  1. Wow, so dark and "necromantish" atmosphere. Love it! Great job!
  2. Great MOC! I love the houses the most! And lot of details. The simple paths are great. Atmosphere here is just perfect!
  3. Looks good, more photos and close ups please :)
  4. Good article. It was nice to read. Good job on photos too :)
  5. Ha, loving it :) Great project! I forgot about Fabuland. When I was a child I hate it. But few days ago viewed some old Lego catalogs and there is something about that theme. Anyway, like "Artanis I" said would be even more nice if you make castle more colored in Fabuland style.
  6. Hello, was wondering where do you build your Lego creations? On table, bed, floor etc.? And how do you organize parts near you? I mean you go every time you need to get some bricks from your cabinet or...? When I was a child I always built on the floor. It was the best, lot of space, stack of Legos just lying on the floor. But I haven't so many bricks back then. I haven't need to sort them in any way. Now, after many years, I don't feel so comfortable on the floor. Maybe coz of lack of carpet? ;) Dunno. I found that moving big dinner table near huge bed (got them in same room) works best for me. I take boxes/containers with sorted Lego's and stack them all over me on bed and on the table. I sit on the bed and in front of me I leave big spot on the table for building itself. It is the most comfortable for me. Also works for 2 people party :) What works best for you?
  7. I like it. Looks a bit like vintage Lego, which is good :)
  8. Voted. So many nice chars but if I need choose 1 I go for Evil Wizard. He just need some proper hat or hairs :)
  9. Nice! I like it, feels like oldschool set. Only doors are hurting my eyes ;) I would use http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=649&colorID=5 or classic - http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2554 or bigger version http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6105 . 2 last are not red tho, but they still in fit into old designs very well imho.
  10. Much better then original set. Good job!
  11. Love it, everything got AC atmosphere :)
  12. Really a lot of good minifigs here. Love the mage, but he is missing a hat ;) or hairs...
  13. Nice. I like those classic castle "houses" the most :)
  14. Are those minifigs comes in same packaging and you don't know which figure you are buying?
  15. As many said before: - Old castle knight (Lions, Black, Falcons, Forest etc.) - no chrome updates, I think those new shiny helms looks cheap and simply bad. Old gray and black was muuuch better imho. - Pirates (in style of 1989 - Black Seas Barracuda and Eldorado Fortress are examples of perfect pirate design for me) - Space themes like M-Tron, Blackthrone, classic space
  16. Haha, true! I have read your post but haven't figure out we are talking about exactly same set lol. I am slowly getting to know all new sets I missed during last 20 years of my dark ages ;) I am still in world of 4 studs wide cars :D
  17. Ah, I would love to get that scene somewhere near sea and bomb it from Black Seas Barracuda ;) So many targets for pirates canons :D Anyway, nice diorama! Nice customization!
  18. Maybe try expand build style from set 60054 Working model on youtube:
  19. Nice! Feels a lot like real Imperial building. Same as Slegengr I noticed the balcony should have some more solid base. Overall very nice model!
  20. Hello, this is my entry for contest and my 1st MOC posted on Eurobricks :) What I would like to find under the tree? Magic pit fulfilled with lot of bricks. Never ending pit :) P.S. I hope it is ok to entry be animated? It is still 1 image :) 800x600. And had lot of FUN with making it :)
  21. For me works having more than 1 wanted list. Just on bricklink. I make wanted lists with: - parts I need the most - the most expansive parts - sometimes the most rare - parts would be nice to buy but they are not "must have" - parts I need but can be different colors or molds - etc. I run few queries for (most important, most expansive or with great amount needed) single parts (price sorting) and pretty fast can see which shop got enough bricks for good price. Usually choose my country (or continent) for low post price Every interesting shop I open in new browser's' tab. When got enough stores to fulfill main needs I am starting add bricks to carts. Then I run queries for all additional wanted lists and compare prices for those less important items only between stores currently open in tabs. Best price = add to cart. It is pretty easy, just a bit time consuming. Last night I literally bought 2 times more bricks for the same price then I was goin' to pay in 1 store. Instead I made orders in 4 different stores using method above and got for exactly same money 2 time more bricks! I even got everything from my additional wanted lists! And that's includes shipping costs, cheaper bricks made shipping cost almost invisible ;) I couldn't believe my eyes and counted everything 3 times ;) The prices form different sellers on bricklink are really very very different and need to know market a bit. I am new to to bricklink but I got some experience with online market so figured it out pretty fast. P.S. I am not English native, I hope you can understand my post ;)
  22. Cool. Gratz! One of the greatest vintage sets imho! And I told myself few weeks ago no more Lego buying till new year and... made 4 new orders on bricklink.
  23. Well said, sir! :) Haha, yup! :)
  24. I am not really into those modular buildings line, coz they are really overwhelming for whole city (if you build some mini city)... And every city looks the same with them. But this 1 seems really nice. Will consider buying it and rebuild it a bit.
  25. I always liked both fractions. When I was the kid they were 1 army - blue and red - fighting vs pirates. Of course they always lose because pirates rulez ;) But always liked blue a bit more, they are pure classic to me :)
