  1. On the one side the Goblin King Battle has a great selection of minifigures and all of them are exclusive (except Gandalf of course ). But on the other side the build itself is a bit boring and the selection of pieces isn't really interesting. Before buying it, you could eventually check BL, maybe you can find a good deal with the Goblin King, and the other figures you are interested in . If you can't find a good deal, i would suggest you to buy the whole set .
  2. Thanks . I'm glad you like my MOC and the fotos
  3. Very nice . I recognized him immediately
  4. Juhu, I can't wait to get my hands on this set . I'm so excited to see how they will design the set and how many figures they will include. I'm not expecting more than 4, tough.
  5. That's awsome . I really like the way you made the truck - it looks fantastic
  6. Wow, that's amazing. I love all the details and you captured the dark feeling of the movie perfect . The Tumbler is amazing, too. Excellent work!
  7. Actually, there are several Hobbit figures which are still missing and I would love to get. Especially the lack of Beorn (as a Bear) and Bolg makes me really sad, because these are unique and important characters - I'm sure they will have an major role in the Bo5A, too . Ironhill dwarves and armoured elves would be epic, too . Personally, I don't need an armoured Thranduil, because we already got one and i would prefer other characters, which are still missing....
  8. Amazing work! The medieval vinjard looks fantastic . I love all the details, there is so much to explore.
  9. Fantastic work! I really love the way you made the tower and the landscape Good luck for the contest.
  10. That's awesome! I really love all the techniques and details! . Fantastic work!
  11. Very nice, i really love the tree and the ruin . The ghost with the teddybear is nice, too .
  12. Welcome to eurobricks!
  13. Amazing, i love the blue roof and the rockwork. Fantastic work
  14. Really amazing, i love all the details .
  15. It's really a pity that we only got four sets, and the biggest one of these sets is even based on DOS, so there are actually only three real Bo5A sets (+ plus the figures from the Erebor set). The situation is somehow similar to the Return of King Sets, we got there just 3 sets too, although the movie offers a range of possibilties for more sets.
  16. Thanks for the news . It really raises my hope for at least one more Middle Earth figure now that we know they are considering making exclusives for the DVD release. *Fingers crossed* for Bolg
  17. Awesome! The prototypes of them look fantastc, I'm really looking forward to see how they will look when they are finished
  18. I'm not so sure if it would work well that way, it's a possibility just painting the existing piece, but the armour of Azog looks to unique and would require a new shoulder piece, so I don't think that it would work with the current Azog mold .
  19. Fantastic work . I love all the details and building techniques. It somehow reminds me a bit of the weathertop from the Lord of the Rings movie, too .
  20. An armoured Azog really sounds to good to be true, with the existing Azog mold a accured armoured version wouldn't even be possible, so he would require a new headpiece mold too...
  21. Thanks for the warm welcome . And I'm glad you like my MOC, it really pushes me to start building more MOCs
  22. A really beautiful MOC - all the details are fantastic . Congratulation!
  23. Hmm, I'm not so sure - when they announced the Lego Hobbit Game they said in the press release, that they would release the DLC with the movie in December. Furthermore they must have started producing the game, in my viewpoint it would be too late to wait when the movie is released and than start working for the game. From business point releasing the DLC before christmas and when the movie hits theater is the best time make cash. But I really hope you are right, the game wouldn't feel complete without the last part of the movie......
  24. It's awesome to see that the whole Lord of the Rings theme seems to get pushed now on the Ideas side , although i fear that it's a bit too late, because the last Hobbit movie is hitting theater in December and than there's no new Middle earth movie on the horizon for years which would support the set. The Minas Tirith Set is really awesome, but I'm not sure if it would work in the Ideas strategy - it seems like they are focussing more on smaller and less expensive sets.
