  1. All sorted, on behalf of the Crown, thank you for your kind donation
  2. I really like the way the marines are fully immersed in the environment. The greens used as a base beneath the trans tiles really give the water some extra depth.
  3. Nice bluecoats! I wonder what the sailor did to end up in trouble!!
  4. I've been waiting to see this build drop and it doesn't disappoint! That is one amazing looking hacienda. The way you have done the roof tiles is especially interesting - I don't think I've seen that technique applied to this style before and now I need to start to work out if it is possible to replicate (on a smaller scale) in real bricks!!!! It's always interesting to see a new sugar cane technique and I like the addition of the bamboo leaves to your design, although I admit to not being entirely sold on the thickness of the canes. Excellent work all up.
  5. I like the level of detail packed into a somewhat small and simple build. Great colours and neatly presented as well. You should build in Stormhaven more often, this style definitely seems to suit you! for GoC
  6. Love the pipes supplying the seawater to the vats. Really well done!
  7. Great Royal LM71! As others have commented the highlight for me is the detail you put into the processes. I especially like the worker pouring the molten metal into the mould for the musket barrel and the way you have depicted the shattered clay moulds in the next picture. Well done!
  8. Because I haven't done it on the forum yet, welcome to BoBS Pidy - it's great to have you as part of the community. This build is lovely! The aesthetic fits Wullham perfectly! The landscaping is just so good and the lavender highlights work so well. The buildings are really well done and the sand green and olive highlights are perfect with the white and bley 'slate' roof. Really great job here!
  9. Fixed, my apologies Upgraded! Indeed!!! The LBSF is now paying tax!
  10. I've added you to the sheets, but I don't see any record of you licensing any buildings or registering any freebuilds. Did you submit any Build Submittal Form s or Property License Form s? I can retrospectively add them if you didn't... but you'll need to provide me links to your builds so I can figure out what to submit.
  11. Nov-Dec Account Sheet Overdue again sorry all. Please check your balances and as usual let me know any issues. The sheet was kind of rushed so I feel like I've missed something...
  12. Apologies for the delay, your prospectors have combed the desert to find... iron!
  13. Hi and welcome to Corrington! Unfortunately no, each task must have it's own individual build.
  14. The faction property building incentive has been extended until 1 Jul 23. Thanks to @Darnok for reminding me!
  15. Front page updated. I also have the somewhat dubious honour of awarding myself the title of 'Friend of the Myzec' for completing Task 10. Which also means I have now completed three whole tasks and have been awarded a second knight-ship, this time joining @evancelt as a Knight in the Order of Corrington (OC). Inching closer to joining @Mesabi in the ranks of the nobility!!! Also the Queenston temporary task has been extended until 1 Jul 23
  16. Great work with the aqueduct. I have long planned one in Port Woodhouse but it has been lost somewhere on my list of priorities. If I did build one there is a lot here to 'borrow'! Especially the brickwork around the arches - I really like the way you have used blocky brick work on the outside re-enforced with arches in the middle. Nicely done! Actually, I seem to remember Corrington officially acknowledges your settlements on El Oleonda as party of our treaty we signed on Pine Island. I mean if the glorious Empire of Corrington recognises something, surely it must be official right?!?!
  17. For me the use of colours to depict the bronze is the highlight here. It looks very much like the source material. Well done and Corrington thanks the WTC for the donation.
  18. Great action scene in the lush green jungle. Good to see our troops are getting used to fighting colonial style and aren't trying to line up and blast the jungle to bits with volley fire!!! The marine sitting down reloading is a really nice detail! Good to see some action started! One story related thing, my understanding is that the Royal Marines are not a regiment of foot (which is an army thing), they part of the Royal Navy. In the British example, they had around 50 companies of Marines split into three divisions, Chatham, Plymouth and Portsmouth for service on Royal Navy vessels and establishments and even to garrison colonies (indeed the first British garrison in Australia were Royal Marines). If we follow the British example (which we generally do), styling them as a 'Regiment of Foot' doesn't make a lot of sense, maybe the 45th Company of Marines? Detachments of Marines would definitely fight alongside the army, so it everything makes perfect sense, just the name doesn't fit in my mind... although of course we can call our units anything we want!! Just a thought.
  19. Great salt mine Darnok, the trans clear plates as salt work really well!
  20. Indeed! The enterprising farmers have discovered a rich vein of silver. Congratulations!
  21. Chinampa on Lake Myzec - Small plantation for Corrington
  22. Daily Life of the Myzec - Task 3: Chinampa on Lake Myzec
  23. Chinampas, or 'floating islands' are one of the most well known Myzec agricultural practices. These rectangular artificial islands of arable land are created by by interweaving reeds with stakes beneath the water surface in the shallow waters of a freshwater lake. Then layers of soil and aquatic vegetation were built on top until a layer of soil was visible on the water's surface. With excellent irrigation and abundance of available nutrients, chinampas produce high yields of maize and other crops such as beans, squash, chillis and avocados. Willow trees were planted in the corners of the plots to bind the soil into the lake's bottom over time. The lakes also provided protein in the form of fish and water fowl. The extensive chinampas of Lake Myzec had fallen into decline over the last few centuries as Myzectlan itself declined. Now with Myzectlan opened up again to the outside world under the Corlander protectorship, sustained efforts are underway to bring the chinampa system back to full production. Many long abandoned and neglected plots are being brought back to production with their walls being repaired and canals dredged. Here a small plot is being worked by an extended family while a fisherman and hunter can be seen on a passing canoe. An entry into the farmstead figures category of the Brickscalibur contest on Discord. Also a GOC build for the Daily Life of the Myzec task. Will be licensed as a small plantation for Corrington. Chinampa wall design modified slightly from @Elostirion 's chinampa build linked in the text above. Elos was kind enough to share the technique when he posted his build and I have wanted to do a chinampa ever since. I actually have a large digital one half completed in my digital graveyard archive which I may or may not finish one of these days!
  24. I've asked about Oleon leadership in court. Hopefully I'll have an answer for you on this soon...
