photostream/ Belle's box art is beyond gorgeous! Brickset also confirmed there's a mystery pair coming out in wave one too!
  9. We're spoiled for mini dolls in these 2.5 including a new character in both! I can't wait to see the tops of Ariel's white dress and Cinderella's pink one! The Urusla set is hideous, but I'll get it for the figures. :P The Cinderella set is quite nice (especially the carraige), though it's a shame her mice friends are recreated with a tan hamster...
  10. Those lemon tiles have to be released! I did find it weird Barbra calling herself a woman, I don't really care about the race change but why is she so much older than Dick. Surly she could've been 19 or something? :S
  11. It's a Juniors set! A Snow White mini doll is coming! :D
  12. LEGO has a stronger relationship with DC than Marvel, or at least WB to Disney.
  13. Or the friends one :P
  14. Almost impossible. We rarely ever get all female based sets nor does Disney market female based proprieties to boys and no matter what anyone says the numbers support the fact mini-dolls are loved by young girls, who don't like minifigures. If we were to get minifigure Disney sets it would probably have different set numbers and it's unlikely it would feature the princesses. As for an Ursula figure we'll have to wait and see, though I still think it's unlikely she'll appear.
  15. Cinderella actually is the most popular princess. :P I believe Ariel is second.
  16. Well hospitals should have warm and welcoming colours to patients right? City's red and white hospitals are far from releastic, so whatever Friends releases will be just as good I.M.O. :P The point I was trying to make wasn't that we should have builds for custom cities, it was that Friends should have the opportunity to add fire stations, hospitals and whatever to Heartlake.
  17. It's probably going to end up to be similar to the set she appeared in with Eric from a few years back. While I'd love a lair, the only villains we've got before are in the Moana set. It seems really unlikely we'll go from no villains to a set based on one, though if I'm wrong I'm really happy! :P Aren't we supposed to get one other set? Hopefully it's someone new.
  18. A new mould with legs moulded into the wheelchair? On a side note why is everyone upset that Friends is getting the hospital isn't it a good thing that Friends and City can share builds? I for one am very excited for this hospital and hope we get other City esc. themes in Friends in the future! :D If we get grandparents and a baby I'll flip. :P Though I can't really see where grandparents would fit as the ski place seems to be a resort.
  19. Let's hope the animals they introduce are adult ones so they can work with the baby '14 Friends ones! ;) Im really excited for Fun At The Beach!
  20. Let's hope this hospital has a wheelchair or even baby!! Anna could make a second appearance as she is a doctor. I can't wait to see what they do for the build at that price. I can't imagine they would do an elevator again so I wonder what will take up the pieces? The catamaran will be a welcome addition as we haven't got a big vehicle since the dolphin cruiser. The surf shop sounds great too! The winter sub theme has very good mini doll potential and hopefully we'll get Santa in the advent Callander so it has something exclusive.
  21. I haven't heard of any of them (and I'm Irish, so surly regions were Doctor Who is less popular will have no clue who they are), the only Doctor Who characters I know have been released already. I do think they should make a companion playable somehow. Hey look I'm a huge fan of Scooby-Doo sometimes I think everyone knows who Scrappy, Thorn and The Creeper are but sometimes are fan bases can blind us. ;) Creature From The Black Lagoon was parodied in Friends before so maybe. :P
  22. Surly every franchise has new character potential? Portal and Midway Arcade are the only ones that seem unlikely. Also I wouldn't say Doctor Who has the most as its characters simply aren't as iconic as say Velma, Marge or Dumbledore. That being said I wouldn't complain if it got new packs. :P I think DC girls would be completely different from the other DC themes as it would be set in a school, which could be a really cool setting. Also it be fun to turn all the existing DC characters into their high school counterpart. :P
  23. As a fan of Friends I think I can recreate that entire set, par the boy's torso. On the other hand that new Easter set is amazing with the tan palisade bricks, more Ragana fences and a lime wheelbarrow. I also think the builds for the Easter one are more enjoyable too. :)
  24. I'd love for the mini-doll themes to feature; Elves, Friends and DC Super Hero Girls. It be interesting to see what they do for outfits and which characters they would choose too. Oh and rather than getting an abundance of new franchises in year 3 I'd rather they gave us more characters from existing ones.
  25. Harley's dorm? It's strange they're reusing Supergirl and Lena in the same set. It also would've been nice to get at least one new female hero in one of these, oh well.
