  1. I used bricks from two Creator sets and designed one tenement building. It contains the 'Black Snake' bar, a medieval exhibition, and cosy apartments for residents. 2. Thx. Yeah, the moment I saw this ball I knew I had to make some character with it :) Thx :) Thx :D
  3. An out-of-this-world companion ready to stand by your side. When danger looms and your gold purse is full, summon The Dark Wanderer — a silent guardian cloaked in mystery and powered by forgotten magic. 4. @aFrInaTi0n I think @Black Falcon is right. The topic creations date seems to be main issue here. I went thru 20 topics from unread content and they all old topics... Even when you check out my previous message with screenshot - only visible topic was old one and other 2 were new.
  5. Hah, I am to young I guess ;) I never think about yellow castle as a real LEGO castle. It is more like collectors item for me. Or nostalgia item for some ppl ;) Real castles theme for me starts with this one. But I got your point of course and I understand nostalgia :) Thx :)
  6. The LEGO Creator 31168 Medieval Horse Knight Castle set has sparked a bit of controversy among Castle fans. It's all about the horses. They're built from bricks. Castles have always had dedicated horses, a single piece mold. I decided to solve this problem and use the horse bricks to build small additions to the castle. 7. In 2018 the LEGO set from the movie Tron: Legacy was released. I bought it shortly after its premiere. I really love the Tron style. The minifigures are fantastic! The light cycles themselves are okay but I quickly rebuilt them into something else. 8. @danth Thx :) Yeah, I had some fun and done a lot of tests with new colors and shapes. P.S. Raid VPR is only 69 pieces! It is amazing in old sets how small number of parts they used.

  11. This orc village has a chance to become an official LEGO set! It needs your vote :) Yes, I'm trying again at the LEGO Bricklink Designer Program competition. The real orc head is finally here in the BDP9 parts list! Finally Orcs look like orcs! :) I think this is the best moment to vote for this project! Many parts disappeared from the last round and I had to rebuild or recolor many elements. But it still looks like I see an Orc's world in my head :) I don’t know which bricks the next BDP part list will remove so I don’t know if I will be back for the next round… I also added some new features. Let's start from the beginning :) INTRODUCTION Welcome to the fantasy world full of spells, orcs, knights and mystical creatures. You have reached the mysterious Arganvlagh village in the Nugh-Mefg desert. Who lives here? Of course mighty greenskin orcs! They are great warriors and hunters. They are led by a shaman, spellcaster, who is in control of a big magic crystal. In the village there is a portal. Orcs use it to fast travel to the far places. But it is a dangerous device. It can be opened from the other side… The Black Knights of the Serpent just discovered that and came out from the Portal… BUILDS Everything can be rearranged and you can choose how your village will look like. There are 6 main structures: - Guarded Cottage - Shaman Hut - Watch Tower - Magic Portal - Hanging cage - Orc banner There are 15 minifigures: - 7 Orcs - 6 Knights (including the King) - 2 Skeletons There are 18 animals: - 2 horses - 1 brick-built creature (mount) - 13 rats - 1 bat - 1 spider Total parts: 4000 GUARDED COTTAGE It is a place where Orc warriors can rest. Next to the hut is a small animal farm full of big desert rats. Why rats? Orcs eat them! There are not many other animals in the Nugh-Mefg desert. - you can open the whole structure - full detailed interior - 2 main halls - prison made of bones and spider’s web - dual chandelier hanging on chains - well with water - guard tower on the top of the building - space for animals SHAMAN HUT It is an old wagon which arrived here many years ago. It was turned into a house. - includes powerful magic crystal, its magic is so huge that it needs to be held by 4 chains - the small crystal on the pillar let Shaman control this unknown power - magic totem included - includes full interior with bed and shelves with magic potions which can be access via opening spiders web on the back WATCH TOWER Very tall wooden construction to spot enemies from very far. There are always Orc guards there. - height is 19.5 inch / 49,3 cm ! - you can detach the roof and floor to get better access to interior - defensive abilities with crossbows - lot of food and water for hungry guards HANGING CAGE This small structure has a purpose to scare enemies and show that the village is populated by warriors. THE ORC BANNER Very small structure but very important. It shows an Orc symbol. You immediately know who lives here. THE PORTAL Magic structure for distance travels. From one side there are monuments showing orc warriors. On the other side there is a stone-work. - includes a play feature. You can put minifigure in the center and rotate the transparent part which make it “teleport” to the other side ADDITIONAL NOTES: I designed a special orc symbol and you can find it on the banner, flags and some shields. There are tons of all kinds of weapons and shields here. Swords, axes, spears, printed and unprinted shields. I hope you like this unusual world I created. Please vote for it and let the green Orcs come to the LEGO universe!
  12. Treeman is an ancient fantasy superhero. Defender of the forests! 13. Sure, no problem. So here are my first tests after flag as read everything. So here you can see my settings, basically like show me everything unread. And here is for example LEGO Historic Themes, as you can see there are 3 unread topics But in the https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/discover/unread/ (which are the settings above from) it shows only Lord of the Rings one. Various Tutorials and MOC Forestman are not there. So the problem exist for sure. Will check later on other browser but i don't think it is browser fault. To me sounds more like server side.
  14. It is the opposite, I never clicked "flag as read". Maybe that's a problem. It is "to heavy" ? Now I see some MOCs on the list but I have feeling it is like 10% of everything posted. I will do test - flag all as read and I come back to you in few days. P.S. Using Opera/Windows.
  15. Hello, from some time I am only using link on the top right - https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/discover/unread/ - to check new forum posts. And I was surprised that no one post MOCs for a very long time. And then I was just manually checking every subforum and sub-subforum and noticed that there are a lot of new MOCs posts. They just don't show in unread content. I've never seen them there. It is a bug? Or a feature? An extra question: How to setup some search link to show all unread MOCs from all subforums? Going one by one is tedious, to many of them. Some of the sub forums like Star Wars got another subforum (Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game) where there are also a lot of great MOCs. I need help ;)
  16. When I buy a new LEGO set I almost always build some alternative structure with it. I've always enjoyed playing with a limited palette of bricks. It doubles the creativity. But I've almost never posted them here. Time to change that :) Full text at http://bricks.kalais.net/post130 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#1 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#2 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#3 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#4 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#5 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#6 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#7 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#8 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130#9 High resolution images and full original post on the LEGO Blog: http://bricks.kalais.net/post130
  17. A variation on the set I used to dream about as a kid. I spent many hours staring at it in catalogs or admiring the beautiful graphics on the boxes at Pewex stores :D Full text at http://bricks.kalais.net/post129 Full size image: http://bricks.kalais.net/post129#1 High resolution images and full original post on the LEGO Blog: http://bricks.kalais.net/post129
  18. Thx! P.S. It is not really recreation though, in the movie it was coffin. I made it more like cemetery design with the mausoleum :) Thx! :)
  19. Haha, or with the mech ;) Thx :)
  20. The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite stop-motion animations. When the LEGO 21351 set came out it immediately went on my to-buy list. LEGO held a contest to celebrate its release. Nice one, the size is perfect. P.S. Many vehicles from the sets are to big. But we can make MOCs so no biggie ;)
