  1. Just saw the 2015 lego catalogue, Age of Ultron lego was there but now Jurassic World :( How long will we have to wait for pics to leak?
  2. HYPE! EXCITEMENT!LEGO! Why have the pictures come out so early! Oh yeah, must have been Hydra. Christmas has come nine days early! Ultron looks brilliant! And Lego gave us Strucker and three Hydra minifigures! Yes! I'm going to have way too many Iron Man figs if I get as many Ultron drones sets as I think I'm getting. They finally fixed Black Widow's hair! And they kept Thor's the same. Damn. I took one look at the Hulkbuster set and thought: not getting it. But then I saw Scarlet Witch and unique Ultron. Damn you Lego. Wow, they've completely changed Hawkeye. At first I thought he was another Hydra guy. Loving the sets!
  3. I can't see the resemblance myself. I always thought the skiff guard's or shredders helmet looked more like him, but with his added height I think an Azog style mould with some of the body armour attached to his head would give a minifigure his height and bulk, but that's just me. Other than that, I completely agree. Make it happen Lego, please! I've been waiting for a Durge minifigure since I saw him in the Clone Wars series for the first time. Maybe a set in the style of the Rebels speeder set with Obi Wan's speeder, an AOTC style Obi Wan Kenobi, Durge and his blue speederbike with the skull design as well as two lances, Durge's blaster and Kenobi's lightsaber. Wow! Thanks for sharing neyo! I myself have seen pics a bit like that, but not those exact images from the catalogue.
  4. Are they confirmed as official TLC peices? Not that I'm deliberately doubting whether they're authentic or not, just they're so weird. I've never seen anything like those before. Still, after all the unique figure parts lego has been throwing at us over the past couple of years, I guess I shouldn't be surprised by anything.
  5. The film was beautiful, melancholy and awesome all at the same time. I wish Alfrid had died at the start though, I found him a bit annoying. Love the set list Legofreak86! My only edition would be about ten different battlepacks too. I think Thror was treated the same way (like rubbish), that's Azog for you. That was also the one time I truly hated the Pale Orc. Piggy may still be alive...he was taken down, not outright killed. Finally, what the Hell happened to Daisy?
  6. lego really needs to be less limited with BPs. They are ridiculously popular in Star Wars, so much so we now get four battlepacks a year. Surely they must realise they're profitable potential in other themes? It has almost begun to become ridiculous how the heroes have begun to outnumber their far more numerous foes in Lego. I'm not even going to mention the Hobbit or lotr. But now is TLCs chance to actually satisfy their fan base and give us the chance to army build generic figures in themes like Marvel, rather than have us pay extortionate prices on Second Markets like Bricklink and EBay which don't even make any money for the company. If your listening TLC, GIVE US MORE BATTLEPACKS!
  7. It's so annoying, I'd really hoped to get both of them in the final wave. But are well, there's still Smaug to buy, his Lego epicness will probably make me focus on what we did get, rather than what we didn't. Same! It's going to be so good!
  8. Wow, thanks for the review Just2good! Definite purchase for me, for both ship and minifigures (especially the practically flawless Inquisitor), although I might wait until May (especially if the promo figure is as good as Revan). 9. And next years gonna be even awesomer! Is that a word?) Lego and film wise we're going to get Jurassic World, Star Wars 7 and AGE OF FREAKING ULTRON!!! I am so hyped for Ultron and his drones.
  10. It's great that a certain character design makes an appearance, he looked much more epic and fearsome to me than his official design. Shame we never got either of them in Lego. The Dol Guldur sets make much more sense now (I'm tempted to get multiple Witch King Sets).
  11. Not really, but for me ending this thread would be basically admitting that the LOTR line is truly and officially over and there isn't going to be another wave.
  12. The Cloud City doesn't necessarily have to be UCS. It could be a summer set the size of Jabba's Palace or a model built out of several smaller sets. Or it could be that Death Star sized set recently rumoured, released in the fall.
  13. Look, I'm really sorry to everyone for accidently providing the spark which ignited this debate. I was mostly focusing on which being I would have bought first as a set, not who would win in a Tolkien-blasphemy fight! First cuttlefish and now this... I would just like to point out that, although Treebeard may be the oldest creature in Middle Earth, as Ents are indigenous to Endor and don't originally derive from Valinor (I think), the Balrogs, the main seven of whom (including Durin's Bane) were fallen Maiar under Morgoth and thus (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) were present when the Valar first sung Middle Earth and the universe into being. Ergo, the age and power argument is irrelevant in terms of the Entire vs Balrog debate (I'm speaking in terms of the Silmarrillion Sahidko, which consequently also doesn't mention Ents, although I accept he existed before the War of Wrath). Finally, I think I anyone wishes to continue this discussion, we should create a new topic, they should enter a new page for which Tolkien being would win in a fight and whether their Lego counterparts live up to them, instead of going increasingly off topic for this one. I'll happily post on it (or create it myself for a matter of fact).
  14. What? Come on Lego, we need ANSWERS! I'd try and get a five foot Smaug, but the price would likely bankrupt me. Ah well, who needs food? Also, where would you put it?
  15. At first glance, the faceprint made his head seemed too fat and round. At my second (and far longer) look, I realised I was an idiot and had missed the most important factor of all: this is Lego. I was also basing the faceprint on his neutral face BTW, not his (far cooler) enraged face. The chestplateam also makes his head look rounder. He's looking good though!
  16. The Inquisitor's looking great! It's cool the clip on his back cab hold the lightsaber. I hope thats not his final faceprint.
  17. Wow, thanks for the link Rsgrynsgot, that was amazing! And, at only a minute, means we have 44 minutes of battle left to watch at the cinema. Despite what many think, I do not believe the Battle of Five Armies set is rubbish, or incomplete. Better that than nothing, surely? And though I will not defend several of the choices the designers made, I think that on the whole the set is a perfectly adequate adaptation of dale. It's even got several exploding buildings and you can always MOD more.
  18. Same, not only as the Balrog way more iconic, cooler and ancient, it would also destroy Treebeard in about two seconds flat. It's also a chance to get some more Moria Orcs as well. That's not to say I would only get the Balrog if both sets were released.
  19. Same. It felt like they used them for 1/2 years, did a load of Prequel stuff (not that thats a problem ;-) , then forgot about them. It's a shame, they were a nice little detail too.
  20. Maybe they'll have a fight in the film as part of the cavalry charge?!! I would love PJ if he did that. Daisy needs a proper send off, provoking Azog into a fit of rage and even more incentive to wipe out the line of Durin. Edit: it would give Dain something to do as well, considering the slaying baddies spots have all been taken.
  21. I really thought we were getting Dark World sets with that poster :( I would have killed to get a Kurse big figure. And Malekith! Hopefully the Dark Elves might be part of Surt's army in Ragnorak. Imagine lego Dark Elves fighting alongside bigfigure Fire Giants. We might even gethe some Kurse too (maybe Surt knew how to make them?)
  22. Wow, that set list is awesome, interesting that we might be getting quite two Hydra sets, but then they appear to be quite prominent recently, even delivering us the trailer early. Hail Hydra!
  23. What's wrong with the Ties? I barely saw them in the trailer, but they seemed normal enough to me. Talking about the summer wave now, I think we'll either get a Rebels Tie then (with Zeb and Sabine in her helmet, or a SW7 tie in December.
  24. They could try using the dwarf spider droid ball peice, but I think if they do make it it will be a unique peice, especially as specic moulds are much more common now (the Inquisitor has three)
  25. I thought the D-Rex would be part of the monorail set.
